Chapter 33. Meet Haikal

The festive atmosphere, made Ainisha feel uncomfortable. He never went to a businessman's party like tonight's party. The most interesting thing was Haikal.

I don't know what impulse, which suddenly made Ainisha want to get close to Haikal. But before he stepped, Haikal approached him first.

"Hi, good night" said Haikal politely.

The tongue of Ainisha is confused to answer Haikal. His heart was pounding and his heart was racing. What happened to him at this moment was something he did not expect.

Ainisha tried to suppress her feelings that were starting to stir. Her sweet smile adorned her lips which still felt stiff.

"Good night," replied Ainisha gently though somewhat nervous.

"You, Miss Minarsih?" haikal asked again while staring at Ainisha sharply.

"That's right, sir. You who?" ainisha pretended not to know Haikal.

Haikal smiled very sweetly. The smile that made Ainisha very infatuated with him. Then that smile now Haikal spread to other women. Ainisha's heart turned upset.

"We met a year ago. I didn't expect, that you'd be that easy to forget about the person you met before" Haikal replied with a sigh.

Ainisha was shocked and confused to hear Haikal's words. It must be the confusion seen by Haikal at this time. He did not dare to look at Haikal's face because surely Haikal would be suspicious of him. Fortunately, Minarsih came to save Ainisha's life from her panic.

"Night, Mr. Haikal. How are you?" greet Bu Minarsih while approaching Haikal.

"Night too, Miss Minarsih. Good news, Mrs Minar herself, how?" haikal replied while shaking hands with Ms. Minarsih.

"good. Long time no see, after our cooperation ended a year ago," said Ms. Minarsih relaxed.

Haikal and Minarsih continued their conversation and joked. At times Ainisha stole a glance towards Haikal who seemed shrewd in speaking.

Ainisha lowered her head as their gazes clashed. Haikal looked at Ainisha suspiciously. Ainisha also realized that Haikal's eyes looked strange. But Ainisha did not know what was currently in Haikal's mind.

"Clara, Mr. Haikal, wants to re-cooperate with our company. Mom told you that now you're handling it. So from now on you will often meet with Mr. Haikal," said Ms. Minarsih while looking at Ainisha gently.

Ainisha could only nod. She actually wanted to tell Bu Minarsih, that the man currently in front of her was her husband.

"Sir Haikal, I hope you can guide Clara because she is new to the business world" Bu Minarsih told Haikal, who continued to look at Ainisha. "You talk and get to know each other first, so as not to be awkward when starting cooperation."

Ms. Minarsih left the two of them who just kept quiet. Ainisha no longer dared to stare at Haikal's gaze as if it was stripping him naked.

"Clara, your eyes remind me of my wife. She has very beautiful and seductive eyes just like you," Haikal said like a drunk, but she was not drunk.

Hearing Haikal's teasing speech, made Ainisha's heart ache and angry. Haikal dared to tease other women even though it was him. But her face was Clara, and meant she was teasing other people.

"Basic boy, Playboy. The name Casanova suits you," muttered Ainisha who immediately left Haikal confused by Ainisha's attitude just now.

Ainisha got out of the party and walked her around this place. Seeing the moon shining brightly surrounded by stars that radiated beautifully up there.

Ainisha looked left and right to see if anyone else had seen this accident. The atmosphere was quiet enough and enough to support his revenge plan.

"To-long tire-tu, me," said Resia quietly even barely heard.

But, could he be that cruel to damage the face of Resia who was now covered in blood?

Ainisha remembered herself, who now had to live life as someone else because of Resia. She could not get together with her parents even with her husband anymore. She needs time to make her loved ones realize that she is Ainisha.

Ainisha tried to open the door of the car whose glass had been destroyed even now damaged his face. Ainisha tried to pull Resia's body slowly, but her strength was not strong enough to lift Resia's body.

"Clara, need help?" asked Haikal who was worried about Clara who looked angry at him.

At a time like this, it was impossible for Ainisha to indulge and show an upset attitude towards Haikal. Ainisha nodded slowly and along with Haikal, Ainisha tried to pull Resia's body slowly. Finally they managed to get Resia out of the car even though with great difficulty. Haikal immediately picked up his car and took Resia to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, Haikal immediately contacted John, Resia's husband. Ainisha was just sitting around waiting for the doctor to come out to hear about Resia's condition now.

"Clara, her husband is coming soon. We'll wait a little while, after that I'll drive you home" Haikal said as he sat next to Ainisha.

"Well," replied Ainisha quietly.

Ainisha still remembered, as Resia looked at him while asking for help. It was so sad with a face full of blood dripping from being hit by broken glass. When Resia used to ruin her face, she was unconscious. Honestly, Ainisha did not feel that pain. Either he should feel grateful or sad.

After a while, John came in a state of panic. He approached Haikal and asked Resia. That's when one of the doctors came out.

"Who is the patient's family?" ask the doctor.

"I'm her husband, Doc" replied John as he approached.

"Look, Sir. I'm sorry, we've tried to do our best for your wife. However, his facial injuries were so severe that plastic surgery had to be done in several stages. We are still doing a more detailed examination and waiting for your permission and approval" said the doctor in a sad tone.

"okay, Doc. Do what is best for my wife. The cost doesn't matter," John replied with a heavy sigh.

"Well, we'll do the operation but we can't rush it.

"Why, Doc?" john began to panic again.

"We found one more Maslah that is more urgent to do the operation first. But I hope you are calm and patient" said the doctor who increasingly makes John panic.

Not only John, but Haikal and Ainisha were panicked and worried. Although Ainisha hated Resia very much, but her humanity still exists.

"Doctor, tell me quickly, don't panic me" said John, trying to calm himself.

So what really happened to Resia?
