Episode 71

It was still at the location of the existence of the Dimensional formation created by Xiao Fu with Kuruna. Zaid looked dumbfounded and Ordorus pinched his thigh, not believing it was real.

...Sacred Valley: cultivator starting point ...

...Episode 71. Final match...

Kuruna immediately looked away when Zaid looked at her fixedly. Xiao Chi nudged Zaid on the shoulder and whispered, "it's a code for you which means you managed to grab his attention. Congratulations!"

Zaid smiled, "Hey, I won't be killed that easily!"

"I'm glad you didn't get killed back, but I'd rather see you back with a broken arm or leg" Ordorus sneered. But ...

"Zaid, try to get back safely, no matter if you break a hand or a leg! Me and some medicine boxes will be waiting for you!" kuruna shouted, then ran away from her place away, because her cheeks had met red to the maximum.

"Kuruna?" ordorus asked in shock.

Xiao Fu immediately closed their chatter by expending the power to open the portal. "All of you, we're leaving."

"Good way and hopefully bring Pete back safely!" say them.

The six chosen ones started to enter the portal, while the others waited around it.

Meanwhile, in Pedestal's dimension, an explosion occurred somewhere. Pete is still alive. His body was shrouded in a strange force that acted as a shield.

'Skelefang Soul: Pseudo-shield'

Pete praised. "The time is right, Goddess."

"It's not me you should praise, it should be me who praises you. I just activated it and you're the one who used it, Pete," Chang'e said

Pete noticed the pseudo-shield he had just used. "Strong armor, yet fragile."

"Although it is easily fragile, but quickly formed again" said the Goddess.

"Able to survive an attack? You must die!" shouted Pedestal growled.

Chang'e immediately notified the situation on the ground. "Pete, your sword is still stuck in Pedestal's body. As long as you can buy time and prevent Pedestal from pulling out that sword, I'm sure Pedestal will lose so much of his spiritual energy."

"Yes. I'll do it!"

Pete stood back up, then created a pseudo wing on his back.

'Skelefang Soul:Strue wings!'

"You think with wings you can beat me? Dream there! Die you!"shouted Pedestal.

'Infiltrant dimension'

Pedestal soon infiltrates another dimension putting Pete on standby.  There was a chance that the monster would appear suddenly behind him and hit him. 

As expected, the monster appeared behind Pete and was about to attack him. However, Pete immediately dodged the attack.

"Damn it! Are there eyes on your back?"

"You'd better give up, Pedestal."

"Rush up? Heh! I'm not giving up!"

"Pete, keep passing the time "

"Yes." Yeah."

'The stab of a thousand dragon spears!'

Pete immediately thrust the spear forward quickly, even though he knew such an attack would not have a major effect.

"Tch! You should have learned a lot. You think your attack could hurt me?".

However, a moment later Pedestal began to notice it. "Damn it, why does my spiritual energy keep shrinking? Is it not because of the Sword that struck this?"

Pedestal immediately moved about to retract, but Pete immediately slid in front of his face about to stab his eyes which made the dragon gasp.

The Dragon immediately paused to pull out the sword and turned to attack Pete.

Pete immediately dodged. Then, it moved to attack Pedestal from the other direction. In essence, Pete did whatever it took to divert the Pedestal View that was then beginning to realize his spiritual energy was being absorbed so much.

"Damn it! My spiritual energy is being absorbed by this damn sword!" pedestal shouted furiously as he grabbed the sword and threw it towards Pete.

Pete instead of dodging, grabbed the sword, but the sword was sliding at high speed. "You're late to realize it, Pedestal."

"Huh, you think with your cunning tactics, you'll be considered a hero? Heh, to me, you're just a loser!"

"Hahaha, you better think about how you can survive the explosion of my area. I'm dead, you're dead too!"

Pedestal immediately prepared to blow himself up which made Chang'e panic.

"Pete, blow up Changseng Jue, now!"

Pete immediately picks up the necklace making the Goddess start to turn a blind eye, thinking Pete would . But he is surprised that Pete grabs his tiny body and takes it into his arms while creating a pseudo Shield ball that covers Pete's body so thickly.

"Pete, what are you doing? Your pseudo-shield won't be strong!"

Pedestal's body exploded! All areas were destroyed by the explosion. In fact, the pseudo-shield that enveloped Pete's body was eroded and Pete was again severely injured, especially his back. However Chang'e in his arms was fine

"I told you, I would never sacrifice you."

Chang'e started hugging Pete, but he was so tiny. "Basic stupid! You're doing this."

A spear suddenly struck not far from their position. 

"The spear ..." Chang'e suddenly remembered the spear.

"What spear is that?"

"It's the Pope's weapon! No wonder I feel Pedestal is so familiar. Apparently an heirloom spirit that has a body."

Pete started pulling the Spear. It was so easy for Pete to unplug that the Goddess was surprised instead of playing. Pete kept it immediately. "This spear is mine now."

Suddenly, the dimension began to collapse.

"Wine! Pete, we gotta get out of here!"

"Go from here? The way?" ask Pete who's sitting on the tree trunk. He himself has resigned.

Goddess Chang'e fell silent. He doesn't know how to go back at all. The Goddess began to move and sat on Pete's shoulder, following his resignation with what was to come.

Pete chuckles slowly. "We're going to die together." 

Chang'e sighed softly. "We'll die together here, unless a miracle happens." Pete starts grabbing Chang'e and plays her like a little doll.

"Pete, you-"

"Let us be like this before we're really killed."

Pete looked up. A huge Dimensional shard began to fall about to hit the two of them. 

But no one expected that suddenly a shawl rolled so quickly around Pete with Chang'e with such a tight bond and helped him like a lemper .

Pete is then pulled towards the source of the owner of the shawl before the large Dimensional shard actually hits him. Apparently, reinforcements arrived, just in time.

"Where did that fucking Pedestal go?"

"I've killed him" said Pete lightly leaving them all dumbfounded!  "Come, we should be right back. This dimension is about to collapse!"

"Ah? Oh, yep! Pete's right! Everybody, get inside the portal. Hurry along!"

They jump into the portal and they immediately move.

A day later, Pete opened his eyes. He found himself in the same room. Goddess Chang'e was also asleep beside him. 

"This? Maybe I fainted."

Pete tries to stand up, but he staggers and falls to kiss the floor.

Pete tried to stand up, but his delicate hands grabbed his body and laid him back on the treatment bed. "You're still not fully healed, how dare you get out of bed."

"First brother?" Pete was shocked because he was the one who helped him

He's expressing it so cold. "Hmm, I'm going first."

"Wait!" Pete blocks her hand, but is soon pushed aside. 

"Sorry, you don't have access to me, and you'd better get some rest."

Pete sighed softly as he watched him leave. She felt she would never forgive herself.

Goddess Chang'e also felt guilty. If this continues, gradually Pete's smile will be lost in him and will make himself look more sad. There's a chance Pete's gonna be a loner.
