Part 49's

For a week Yudha was at her uncle's house, every day her time was spent caring for her uncle. Sometimes he also accompanied his aunt to the garden which was a good distance from home.

The allowance Bagas gave him was thinning, automatically he had to really save money.

Today, Yudha asked her aunt to go to her uncle's cocoa farm and harvest the fruit if it was ripe.

Yudha walked down a lonely path, far from his will. However, what power he had to do and be patient waiting for Bagas to come pick him back.

"Oh my God, what a dream am I. Gotta go through all of this," he said on his way to the garden.

Yudha had arrived at his uncle's garden, his eyes widened to see the appearance of the cacao fruit so thick.

"Wow!!, it seems like this garden has not been visited for a long time. The fruit is also thick and large" cried Yudha.

Her aunt took her to the garden. But, they came to another location. His aunt just pointed out the way and told him that her uncle also had a cocoa farm nearby.

Yudha began to harvest, and the four sacks he carried were all filled to the brim. The young man was puzzled as to how to bring the sacks home.

Yudha exited the garden site, she walked towards the path and stopped at the intersection.

"I'd better stand here, hopefully someone passes by" he murmured.

Shortly afterwards, from afar Yudha saw a ox cart approaching her standing up. Yudha intended to stop the carriage and asked for help to give him a ride.

The wagon drew closer, Yudha waved her hand gesturing. The car stopped right in front of him.

The owner of the wagon looked suspiciously at Yudha, perhaps also astonished at the sight of a foreign figure. Moreover, the appearance of Yudha was indeed very different from the local community.

Clean skin and neat clothes, even if only wearing t-shirts and shorts is not the appearance of a farmer. Of course it invites suspicion of people who see it.

"Excuse me sir" Yudha said kindly

"Who are you?" asked the owner of the wagon with a flat face while looking at Yudha's face

"It looks like you're not here, what are you doing in such a deserted place?"

"I'm sorry, I picked up Mr. Herman. Just a week into his house, uncle sent me to the cocoa farm over there." Yudha pointed to the location of her uncle's garden while explaining her identity.

The owner of the wagon fell silent, trying to recall the name the young man had mentioned in front of him. Then he asked again.

"What do you say can be trusted?" he said tilting his head.

"I swear sir, Uncle Herman is my father's sister and I just came to visit my uncle's house for the first time" Yudha assured.

"Hmm, okay. Why are you holding my cart?"

"I want to ask for help, can you give me a ride. In the garden there are four sacks full of my harvest to take home."

"It is impossible for me to carry the four sacks, sir," continued Yudha with a clear face.

"Then show me where the sacks are and ride with me" the owner of the wagon took him and turned his wagon back towards the direction Yudha pointed.

The four sacks had been transported into the cart with the help of the gerbak owner, Yudha also boarded with breathless breath.

Along the way, the two get acquainted and tell stories about many things. Yudha tells her why she was taken to her uncle's house.

Without feeling they had arrived, Yudha was helped by the owner of the cart to lower the sack containing the cocoa and lift it into the warehouse.

The person simply smiled as he nodded, then bid farewell to return to his home.

Yudha went inside the house, the young man rushed to the room and took a towel and washed himself, who was full of sweat.

"Well, siaall. My body until it gets sticky and itchy, where tired of aches again," his grunts while dousing his body with water.

Inwardly he wanted to shout with all his might, annoyed, angry, disappointed all the way into one. He felt Bagas had intentionally trapped and tortured him.

"Sister Bagas, you have the heart of your own brother. Brother doesn't know how tortured I am here," inwardly

After bathing, Yudha lay down her body in bed until she fell asleep until the afternoon.

In his sleep, Yudha said that he heard a knock on the door. The young man sharpened his hearing and sure enough, his aunt was knocking on the door while calling his name.

Yudha got up, then got off the bed with lazy steps towards the door and opened it.

"Yud, it's afternoon. Auntie thought you weren't home yet. But, auntie, look at the back there's already a sack of cocoa so aunt check your room" said her aunt.

"Yes, bi. I went home from this afternoon and took a break" Yudha replied..

"Tomorrow morning, accompany auntie huh. We chop the cocoa and get it dried up in front."

Yudha was surprised, he thought that the cocoa was sold in its whole form as it was harvested. It turned out to have to go through the drying process again.

"Oh, Tuhaan. When will my suffering be finished!" his screams in the heart.

"Should it be split and dried again bi?" ask Yudha curiously.

"Yes, sunburned again for the next few days" replied his aunt.

"Alright, aunt to the room first yes," said the Aunt.

Yudha nodded while scratching her nape, if only she had money she might have run away and gone home to her city.

One month has passed, Yudha is getting depressed and feeling bored. Every day he just spends time taking care of the house and taking care of his uncle.

Her aunt's true nature began to come out, if Yudha could not help her in the kitchen. Thus, Yudha's food rations would be reduced sometimes her aunt would hide food from Yudha.

Since his uncle's house, Yudha only knew a few neighbors. He rarely interacts, they only meet at the mosque during prayer. Such a time that Yudha can use to relax.

Until one day, Yudha came home from the garden hungry. But when he got home he found no food in the kitchen.

As Yudha's emotions boiled over, she went into the room and packed her things.

At that time his determination was round, the only way he had to escape from his uncle's house. Though in his little heart pity and pity look at his uncle. But, she also could not bear the treatment of her aunt.

Yudha's clothes and belongings were already in the bag, the young man looked behind the door watching his aunt.

"I'm sorry uncle for leaving you. Brother Bagas, I cannot keep my promise. Brother has no idea what I'm going through here," he murmured softly

At that time, who was imagined in the head of Yudha, could get out of his uncle's house despite having to hitchhike for a while in the house of a neighbor he knew.

Slowly Yudha came out of the room, the young man sneaking through his uncle's room.

Just as Yudha was about to reach the door, the sound of plates falling down from her uncle's room.

"Gawaatts!! I must have been found out" he screamed in his heart.

Yudha stood in place, with a stiff body and sweat beginning to pour out to contain her nervousness.
