BLUE PLANET

BLUE PLANET
SUPERVISED

Venera was so nervous that she barely dared to move. His hand, which he placed beside his plate on the table, suddenly felt very heavy. Venera took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. While keeping his head down, he slowly digested back the strange feeling he was feeling. The feeling as if being stared at, from the direction of the Queen's throne. But he could not prove it, because it was very unlikely he looked back at the Queen. He could be severely punished.

And when he was confused about what to do, suddenly the feeling changed. Spreading more and more as if flowing to all corners of the room. Now Venera felt like he was being stared at simultaneously by all the venusians who were inside the great hall!

Venera's body stiffened.

What's the matter?

Venera slowly glanced left and right as far as he could, in a very subtle gesture, to prove whether it was true that everything was staring at him.

The smooth clink of the sound of the cutlery clashing with the plate was still heard around him. None of the venusians included his best friend, Vla, who was not looking down at each plate and finished his food in silence. That should be the case, as this is the time of Queen Ishtar's visit. There will be no venusian who dares to act like things or deliberately provoke a commotion by doing anything. Everything looks orderly.

Then then... this feeling...What is this feeling??

Venera really felt as if he was being observed by something that made him unable to dodge. Can't hide. The taste that he initially believed came from the direction of the podium where the throne of Queen Ishtar was located, and then spread as if coming from all corners of the room.

He could not prove some of his feelings because of the prohibition to look at the Queen's face. But as he glanced in the direction of the other venusians, none of them were staring at him either.

Venera was getting confused.

“You why Venera?  Are you sick?” Vla touched Venera's forehead as the two of them were already inside the room. “You've been quiet since you finished dinner last night.”

“Ah, it's okay Vla. I'm just a little tired,” Venera replied with a smile.

"But you look a little pale, Venera." Vla looked at Venera's face closely.

"B...really?" venera replied a little nervously.

“Hmm. Maybe that's the result if you play out there too often," said Vla still while staring at Venera.

"Ehm. maybe you're right" Venera replied immediately, hoping Vla would not keep on observing her.

"You also often forget time, but I always remind you. And as a result became exhausted from running around here and there,” vla's nag. “You want me to get you some medicine? Or I'll take you upstairs, to the Health Room?"

"No, thanks Vla.” Venera shook her head and began to lie down on her bed. “Maybe it's better if I just sleep now.”

"Well," said Vla, helping to pull the Venera blanket rolled up at the end of the bed and spread it over the entire body of Venera. "Good sleep, Venera" he said.

"Thank you, Vla" Venera said. " Good sleep too."

The night was getting late and Venera still did not feel sleepy. He just pretended to sleep so that Vla did not ask him much until Vla fell asleep on his bed.

It's not that he doesn't want to talk to Vla like they used to do before going to bed. But Venera was worried he would miss talking about the mysterious park.

He looked at the night sky up there closely. Look around for the thirteen stars that Marxists said were in the park.   All this time he always looked at the sky every time he went to sleep. But there is no form of star formation as described by Marxists.

Is the sky on Venus different from the sky on Mars? How could?

It felt like Venera was going out and lying in an open meadow; looking for the location of the Pegasus-shaped star.  Too bad it couldn't be done. He may be punished for breaking the curfew.

Shown again in Venera's memory of the horrific incident this afternoon. He almost slipped off a cliff and fell into the pool. I don't know what would happen to him if he fell from such a height. Fortunately, Marxists came to his rescue and rescue.

Suddenly Venera's stomach again felt turbulent, as he felt at dinner last night. Just before the 'like being watched' feeling ambushed him. The top of his stomach felt strange, like there were living things wriggling in it.

Maybe this is due to the shock of the fall, Venera thought she did not understand.

He sighed, and tilted his body. Then close your eyes tightly trying to sleep.

Venera was chin-backed on top of her toolbox as she stared at the colorful thread scrolls strewn across her workbench inside the Skill Room.

All this time he always liked the thread. In fact, he often spent a long time just to look at the beautiful colors, paying attention to the fine fibers that make up each strand of yarn. Things that often provoke laughter and the head of his friends. 'Venera who pay too much attention to everything', according to them.

But now that he had seen far more amazing colors in the garden, his thread rolls were no longer encouraging him. They looked pale and very unattractive.

Venera looked out the window staring into the distance. His mind drifted into the atmosphere within the mysterious garden.

Imagine shady green trees, brightly colored flowers, streams of water falling into ponds, beautiful animals in the water, then….

“Venera...” whispered Vla at his side while taking a quick glance - giving a sign, towards the Skill Division Supervisory Board who was looking towards the two of them.

Venera regained his senses from his daydream and immediately tried to re-concentrate on the wide cloth hanging from his arm, waiting to be finished.

“You were daydreaming what, Venera?” vla asked curiously as they exited the Great Hall after lunch.

“No daydreaming, Vla,” replied Venera briefly with a smile.

He then took a seat in one corner of the Rest Room that jutted out; leaning against a large window sill and sticking out his head, catching the breeze that gently whipped out strands of her golden hair that were unraveling.

“You must have been impatient to play out huh?” guess Vla knows.

Venera laughed a little. “You know it, Vla.”

“Hmpp.” Vla grunts softly. “Of course I know. Hmm... indeed you are not bored huh, every day walk outside continue?”

Venera shook her head quickly. “Of course not. And you yourself, it is not bored huh, in the dorm continuously?” balas Venera's.

“I wasn't inside continuously all day,” denied Vla. “Every morning and afternoon at rest like this, often are we outside? Play in the park and sit around on the edge of the meadow.”

“Yes, you're right." Venera nodded. But I mean, don't you ever want to know what's out there, Vla?  I mean, beyond the confines of the places we've always been?” asked Venera while looking at Vla.

Vla shook her head lightly. “No.”

“Or what things can we find far away at the end there?” ask Venera again.

“No.” Vla is back.

“You don't want to know how wide Venus we live in is this?” Venera raised her eyebrows.

“No," replied Vla confidently and raised an eyebrow back towards Venera.

“Hmmp.” Venera replace grunt.

“Hey, what does that snort mean?” Vla glared then threw the small flower arrangement in her hand towards Venera.

“Hahaha!” Venera dodged and threw back the flower arrangement and ran away from Vla.
