The Part 14
In the afternoon Fadli came, did not forget to bring his wife's order of hot sauce meatballs favorite.
Like a child who is excited to get a new toy, Masyitah soared with excitement when Fadli offered his favorite food.
Fadli smiled faintly, it was not difficult if he wanted to take his wife's heart enough to be treated to meatball dumplings for sure he melted.
"You?" masyitah asked with a smile and tilted her head
"No, for you I am still full" replied Fadli
"Hmm, don't tease me Ita, I'll make you unable to walk" Fadli murmured inwardly
Masyitah ate so voraciously, without caring about the surrounding including his mother who came and stood around in front of him.
"Well, it's delicious you Ita, eat alone and don't offer it to mama" said Murni
Masyitah choked, his mother's voice made him surprised because it was too greedy to realize the presence of his mother.
"Ah, mama always just like that, can in a day mama not surprise me?"
"You who are too serious to eat until the rich people are possessed so, when you do not hear mama coming huh?"
"Oh my God, of course if you eat should focus mah," objected Masyitah
Fadli smiled amusedly at the debate of two different generations of women in front of him, a unique sight that he had never met in his family.
"Fad, your wife is stingy mama was not invited" Murni told her daughter-in-law
"Mama wants to too? I'll buy it again then." Fadli was about to move but Pure directly prevented it.
"Here, later mama invites papa to be more romantic to eat together there," said Murni with a smile.
"Mama know the place?" ask Fadli
"Hmm, not yet."
"Hhaahaha, huu style want to ngajak papa even though it does not know where the place is."
Masyitah chuckled, his mother was really funny and even silly according to him.
"It's not the same old man" said Fadli, who felt sorry for his mother-in-law.
"Finally funny mama, should ask first to buy where you just took papa there," he replied
"Look at your wife's behavior Fadli, always laughing at my mom," Pure argued
"Yes, mah, forgive Ita yes," said Fadli
"Mama's going out, just watch out for ita mama's going to whip you at papa."
Pure left the dining room and looked for where her husband was, leaving her son and daughter-in-law there.
After the death of his father-in-law, Fadli advised Masyitah not to repeat his actions to his mother-in-law
"Next time don't be like that, mom, however she's your mom we have to respect."
Masyitah was silent and stunned, not expecting the man in front of him turned out to be so mature his thinking was really unexpected that thought Fadli was a spoiled man because he was born from a rich family.
"Have you taken a shower?" Fadli switched the conversation after seeing his wife's reaction
"No, not yet" said Masyitah then resumed his meal
"Well, that's great, we take a bath together." Fadli raised his eyebrows
"You, don't start again!" Masyitah took off his spoon and wanted to move but was immediately prevented by Fadli
"Eh, slow baby, I'm just kidding" Fadli said in a panic
Masyitah mood is often up and down and can change in an instant, of course Fadli must be more patient with it.
"Huufh almost, Fadli do not wake the sleeping lion later you bother yourself," Fadli said
Masyitah had finished eating, then she washed the bowl and spoon she was wearing after that took her husband out and sat on the porch.
Slowly Fadli began to recognize the character of his wife, by which he had to learn more and understand how to deal with the attitude of Masyitah who sometimes still childish
The beginning of their marriage that is not based on love, of course, must learn to know each other. As a husband Fadli must carry out his role as best as possible.
"Yes, do you have any future plans for our household?" Fadli started the conversation
"I don't have a plan yet, you?" She asked her husband back.
"I will continue papa's business, he will be old while my sister who prefers to continue her studies" replied Fadli at length
For a moment Masyitah was silent, his heart was tingled when he heard Fadli tell about his sister-in-law who easily got permission to continue his education.
"Your sister is so lucky huh, whatever her wishes are all filled I envy her."
Masyitah's gaze was straight ahead, his facial water instantly changed and his eyes glazed over.
Fadli began to realize it, it seemed that Masiyitah had a dream that he wanted to realize but was hindered by the blessing of his parents.
Carefully Fadli asked that Masyitah not be offended.
"Before marrying me, did you have any unrealized desires?"
"I want to go to college, but papa forbids and even betroth me to you" said Masyitah
Fadli was stunned, apparently Masyitah's desire was so great for college and Fadli wanted to realize his wife's dreams and ideals.
"Ita, back when I was in college, a lot of my friends were married but they continued their education. Are you interested?" tawang Fadli's
"It's too late, I've buried my ideals." there was a desperate tone from Masyitah's words
Fadli sighed, not wanting to continue the discussion about the lecture because he did not want to make Masyitah sad.
"Come on, we're almost magrib in," asked Fadli
The two went into the room, they took turns to enter the bathroom and then prepare to pray magrib.
After dinner, the residents of the house enter their rooms. Masyitah was already asleep while Fadli was still contemplating thinking about Masyitah's speech this afternoon.
"Why are Masyitah's parents so selfish, don't they think about their child's feelings? Though they were actually able to send Ita to school," Fadli murmured
Throughout the night Fadli thought about how to persuade Masyitah so that he would continue his studies, that way he might be able to prove his affection for his wife.
"Tomorrow I try again to persuade him, may his heart melt and follow my advice,"
After a long battle with his mind, Fadli finally fell asleep while hugging his wife's body.
The morning prayer of the couple woke up, both of them cleaned themselves and prepared for the congregational dawn prayer.
After the prayer, Fadli kept Masyitah in his position to discuss the plan he had thought of last night.
"Ita, I hope you still want to continue education as your previous ideals," said Fadli
"You mean?" masyitah asked furrowing her brows in confusion
"Yes, I was already planning to enroll you to the University. The matter of cost is my business" replied Fadli
Let's just shut up for a moment and then open his voice, "but I'm married."
"A lot of people like you, Ita, are married but still continue their studies. Marriage doesn't get in the way of an ideal, does it?"
"Later think," said Masyitah
Deep down, Masyitah was thrilled to hear the offer from her husband. But she felt bad if she had to be a burden on her husband later who had to spend a lot for her.
