Part 45's
The third day of the trip, the next few hours they will arrive at the destination city. Both packed things and prepared themselves, took a shower and wore clean clothes.
"Yud, soon we arrive," said Bagas reminded his sister.
"Yes, brother."
"Go get dressed and change your clothes" Bagas continued.
Yudha got out of the bed, took her clothes from her bag and walked to the bathroom.
Bagas was still lying in his place, waiting for his turn to bathe after Yudha was done.
Both are neat, to fill their free time visiting the cafeteria on the ship while waiting for time, Bagas ordered two coffee lattes and potato sticks to accompany their leisure time.
"Sister, Uncle Herman knows we're coming?" yudha asked while tasting the dish in front of her.
"No, yet" said Bagas.
Yudha stopped chewing, her gaze staring straight ahead. I don't know what was on his mind only he knew, Bagas did not respond to his sister's attitude he was busy with his drink.
Yudha turned to Bagas and said, "are you sure, my arrival does not burden the uncle's family?"
"Remain, God willing, your presence will not be a burden to them" Bagas replied in his belief.
The two finished their food and drink, and Bagas paid for the order and took Yudha around the parts of the ship that they had not yet arrived.
An hour later, there was a sound from a loudspeaker announcing that the ship would soon dock and asking passengers to get ready.
The ship has docked and docked at the dock, passengers disembark as well as the brothers. The two jostled with the other passengers towards the stairs.
When it was at the dock, the two walked to the exit while carrying their respective bags.
Yudha paused for a moment, then called out to Bagas who was walking in front of him.
"Sister!"
Bagas looked back and said, "what's the matter?"
"Do you know the address?"
Bagas shook his head, then took out a shabby piece of paper from his pants pocket. Apparently, Bagas only capitalized on guidance from the writing on the paper.
"Sister only had this, it was uncle who gave him. According to Uncle Herman's instructions, his house is around this harbor just a few meters from here."
"Let's ask the people around the port, maybe someone knows uncle" Yudha suggested
"Yes, come on, let's go." Bagas pointed at a place and there stood a man.
The two walked up to the man standing, their faces confused as the brothers visited the city for the first time.
"Excuse me sir" said Yudha
"Oh yes, can I help you?" the man replied smiling kindly.
"We're new, looking for someone at this address." Yudha handed a piece of paper to the man in front of her.
The man took the paper from Yudha's hand, then read it at a glance and smiled again.
"Herman's name is written here, if I may know who he is?" ask the man again.
"He's our uncle, he's been in the city for a long time. You knew him?" Bagas explained his uncle.
"Try to mention the characteristics, I happen to know someone with the same name" said the man.
"Hmm, his skin is tan, his body is not too tall, straight hair and has two boys." Bagas mentioned his uncle's characteristics while remembering a figure he hadn't seen for a long time.
"Sorry sir, we don't have his picture and maybe there has been a change in his physique" Bagas said
The man smiled widely, then he took something from his pocket. A flat object, deftly he turned on the phone and opened the photo gallery.
"This guy you mean?" ask him while giving his phone.
Long Bagas observed the picture on the phone screen, the face of a man who resembled his father was plastered there.
"Dad you know him?" tanya Bagas reassured again.
"Yes, we used to be in a room when he was not retired" the man replied.
"Alhamdulillah" said Bagas relieved.
They asked the right person, apparently the man knew his uncle so they were not confused anymore looking for where their Uncle was.
"Let's take you to Mr. Herman's house."
The man offered his services, of course, was welcomed by the brothers so that their journey was easier.
"What's not a hassle?" tanya Bagas.
"Of course not, I also want to meet Mr. Herman."
Due to the distance of Mr. Herman's house to the port, they decided to walk while chatting.
Yudha followed behind muttering, "what is this place? quiet like there's no life, where can I feel at home here."
Before long, the meteka had arrived in front of a simple house. The three stopped for a moment and the man said his greetings.
"Assalamualaik."
Hygiene ....
"Assalamualaikum," the second remark was then heard from the inside.
"Waalaikumussalam," A middle-aged lung woman walked out.
"Eh, there's a guest. Please come in" he said, opening the door.
Bagas was stunned, the woman in front of him did not recognize them. However, he immediately dismissed his thoughts and assumed that his uncle's wife had forgotten him as well as Yudha.
"Please sit down" he said, inviting his three guests.
It felt like he could not stand it anymore just to stay silent and wait, Bagas immediately asked the old woman in front of him.
"Uncle Herman is Bi?"
The woman had not answered, she scanned Bagas' face closely for a few seconds then she suddenly smiled widely.
"You're good?!" exclaims
"Yes, Bi. Uncle ada?" Bagas repeated his question.
The woman's face turned softly, then cast a glance in any direction.
"Something the aunt's been hiding?" inner Bagas
"Your uncle is in the room, go inside" he said weakly.
A second later his gaze turned to look at Yudha and said, "are you Yudha, Bagas' sister?"
"Yes, Bi."
Bagas and Yudha got up from their seats, both greeting their uncle's wife whose body was visibly frail.
"How are you? you're all grown up now, aunty forgot and barely recognized you" said the old woman.
"Alhamdulillah, we are good Bi, as you see now," replied Bagas.
"How is the story you got to meet your uncle's best friend?" tanyanya was curious while pointing at the man who came with her two bangs.
"So, at the port we looked for the uncle's address and met this Father" Bagas explained as he threw a smile at the man.
"Oh, thank goodness. You met the right guy."
"Uncle is in the room, you two go inside" said the Aunt told her husband's parents.
They stood up and stepped into the room that his aunt had appointed. However, Bagas' feelings became alarmed given his aunt's reaction when she asked about her uncle.
"Sister, my feelings are not good" whispered Yudha.
"Sama, sister is too." The whispering bag.
The second step seems so heavy, plus the atmosphere of a quiet house makes the hearts of both more unwary.
