CHAPTER 39
Like a happy person, Ana had bought a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruits to bring to Keyla. For Ana today is the first day for her and Keyla to meet, hopefully this will be a good start for them to be close and can make Alex and Keyla's relationship improve.
For over a year, Ana had never seen Keyla's face. But he believes Alex's woman of choice is never bad. With a very happy heart Ana enters the hospital that has been sent address and also the room where Keyla is being treated. Ana is really looking forward to meeting the woman who has taken half of Alex's life.
Not waiting for long, Ana opened the door of the room where Keyla was being treated.
"Hi brother Alex." Ana approaches Alex and gives up her luggage.
"Thank you, Ana."
"Sir, wa-jah ka-kak-in-law?" Ana looked at Alex confusedly.
"I slapped him."
"What?!"
Ana does not believe in Alex's statement, really she does not believe Alex could play hands to his wife. It's only natural that Keyla can't stand Alex and chooses to leave him.
"Sister Alex should be self-conscious, brother already hurt sister-in-law. Alex's brother doesn't deserve a brother-in-law." Ana is angry and disgusted by Alex's treatment. For him a man who likes to play hands is indeed more worthy to be left behind, not defended.
"I know I was wrong."
"Sister-in-law is very beautiful" Ana said, staring at Keyla's calm face.
"True, Keyla is very pretty. Help me Ana get my wife back" Alex asked Ana, then she looked at Keyla.
"So Alex's sister slapped brother-in-law like this?" ana asked, and was answered with a nod from Alex.
"Help me Ana, this time. I promise you, after this you can take a week off."
"Seriously?" ask Ana happy. And Alex replied back with a nod.
During their conversation Ana's phone gets a message notification, she opens the screen to see who sent her the message. Not yet had Ana open the screen of her phone, she looked back at the phone.
"Nicholas?" ask Ana in her heart.
"Why not get lifted? Just lift it up. Who knows how important." Secretly Alex notices Ana who is like a confused person.
Since the one who contacted her was Nicholas, Ana could not possibly speak inside. He came out of Keyla's room to pick up the phone from Nicholas.
"Yes Nicho, what's wrong?" ask Ana who answered the phone.
"Ana, I'm asking you to be honest. Is Keyla with Alex now?" nicholas asked from the phone.
"Yes" Ana answered honestly. It is impossible for him to lie, yet Keyla has been guarded by Nicholas.
"Send me the address where you are now, I've come to Alex's house. The guard said he hasn't been home since this morning."
"Relax Nicho, here I will take good care of my sister-in-law. S**o sorry yes, I can't tell you where we are now. Anyway Sister-in-law is safe."
"But-"
Not yet had Nicholas to continue the question, Ana cut the connection. He won't until Alex finds out he's talking to Nicholas.
Especially about Nicholas who is looking for the existence of Keyka.
"Ana, I'm gonna take Keyla for a second."
"Where are you going?" ask Ana.
Not waiting for what answer Ana would answer, Alex walked quickly towards the exit.
"Where else is this?" keyla asked hoarsely, he was already conscious. Ana's approaching soon.
Smiling with pleasure because Ana had just heard Keyla's voice, Ana approached Keyla. Not answering what Keyla was asking, Ana hugged Keyla instead.
"Who are you?" asked Keyla confused. Then holding her head dizzy, Keyla remembers that Alex slapped her until she lost consciousness.
"Know me Ana, Alex's cousin."
"Aw, that's sore." Keyla complained when she accidentally grabbed her right cheek.
"Who brought me here?" asked Keyla confused.
"Sister Alex." Ana replied casually with her innocent pretentious smile.
"He brought me here? Why didn't he just kill me to death."
After Keyla uttered like that, the room went silent. Ana does not know what to answer, she also condemns Alex's actions. Because even though Alex loves Keyla, but not by violence. The way Alex got Keyla back was wrong, the way Alex did instead made Keyla more distant from him.
Ana walked up to Keyla, then she looked at Keyla's face. The look from her eyes was clear that now Keyla was injured.
"Sister-in-law, I beg you brother-in-law. Please forgive Alex."
"For what?" asked Keyla sharply. Not angry, but he felt annoyed with Ana who defended Alex and told him to go back to the man who had hurt him many times.
"We're both women, so I understand how big brother-in-law feels now. I-i promise. If you reach Alex's sister-in-law again, I will intervene to take care of your separation," Ana said confidently.
Ana took in a breath that sounded so heavy. "Please, don't refuse it again. Sister-in-law never knew what Alex's been through all this time. Even he looks like a madman who lost his brain to think."
"Where is he now? I want to talk to him, ", said Keyla flatly.
Is it true what Ana said? In fact, he did not see any change from the husband he had ever lived. Alex should be able to change his rude attitude, and also the attitude that likes to humble Keyla.
"Wait, I'll call Alex's brother."
Ana reaches into her cell phone to contact Alex. He also wants all the problems that are being faced by Keyla and Alex dissolved. However, just now Ana dialed Alex's phone number the man had returned.
"Sweet you're sober?" Alex walked quickly to Keyla. His face turned into a happier look, than it had previously looked like a person who had a lot of burdens.
"Stop!" Keyla Mehan Alex hugged her. "Never touch me again" Keyla's words were so firm, she made a protection for herself that Alex would not approach her.
"What's wrong?"
"I want us to talk."
Keyla stared intently at Alex who was staring before him.
"Ana you stay here," hold Keyla who realizes Ana is walking towards the door to get out.
"No, you guys"
"Father Ana, you don't go out" said Alex, who understood Keyla's will.
Slowly Alex approached the spot where Keyla was still lying. Alex ventured to touch Keyla's hand, but Keyla quickly pulled her hand and looked at Alex sharply, meaning she really did not want to be touched by Alex.
