Chapter 28. Can't defend you

Haikal stopped and looked at Ainisha's body sitting on the floor holding both knees. His body looks weak because it must have not eaten since noon. Haikal approached Ainisha to invite her to eat.

"Anisha, why are you still here? Why don't you go back home and rest" asked Haikal, sad to see Ainisha's condition.

After all, Ainisha is Alisha which means that she is his wife now. Despite Ainisha's mistakes, their marriage still meant a lot to Haikal.

"I ... I," replied Ainisha nervously.

"Here we go, let's eat together" Haikal said as he helped Ainisha stand up.

Seeing Ainisha's weak condition, Haikal decided to let Ainisha sit in the waiting room. Haikal went out to buy food.

After some time, Haikal returned with a pack of fried rice and warm drinks for Ainisha. Patiently, Haikal fed Ainisha, whose eyes began to tear from the shock of seeing Haikal's attention to her. Haikal knows all his secrets now.

"You don't eat? We eat together" said Ainisha weakly.

Haikal smiled, then he ate a few spoonfuls of fried rice. The togetherness of Haikal and Ainisha, became the most beautiful thing they felt after the revelation of the secret of Ainisha.

After eating, Haikal brought Ainisha in to meet her conscious mother. However, what Haikal and Ainisha hoped for, was not as beautiful. Bu Kartika still can not accept the actions of Ainisha.

"Haikal, why is he still here? I don't want to see her again at any time" shouted Bu Kartika.

"Mother, how ever she is mother's daughter-in-law now. He will go where if not with me" Haikal replied trying to calm his mother.

"Haikal, you've been exposed to the lady's witchcraft. What you see from him. She's just a poor girl who wants to get rich by getting close to you. Poor people who only think about money. Ouch ... Ha ... Haikal's." Bu Kartika who was getting emotional, suddenly felt pain in his chest.

Haikal and Ainisha panicked and pressed a button to call the doctor. The doctor and two nurses came to take care of Ms. Kartika. Haikal and Ainisha were asked to leave.

Haikal and Ainisha are deeply saddened by Haikal's mother's condition. Bu Kartika instead of getting better, even worse when meeting Ainisha. Ainisha realized that his presence on the side of Haikal was not the best solution. There are many things that must be considered to be the best decision for everyone.

Ainisha knew full well, what she had sown must one day she would pluck it. Likewise with his sins to the Haikal family, Ainisha had to be willing if the Haikal family hated him so much.

Ainisha also prepared himself, if the Haikal family would report himself to the police. Although Haikal loved him very much, but on the other hand there was his mother who was sick. Ainisha did not want to make Haikal a dilemma of choosing between him or his mother.

After his mother was declared calm, Haikal went in to see his mother.

"Mom, don't think too much. Mother, it should be fine," said Haikal sadly.

"Haikal, how can you be okay if you're still with that liar woman. If you still want to see mom alive, leave her. Divorce her immediately" said Bu Kartika slowly.

"But, Mom, I love her so much. I beg ...," said Haikal stopped because his mother immediately replied.

Haikal is in a dilemma. On one side was his mother on the other side was his wife. Haikal fell silent for a while, then went out to meet Ainisha and find the right solution for the two of them.

Outside the room, Ainisha sat quietly with her feelings beginning to calm down. His decision was taken before Haikal came.

"Anisha, I'm sorry. I still can't accept you as my wife. What if you go back to your parents' house for a while and if you don't have emotions anymore, I'll pick you up" Haikal said of the solution to their relationship.

Ainisha, who was ready with all that, just smiled and accepted.

"Hey, you don't have to worry about me. I understand your difficulties. I've made a decision for me and best for your mother. I'm ready if you'll divorce me. Because from the beginning, I was wrong. Come in and accompany your mother" said Ainisha, intending to leave immediately.

"I'm sorry Ainisha. For now I can't keep you by my side. But I will never divorce you. Wait for me, I'll come get you as soon as possible" said Haikal sadly.

Ainisha just nodded slowly. With a sad heart he left the hospital. Ainisha waited for the taxi that had been booked. That night, it rained hard.

While waiting for a taxi, a woman who was the same age as him looked anxious and panicked. Ainisha tried to find out what happened to the woman. Apparently he was in a hurry to go home because when he left the house, he did not say goodbye to his parents.

The taxi he ordered has arrived. Out of pity for the woman, Ainisha gave her the taxi she ordered to her.

"Thank you" said the woman, handing over the umbrella to Ainisha before leaving.

"Sama-sama," Ainisha replied with a smile.

The night is getting late. Ainisha decided to break through the rain using the umbrella in her hand. Ainisha walked slowly in the rain. The wind blew strong enough that the umbrella used by Ainisha was lifted up.

Ainisha was shocked because her body was wet with rain. He's trying to find shelter. However, when he was not concerned about the state of the road around him, a car hit Ainisha's wet body. Ainisha's body bounced not far from the car that hit her.

Ainisha could only feel pain all over her body. He could no longer stand. However, his eyes could still faintly see someone coming down from the car that hit him. A woman with a breast by a man. It was quite obvious the woman's face to Ainisha.

"Resia ..." murmured Ainisha before she was unconscious and in a coma.

What happened to Ainisha afterwards, when she woke up from her coma was a surprise to herself as well as to those who knew her. Because Ainisha felt, she would not survive after the accident that night.

Ainisha started to open her eyes slowly. On his broom the whole room even the ceiling of the room where he lay weakly. His body was full of medical devices to help him survive. Ainisha realizes that she is in the ICU room of a hospital.
