Raven, Jack, Shara, and Alicia arrive at the Handerson family home to visit Micah. They know, with Raven, Micah should have been willing to let go with a request to open the door. Raven felt doubtful, then started moving to knock on the door.
"Well, it's me. Please, open the door" said Raven. But after doing the same thing three times, there was no response at all in the room.
"Is Micah asleep?" shara asked in surprise. I was surprised because the door was unlocked.
They immediately entered Micah's room, finding it messy and his belongings strewn on the floor. Even some of Micah's favorite items like her books and her favorite clothes are gone from her place.
"It's impossible, isn't it?" alicia asked with a sob. The food she was carrying now fell to the floor, feeling that Micah must have gone as Jack had thought.
Raven and Shara try to find out where Micah is, but are unable to find any trace of him. They search around town, check in with Micah's friends, even trying to find clues from anyone Micah has ever met.
However, Raven is suddenly met by a Letter carrier, who delivers a letter to Raven. It's from Micah.
'To Raven Kane,
Hi, Raven! I hope you're in good shape. Sorry if this is too sudden, but I have to tell you this. I left Sharance, looking for my origins. So, I left for so long. I hope you don't think too much about it, I know who you are and how you are.
I can only give you a short message like this, sorry. I have to go, so don't be sad. At a minimum you can still continue the day as usual.
Greetings, Micah'
Meanwhile, Jack and Alicia cry and mourn Micah's departure. They feel remorse for not realizing that Micah feels alienated and overwhelmed by the secrets and lies hidden from him. They feel very lost because Micah is a good brother and very valuable to both of them.
Eventually, Raven, Jack, Shara, and Alicia must accept the fact that Micah has left and is unlikely to return. They promise to keep finding out where Micah is and try to help if Micah needs their help.
------------
Micah continues his journey west with great zeal and hope to discover his origins. He moved around trying to get through the Privera forest. After many days of walking, he finally arrived at a small house located in the middle of the forest.
After making sure there was no danger, Micah approached the house and knocked on the door. No one answered, so Micah tried to open the door, and was surprised when it opened easily.
As he entered, he saw a neatly decorated room, with a chair and a small table in the middle. There was no sign of the occupants of the house, but he felt that something was catching his attention behind the open door.
He followed his instincts and entered the room, where he saw a young woman sleeping in bed. The woman awakens when Micah enters the room, and she is immediately embarrassed by the shock.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you. I'm looking for a place to stay tonight" Micah said politely.
Micah was relieved and thanked the young woman. He began to feel comfortable and decided to take a short break after his long journey.
However, during his stay, Micah felt that there was something strange about the young woman. He felt that something was wrong with the way he spoke and moved. But he couldn't be sure what was wrong.
The next morning, Micah thanked the woman and continued his journey west. However, when he tried to recall the place he was staying at, he could not remember the woman's name or face. Micah does not realize that the figure of the woman he meets is actually a kitsune figure who preys on people passing by in the forest.
Micah is mute forever because he never realizes that he has interacted with a terrifying mythical figure. The kitsune's existence seems to disappear from his memory and Micah never knew that he had become a victim of the mythical creature.
Micah began to panic when he was unable to make the slightest sound. The old man's prophecy turns out to be proven, Micah has been mute for no apparent reason.
Micah continues his journey with a lethargic and bewildered heart as he has no idea what has happened during his stay at the young woman's house last night. He tried to look back and find answers to the incident.
Micah felt that it was possible that the incident happened because of the combination of magic power and cultivation he had. However, he was aware that such abilities were unlikely to affect his memory or render him unaware of the danger.
Eventually, Micah decides to enter his subconscious and try to talk to anyone who might be able to give him an answer to the incident. He meditated and pondered deeply, trying to enter his subconscious with focus and calmness.
After a while, Micah felt a strange presence in his subconscious. He felt that something was watching him, and he spoke with a conscience in his mind.
"Who are you?" micah asked gently.
"You don't need to know who I am. All you have to know is that I've been here since you were born. For this, I popped into your mind to give you a warning about the danger that begged you" replied the voice in Micah's mind.
Micah was shocked and frightened, but he remained calm and asked the voice further. "What other dangers will be lurking in me?"
"Your voice, you've been made mute and I can't help you. You should know that the woman yesterday was a Kitsune figure who really likes ignorance of humans, no matter the bad or good of the person," said the figure.
"So, the girl is ... Kitsune?" micah asked again, trying to make sure.
"That's because you're not careful at all. Now, enjoy your suffering, for you cannot recover without action" said the figure who suddenly began to blur from view.
"So, should I accept this harsh reality?" micah asked feeling unwilling.
"It's going on forever, Micah. But if you are a man, you should not cry like a woman and consider this a challenge on your journey as a Freelancer (world traveler) to find your origin, and do not worry, I'm here as a protector of his life, where if you get killed, I'll swap my soul to resurrect" said the figure, who then completely disappeared.
In the brief conversation, Micah finally learns that the young woman he met last night is a fearsome kitsune. Micah also did not expect the old man's prophecy to come true. However, the rice had become porridge, she would never cry like a woman, and she would continue her journey to find out her origin, no matter what.
