CHAPTER 35

The golden rice rolls swayed in the wind, several flying sparrows circled over it to steal some rice grains . They took advantage of the opportunities of the farmers who were resting under shady trees . The peasants of the village talked to each other in a friendly and open manner with each other, the girls and mothers preparing the dishes they brought from home for lunch together .

After lunch and a short break, they returned to the rice fields to harvest the rice that had been ready for harvest . They worked together to cut the rice stalks in the rice fields and piled them on the edge to make a large rice mountain . While the women and girls pounded the dimples on the edge of the rice field while joking together, sometimes the girls my age sang to accompany the sound of the rhythm of the rice mortar . The little children were running around merrily on the edge of the surrounding rice fields while carrying bamboo ferris, their laughter was heard to my ears .

I watched them in the shade of shady trees on a hill not far from the rice field where the farmers were engaged . After a brief tour of the market I found nothing interesting, maybe because the village of Reives is a small village so there are no interested traders so all the goods in the market are handmade from the locals .

I saw that nothing else could interest me, and then started complaining to Curtis . Curtis took me to the edge of the village to rest while looking at the beautiful yellowing rice landscape . We tied the horses under a small hill, allowing them to graze under the hill while taking a short rest . While I spent time on the hill while tasting various flavors of candy that I bought earlier .

I sat on my backside while Curtis, he lay comfortably on the green grass . Using a pillow next to his arm, Curtis closed his ever-sharp gray eyes . His lentic eyelashes obscured the cold features on his face, now that handsome face was very alluring who saw it .

" Handsome brother, I'm bored .. "I complain again

Curtis was silent, he just opened his eyes slightly and glanced at me who was pouting candy . Then he closed his eyes again, not responding to me .

" Why aren't there any interesting shows on the market ... ?? " my words still complain even though they are not responded to

" Next time" Curtis said briefly without opening his eyes

I fell silent and let out a long sigh, I threw my body back and went to lie down on the grass like Curtis .

I smiled calmly and almost fell asleep when I suddenly remembered something . I jumped to my feet while shouting so that it surprised Curtis who was sleeping next to me .

" a !!! I remember ..!!! " suddenly I shouted

Curtis was surprised and opened his eyes in shock, in fact he would scold me but he was confused to see me who had run down the hill .

" This is my favorite violin, this body is weak so I'm not allowed out is . Therefore I can only learn various things to fill my free time "said while looking down at the violin in my hand

Curtis looked at me flatly, but the look in his eyes looked at me deeply . As if he represented his feelings that he could not say, "it must be difficult" he said briefly

I straightened my head and turned to the side looking at Curtis, I smiled helplessly and then said slowly .

Curtis listened to the perfect play of the melody that rose and fell with a smooth, comfortable and serene expression sculpted on the beautiful face of his beautiful little girl . I opened my eyes and our gaze met together, I smiled sincerely at this young man before me . The first young man I trusted and treated with the utmost respect a true friend . " I accompanied my mother and grandfather" the little girl said as she chewed a large piece of chocolate candy in her mouth
