BLUE PLANET
ADVENTURE OF VENERA

“Where are you going, Venera?” ask Vla without looking. His attention was focused on the strand of stone flower necklace he had just finished making. Carefully insert the necklace into a small glass box, then place it in a large glass cabinet that merges with the glass wall behind it.

“As usual, Vla,” replied Venera while sitting on the floor, busy tying her footwear strap.

“Ah, you are this. Always can not be silent,” Vla pretends to complain, while hiding a smile on her lips.

“Good weather like this would be a pity to be missed,” replied Venera cheerfully.

Then Venera looked over with a cheerful face. “You won't come, Vla?” ask his best friend.

“Of course not.” Vla rolled her eyes with a funny face.

“Ahahaha!” venera Gelak. “Alright then.”

Then Venera stood with a radiant face, looking out, through the boundary of the great gate before him.

“I go first yes!” he shouted while waving and just ran.

”Do not arrive late for dinner, Venera!” shout Vla. “Let's get punished again!”

“Quietly, Vla!” Venera answered while running. “See you later!”

“Always excited yeah, your best friend it.” Visca stood next to Vla, looking at the figure of Venera who had drifted away.

“That's. I also don't think.“ Vla shook her head. “Looks like no day without a walk for him.”

“I remembered what happened a few weeks ago.” Voxy came while giggling amusedly. ”When Venera came home late for dinner so that she could not clean herself, then she appeared at the door of the Great Hall in dirty clothes and a thorny bush stuck in her hair.”

"ahaha! Yes yes, I remember once," Vla laughed amusedly. "I was really worried waiting for him."

“Then the Head of the Board of Dormitory Board gave him the punishment of washing the dresses of all residents of West Dormitory Eosphorus,” continued Vicca. “That means two hundred and fifty pieces of clothing that should be completed that night as well.”

“And it was all because he was mired into a valley after trying to see what was at the bottom. Really ridiculous. Why did he find out what was at the bottom of the valley? Yes of course there are ‘basic valley’ right?” Vla raises her head. “His feeling is huge, that Venera.”

Voxy and Vicca laughed.

“But to my surprise, Venera can always do her daily tasks quickly; with the best results. Even Vreya from Hesperus Dormitory couldn't beat his grades. He is really clever,” said Voxy amazed.

“You're right. She is also very beautiful, soft and kind,” Vicca said.

“Of course.” Vla smiles proudly at the praise her friends have for her best friend. “He's my best friend.”

The vast yellowish-green meadows decorated with white stone flower stalks welcomed Venera's steps after passing through the Great Gate of Eosphorus Dormitory.

Both of his legs ran agilely across the small, winding path that connects the front yard of Eosphorus Dormitory with Hesperus Dormitory.

Vanda the Gatekeeper of Hesperus Dormitory greeted from a distance. “Hei, Venera! Traveling as usual!”

Venera laughed cheerfully and waved while still running. This is not a walk. It's called adventure, he answered inwardly and kept going without reducing speed.

His nimble legs carried him away to the glass dome roof of the two large towering buildings where he had begun his journey were nowhere to be seen.

The back end of her white dress swept the sandy dry soil along the way.

His face was red with the cold north wind.

A short-horned young unicorn galloping across cut the path.

“Halo, Beautiful!” Venera greets him while ditching his run, giving the unicorn a chance to pass first.

The unicorn galloped slightly as it nodded its head in reply to Venera's greeting, then passed.

Venera ran back. His two arms stretched out, as if trying to catch the roar of the wind that was blowing gently against his running direction.

Sometimes he jumps small to avoid the white stone flowers are scattered so as not to be stepped on by it.

This time a red pixie flew low nearby while whistling. Venera laughed happily and hummed following the tone sung by the pixie.

And finally Venera arrived at a small hill, where he used to end his adventures every afternoon.

The final point where he had to stop to return to the dormitory; before a dark shadow enveloped the ground.

It stands right at the top of the hill, breathing in and glancing in all directions. Everything always looked beautiful and pleasant in her eyes.

The vast sky stretches dotted with patches of white clouds that form a variety of unique patterns, some of which are trees with mostly leafless branches, the line of the Ceres River with a slight flow of sparkling water in the distance was struck by the afternoon sun, and ...

Eh? Whatisit?

Venera squinted at a tree that was located quite far from the hill where he stood.

For a moment he thought his eyes were disturbed due to being too tired to run. But after several times turned his gaze in the other direction and saw him again, it turned out that his eyes were not wrong.

Under the lowest branches of the tree, there was a small part of the air that was surging. Moving like water ripples. How strange.

Venera looked towards the east. The sun was almost setting in its horizon line.

Then he immediately measured the distance. Guess how far the tree is with the undulating air, then think.

If now he ran there to see, then soon to return, would he arrive just before dinner? He had never gone that far before, for all his life he had made this small hill the final frontier of his adventure. Because if he goes any further, he's worried about breaking the dorm curfew. After all, the land across the hill is more barren and hot. No grass grows there. But the surging air made him very curious.

And finally after failing to fight his curiosity, Venera ran down from the hill.

But unfortunately after he arrived at the place of the tree, the air that moved like water ripples was no longer there.

Venera walked around the tree. Searching the ground. Jump around to see between long thin branches that protrude cross over the head. But nothing is visible. Though he was sure he had seen something unnatural in the empty air. Venera blinked her eyes and tried to look carefully in all directions. Still no results.

Finally tired, he leaned against the tree trunk.

And immediately fell.
