The Part 50
"Who's out!"
Mr. Herman's wife shouted from the back of the house, she did not know the plan Yudha will run away at that time.
Yudha remained silent as she smothered her mouth, seconds later silent again. Looks like Mr. Herman's wife just confirmed the voice she heard.
Yudha continued her steps towards the door, then rushed in half to run towards the gate and then walked quickly towards the neighboring house of Mr. Herman.
With hunting breath, Yudha entered the neighboring courtyard to hide. So sure everything was safe, he ventured to knock on the door.
"Yes, one minute!"
There was a screaming sound from inside as Yudha knocked on the door, before long the door was opened. A 40-year-old woman stood in the doorway.
The woman immediately greeted me, "eh, Yudha. Can anyone help?"
Yudha bowed lethargicly as she said, "can I sleep here for a while? Waiting for my brother to come pick me up."
The woman did not answer Yudha's question, instead she invited the young man in first. Because he believed the young man in front of him was in trouble.
"Come, come in first" the neighbor asked
"Yes, thank you ma'am" said Yudha quietly.
"Wait here for a minute, yeah," said the woman, she went back in to call her husband.
Soon, a couple approached Yudha who was sitting in the living room. They sat in a long chair facing Yudha with a smile.
"Yudha, right, pounded Mr. Herman?" The husband started the conversation.
"I - iiya sir," said Yudha nervously
"What's the matter, so you ran away from home? Your uncle and aunt will definitely be looking," said the middle-aged man
Yudha was pensive, it was impossible for her to tell all the ugliness and disgrace of her uncle's wife. But, he also did not want to be considered a self-knowing ponakan.
Since there was no reply from Yudha, the middle-aged man continued.
"We don't want to give you a place. But, we also have to know what the problem is? Because I personally don't want your uncle's good relationship to be broken."
"We can think of him as instigating" he continued.
After a long contemplation, Yudha finally decided to tell the chronology that caused her to run away from her uncle's house.
"Can you and your mom keep this a secret?" ask Yudha quietly.
The couple nodded together, they were curious and wanted to know what was going on. As far as they knew, there was no commotion at Mr. Herman's house and then suddenly his bangs escaped.
Yudha began to tell the beginning of his arrival in detail, to the cause of her decision to leave the house of her uncle and aunt.
Yudha's face looked so desperate, it was indeed very dilemma. One side he has to keep his family secret. However, the other side he also had to tell the dark side of his uncle's wife.
"I've been trying to be patient sir. But, my little heart was in revolt and couldn't accept aunt's treatment" Yudha said in a sad tone.
The couple looked at each other, in this case they really had to be wise so as not to cause problems in the future.
"You better rest inside, tomorrow we'll talk again" said the woman.
Yudha rested in the boy's room of the couple, only a year from Yudha. Coincidentally they also know each other and often chat if they meet in the mosque.
"Come, Yud, let's go to the room" he asked.
"Yes" said Yudha
The two young men entered the room, Yudha did not speak much and chose to lay down her body.
"Yud, wait here for a moment yes," said Firman, the name of the young man.
Five minutes later, Firman appeared carrying a plate of rice and side dishes into the room.
"Eat first, surely you haven't eaten Jud all day" he said, handing Yudha a plate
Yudha woke up, looked at the face of the Word with a sad look. It turned out that others were much more concerned for him Yudha thought.
At first Yudha refused. However, Firman forced a little threatening to complain and tell his uncle and aunt that Yudha was now in his house.
Yudha finally melted, then took the plate in the hand of the Word and said, "thank you Man."
After Yudha ate, Firman brought back the dirty dishes and glasses that Yudha had eaten. Then I told Yudha to rest.
"Rest Jud, today you must be very tired" said the Word.
"Yes" said Yudha slowly
"Why is my fate like this? how sad my life is," Yudha's inner
The old young man was pensive, it flashed across his mind to return to his hometown. But, he was confused because it did not cost even his savings money was also exhausted.
Yudha had been holed up in the house of her uncle's neighbor for a week, no one had searched for her whereabouts, perhaps this was what her aunt wanted.
Early in the morning, Yudha met the father of the Word. Brave to talk and ask for help to borrow money to buy a ticket home.
Yudha approached Firman's father on the sofa standing and bowed, the young man gathered strength to begin the conversation.
"Yudha," said Firman.
"I'd like to talk to you for a minute sir" Yudha replied nervously
"May, please sit down first" replied Firman's father calmly.
Yudha sat up facing each other, fearing that her request had not worked.
"What's up, Jud? speak,"
"Emm, sir, I want to ask for help" Yudha said. However, he has not continued his words.
"What help? As long as I can, I'll help you."
"Can you borrow me some money, I'll buy you a ticket home. Later when I get there I will return the money and send it," Yudha said expectantly.
Father Word fell silent, seemingly thinking. Seeing Yudha's true state he also felt pity. But, of course he must ask permission first to his wife especially about money matters such as Yudha's request.
Yudha anxiously awaits an answer, if his request is rejected then, dashed his hope to go home soon.
"Look, Jud, you told his mother the Word. Patience." father Word opened his voice.
"You wait here for a moment" he said again.
Father Firman stepped into the room, leaving Yudha alone in the living room. Yudha continued to recite prayers in his heart, may the parents of the Word help him.
Soon, the father and mother of the Word went out to walk from the room and approached Yudha. The two sitting next to each other right in front of Yudha made Yudha more nervous and more upset.
"Yud, you want to go home?" ask his mother Word to break the silence.
Yudha raised her face, then nodded with a smile. However, a gurat of sadness emanated on his face.
"Dad Firman told me you wanted to borrow money to buy a ticket."
"We have spoken inside, briefly in the afternoon invite Firman to the port to see and check how much the ticket price," continued Si Mother again.
Wanting to feel Yudha soaring, the words of the parents of the Word like melting ice that was very soothing to his heart.
"Thank you God, I am met with good people" murmured Yudha in a grateful heart.
