BLUE PLANET

BLUE PLANET
QUEEN ISHTAR AND KING ARES

King Ares tapped his black boots made of thick leather on a white glass floor. His large, muscular arms rested on the glass table in front of him. He straightened his back tensely on a white glass chair that became visibly frail when occupied by his large body. His eyes squinted sharply at the glass slab in the middle of the room; watching something drawn on the surface of the slab with a huff. His lips were committed to us without sound, like he was about to issue a rude curse that he had to hold for some reason.

While next to her, standing with a graceful and dignified posture, Queen Ishtar was wearing a long white star-studded dress. Both of his arms folded across his chest. A smile rose on his lips, accompanying the glare of his sparkling eyes showing happiness; or rather, satisfaction, seeing what had happened to the glass plate.

“You must think this is a success, Ishtar?” King Ares snorted at the end of his sentence.

“Yes, of course, Ares." Queen Ishtar nodded proudly without looking over. "And you, do you still consider this a failure?” ask her in a light yet meaningful tone.

King Ares again snorted with rage.

“I know. You who greatly exalt power and power, must be disappointed with the results that we get today,” said Queen Ishtar.

“It's definitely. And you, yourself, must be so pleased with the existence of two beings who are so in love with each other that they dare to ignore and even refuse orders. Defeating other desires just for the sake of maintaining their love?” reply King Ares cynical.

“That's for sure,” replied Queen Ishtar while holding back laughter looking at the annoyed expression on King Ares' face.

“Good. Just wait for the next chance, I'll win. This is the first pair of nuclei. Don't be complacent, Ishtar" said King Ares.

“For now, of course I will be content, Ares." Queen Ishtar waved her clasped fingers in front of her lips, as if trying to cover up an almost unbearable laugh. "Don't be upset that way. Maybe because your explanation yesterday was less persuasive..."

"Hmphs. That's because the boy is weak. It's easy to get persuaded. Though the values of physical activity are very good," grumbled King Ares.

"Maybe it's not your weak child. But my son is too strong, so he is easily persuaded and influenced" Queen Ishtar said calmly. "Patience. Maybe the result will be different in the next nuclei."

Will they meet so soon?" King Ares turned sharply towards Queen Ishtar.

"Ah... Ares" said Queen Ishtar. "Why are you asking me that? We have no idea when or where they will meet. We can't even figure out which partner is next to be 'open'."

"Sama-sama doesn't know? Huh," King Ares threw away his face with a mocking smile on his lips. "I doubt that very much, Ishtar. I just donated a part of myself. After that, I know what you're doing secretly. You own this place." King Ares raised his head.

"Thumbles?" Queen Ishtar laughed. "That's an unwise selection of words, Ares. We both have an equal share in this."

"the equivalent? I don't think so." King Ares shakes. "You have more big decisions in your hands."

"Ah, I don't think so," Queen Ishtar replied calmly as she shook her head.

"I'm sure you decided on this yourself!" said King Ares loudly while pointing towards the glass slab.

"That's because in my opinion, there will be no good results from an act that is done by force," Queen Ishtar replied quickly.

"At the very least, tell me before you kidnap my martial arts all of a sudden from his place!" king Ares said annoyed.

"Kidnap? Oh, my God, your words are so rude." Queen Ishtar smiled. "I didn't kidnap her all of a sudden. I've done it the way I should. Very carefully. There will be no questions, sorrow or heartache over his passing. Only you know it, Ares."

"That's what I said. Great decisions are always in your hands" said King Ares.

"No, Ares." Queen Ishtar shook her head. "It's just because my portion of expertise happens to be at critical points for decision-making."

"What is not?" the voice of King Ares began to sound high. He got up from his seat and approached Queen Ishtar. Then stood before him and stared cynically into his blue eyeballs.

"Then what about the tubes in your little lab, hm? You also made your own decisions back then, remember?" said King Ares with great emphasis.

Queen Ishtar's face looked slightly stiffened. But then it seemed to return to normal. A sweet smile spread on her lips. "That was a mistake in the past, Ares. There's no need to bring it up again."

"If you don't want me to bring it up, why are those things still there? What are you planning to do with him?" King Ares.

"There is no plan" Queen Ishtar said, waving her hand slightly. "I'm just keeping it as. well, a memento."

"Memories?" King Ares growled. "And you think I believe?"

"Huh." King Ares turned his back in annoyance. And look at the glass slab.

"Then what are your plans for them?" ask King Ares. "You sure you're gonna let them stay in there?"

"There's no plan." Queen Ishtar shook her head. "Let them there for the next time. We still have a lot, right?"

"It's very generous of you" said King Ares.

"Because we can make it back very easily" Queen Ishtar said.

"It's so arrogant of you" King Ares's comment grew stifling.

"There's nothing more fun than seeing two beings together who love each other, you know?" queen Ishtar said softly. "Here you go, just focus on influencing your next party. We don't know when they'll meet. Maybe tomorrow."

"alright. For the next, I will win" said King Ares. "Must win."

"Maybe, Ares." Queen Ishtar nodded. "There is still enough time before our underground palace is finished.”

“Yes. And there's still plenty of time before the last leaf in the Martian jungle falls to the ground" King Ares said.

Queen Ishtar and King Ares were silent for a moment while looking into the glass slab that showed a pair of very happy looking creatures enjoying their new life.

“Ah, yes. Orders of knitwear and quilts for the martians are ready to be delivered,” said Ratu Ishtar.

“Ya, thanks. But the order of processed meat in a tube for you will be a little late this time. Because one of my best hunters has been busy with his love affairs,” replied the cynical King Ares as he glanced hatefully at the glass slab.

Queen Ishtar laughed.

“Then my King, can we now open this second Simulation Garden gate?” asked Queen Ishtar with a slight bow towards King Ares.

“Please, my Queen," replied King Ares with a slight bow as well.

Then the two beings of different species stood straight opposite.

Then they clenched their palms together.

Close your eyes and concentrate.

Then a beam of light gushed out rapidly from the union. Blind eyes cover the view.

And a new dimension was created before them.

Blue sky, green grass, deep and calm waters, and cute beautiful animals.

"Ah. beautiful..." Queen Ishtar was amazed. "As sharp as when we saw him together first."

"Hmmm..." King Ares just cleared his throat.

"Well, let's wait for the next meeting" Queen Ishtar said as she left the room, followed by King Ares.
