CHAPTER 33

Curtis POV

I frowned confused by their strange behavior, but right now I was not in the mood to care about trivial things so I decided not to care about it .

I'll turn my eyes the other way when Cleo's voice was ringing again .

' Oh yes !! handsome brother don't forget to bring my violin box too later '

I closed my eyes again and sighed loudly, ' so upsetting 'my mind . I thought I wanted to try to disobey him at this time, but somehow without me realizing my body had turned around and my mouth had called Mr. Lin here .

" Mister Lin !! " I cried loudly

Mr. Lin and Elis who had hesitated and were afraid jumped in shock with the loud voice of his Young Master who called, Mr. Lin gulped hard 'God ' thought . He really regretted following his curiosity so he came here earlier .

Mr. Lin also advanced slowly carefully, his head he bowed as deeply as possible . So I tracked the horse to a speeding pace leaving the young servant boy without a word . The boy heaved a sigh of relief at my departure, he sat back down on the haystack next to the bamboo pole while looking at the gold coins he had obtained earlier .

I drove my horse out of the villa, when I reached the front door of the villa I passed by Mr. Lin who ran out carrying the violin box I asked for earlier . Mr. Lin ran in a hurry when he heard the sound of horse footprints coming . And when he got to the front door just as I was passing by, I stopped waiting for Mr. Lin who was walking quickly here to hand over the box .

After receiving it without a word I quickly drove back the horse out of the villa, passed the gate and ran down the hill past the orchard on its side .

This old horse is not as bad as I thought, it can still run fast and agile on the rocky path of the plantation . I passed through the orchard tightly and some of the workers who heard the loud clattering of horse legs turned to greet me as I passed by . I drove my horse fast until I reached the foot of the hill in a very short time .

' where would my little girl go ?? ' thought

I thought as I drove my horse slowly out of the plantation area . I was still deep in thought when I heard a familiar voice entering my hearing .

" Handsome brother !! " rushing

I turned to the direction the voice came from and saw my little girl was in a very unpleasant position in the view ....

Cleo POVs

I teased Curtis and ran away as fast as I could to avoid his rampage, I drove the horse through the plantation and down the hill . The workers who were beside the path looked at me with funny expressions, they were shocked, astonished, and amazed simultaneously seeing a noble girl riding like a man .

I smiled and waved at them as I passed by, You fool Cleo, you don't know the direction !! act recklessly until you run away first but the edges still have to wait for Curtis to come . Isn't this the same as handing over your head willingly ' my reflection in heart while slowing down the pace of my horse .

I turned to the right and to the left looked around the orchard, not feeling it had reached the bottom of the hill . I stopped my horse and turned back .

" Why so long ?? " murmurm

' Did Curtis get angry and decide not to follow me, can't it be that handsome big brother sulks that easily ??!! ' thought

I decided to wait here so I jumped down from the horse and tied it to one of the low apple tree branches . I walked around the apple trees that were in the fruiting season, I chose one that branched heavily and was easy to climb . I smiled slantingly and took off my shoes, leaving behind a thin, unobtrusive silk sock and then I started climbing onto the leafy apple tree .

I chose one of the thick, sturdy-looking branches, then I placed myself comfortably on it . ' Huh ... thankfully I wore a light dress today ' I thought glad . I made my most comfortable position for me without caring about the surroundings, because I noticed it was very quiet . So I leaned against the trunk of the tree and raised one of my feet to the branch while the other I let hang leisurely down . I grabbed a ripe apple over me and began to gnaw it, my dress slightly exposed to the knees due to my sloppy sitting position .

Blowing breeze brings cool and fresh air typical of the highlands, I smiled happily and started humming merrily while occasionally gnawing at the apples on the trees .

" Alright, I'll wait for my handsome brother quietly here "my little mumble

Moments later there was the sound of the horse's foot descending the hill, I glanced at it and moaned in my heart' finally coming too .... ' .

Curtis rode the horse fiercely down the hill, ' it seemed like the old horse was quite strong as well 'my inner . Curtis would occasionally look around to look for me, I smiled small and cried out loud .

" Handsome brother !! " I cried loudly

Curtis stopped and turned to look at me, he immediately knitted his eyebrows dislike . I chuckled looking at her who was looking at me with annoyance, I giggled happily .

" Happy brother why is it so long ?? " i said spoiled with a pouting mouth

" Down !! " he said cold

I took a casual bite of my apple and glanced down then looked at Curtis and pretended to be scared .

" Can't, very high" I said

Curtis remained unreactive, he did not respond to my joke this time .

" Down !! " he said again briefly

I gave up teasing her and started to finish the last bite of my apple and threw it recklessly behind her .

" I'm not polite" he murmured softly

Curtis who saw him getting annoyed even pretended to sulk this time, I clenched my lips tightly with a frown while throwing my face the other way .

Curtis sighed tiredly looking at me who was beginning to sulk at him, he jumped down from his horse and walked down the tree I was sitting in . Curtis stood up straight and pitched a flat look at me then said softly, his tone as if persuading an upset me .

" Come down, it will fall "he said briefly

I turned my head down and faced her and smiled sweetly, I spread my hands towards her . Curtis was confused, he frowned in wonder .

" Capture me "I said while jumping down suddenly from above

Curtis was so surprised, his eyes widened to see me who suddenly jumped up without telling him earlier . Curtis jumped lightly forward and caught me with both hands, I held him tightly in his arms as if afraid I would get hurt . I hugged his neck tightly and smelled the distinctive scent of Curtis' body, which was cold and soothing not to be mixed with perfume .

After our feet hit the ground, I let go of my grip on his neck and snapped out of Curtis' embrace, he loosened his hands but still held his waist a little so that I wouldn't limp . After making sure I stood up straight, he let go of his hand . Curtis looked at me coldly, but in the look of his sharp eyes there were many complaints and dissatisfaction towards me .

I smiled calmly, waiting for him to put out the words of grievance that were stuck in his mouth now .

" Why ?? " the question is short

I put on my confused expression, whereas I knew very well the meaning of the question .

" What ??!! " let me go back with a plain expression

Curtis furrowed his brows impatiently, looking at me who was circling as if he did not understand .

I threw my sweet smile and said quietly, "aren't you here ... "

" ..??? " this time it was Curtis's turn to furrow his brows not understanding what I meant .

Curtis was dumbfounded, he was speechless

Curtis's eyes churned with emotion he could not hide, though his expression was still flat but the earlobe was now red . I smiled inwardly at this innocent man before me, I looked at him and was sure my sincerity was conveyed directly to him .

I grabbed and pulled his hand that was still standing . Curtis looked at our adrift hand, then lowered his face deeply . A bright red hue spread all over the face until the lehar .

" Let's go" I said

" Uhm "his murmur was brief

Now Curtis is very obedient, he follows whatever I say like a submissive child . He also completely forgot my previous complaint .

We rode horses each past the market on the main street of the village, I turned my head to the right and to the left in curiosity .

" What do you want ?? " tanyanya

" I don't know .. " I was confused

I looked around and noticed the surrounding people looking at me curiously, I started to look at my own appearance then looked towards Curtis who was still indifferent towards the surroundings . ' am I still too flashy ?? ' thought .

" Handsome brother, let's go to the best tailor in the village . I want to make some clothes "I said

Curtis was a little confused by my request, but he didn't take it any further and immediately took the lead to go to the best tailor he knew .

We rode through a large road and turned a few turns up to a house that was quite spacious and unique . I got off the horse, and Curtis tied him to the fence in the yard . We walked inside, the interior design of this building is quite unique and colorful . Colorful fabrics adorned the walls, ribbons and lace protruding down from the ceiling, there were also some accessories and beads crammed on the small shelves of ends .

A pretty cute little girl ran over to us, maybe she was a waitress here .

" Lord and mistress, is there anything I can help you with ?? " pain asked with a crisp voice

Curtis, hearing the plain words of this little servant, choked and coughed and his ears began to turn red . While I giggled softly in response, the little girl became confused at our response after she spoke .

A middle-aged woman came out in a hurry when she heard our voices, panicking at my striking appearance and Curtis' high temprament . He also realized that our status was high, so he immediately rushed forward nervously .

" Young Master and Miss, please forgive my daughter's sassiness .". "he said as he lowered his head deeply towards us

" Oh, I'm not offended at all . No need to be too polite "I said lightly

The woman straightened her body nervously she was still hesitating, she glanced at me who was smiling kindly at her . Seeing me who was really not taking issue with his daughter's disrespectful actions towards us, and still smiling kindly, he immediately let go of his own tension and was polite .

" Young Master and Miss, is there anything I can help you with ?? " he asked politely

" I want to make some comfortable dresses" I said

" My skills are very ordinary, let me show you some models of dress designs I made . Maybe someone is lucky to interest the lady " said the woman then showed her the way to the inside of the room

I followed her into the interior of the room with Curtis faithfully trailing behind without a word, where there were some dresses on display . Whether it is finished or half-finished there is a simple characteristic typical of the countryside, I follow it towards a simple sewing machine in the corner of the room .

He then reached into the book which was like a pile of sheets tied together, he then brought it towards me nervously .

I received the book politely and kept a gentle smile .
