He's the one who told me to kill your parents!"
Again my body was listening to the man's words. I looked at Inspiration asking for clarity.
That's not all true, is it? The guy was just wondering, wasn't he? I hope Ilham looks at me and asks me to keep believing in him. But what I got was not that, Ilham looked down, his back seemed to tremble.
"Ham, w-is that right?" He's not bullying. The man now leisurely walked over to Ilham, approached and crouched down holding his shoulder.
"So let me now continue my work. This is a punishment for you who wasted my son! Look and watch the death of the woman you've been guarding all this time." The man's voice was soft, but my ears seemed to clearly catch every word he said.
If it's true the inspiration behind my parents' deaths, but I'm sure what I'm going through right now isn't because of him. It's obvious, isn't it? All this time he really took care of me. And the man's talk made me even more convinced that Inspiration was not the mastermind of all this. Keep who? The dela? Only Dela is in my second option now.
The man got up, Ilham still looked down. I don't know what he's thinking. It felt like I borrowed his ability for a while just to find out what he was thinking now.
"Are there any last words you need to say? Hem?" I turned my gaze towards the man, now that he had stood his back to Ilham and turned to look at me.
I wanted to get up but it felt like my body was too sick. The man walked slowly, making me even more confused what to do.
Don't be afraid, Ra. Don'tbeafraid. If this is the end of it all, you must accept it with sincerity.
If I die tonight, that means my share of the world is only here.
"I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!" My gaze turned towards the now rising Illam, The glint of the blade struck by the fleeting light I saw in his hand. And right, before the man realized it, Inspiration had stuck it first right into his chest.
I was stunned, this was the first time I had seen such a terrible event like this. And it was done by Inspiration.
"You-you!" The man groaned in pain. Blood began to pour down his clothes, but there was a strange blood that came out unlike the blood that most people had. It was a little black and it smelled very strong.
The man's body began to relax, but suddenly his body floated and scented out a scent of jasmine that was so dense.
Somehow, his body suddenly changed, I seemed to see the woman inside the well inside his body.
Now he floated, his sturdy body as if replaced with the body of the woman.
"It seems that what I have to destroy first is you!"
I should consider that man as what he is now. His voice was still the same but his form changed drastically from his original form.
He came to Ilham.
"You think it'll be easy to beat me?" The inspiration slowly retreated towards me.
He glanced at me, playing with his eyeballs as if giving me a cue. But what does he mean? I don't understand at all.
I got up, I don't know why I felt my energy recovering. The wounds that were scattered on my body seemed to be gone.
I scanned my body, watching it with a look of disbelief. Again this happens. It used to be that the wound on my elbow suddenly disappeared and now, not just on my elbow but on all my body.
I slapped my cheek hard.
"Shhh!"
How, sick? Then this really is? Not just my dreams or imagination. Oh my God, why is it like this. Did I go into another dimension? Or How? I still can't believe all this.
"Rome! Holy hooch! Why do you even think about the unexpected!" I looked, Inspiration is now right beside me.
I'm not huffing, I'm still in angry mode at him. At least if he was the one who told the man to kill my parents, why didn't he explain why.
"Ok, I was wrong! But please don't think about it now. This is our last chance to free the creature."
I forgot that Inspiration can read my mind. Wait, what did that mean? Freeing the Creature? What creature does he mean?
"Ra, down!" Inspiration swiftly pulled my body to come down.
BRACKET!
Dozens of gravestones fell on the trees behind us.
I breathed a sigh of relief, almost. If Ilham does not pull me, I make sure my head is not perfectly shaped.
The smell of jasmine fills my sense of smell even more.
"YOU MUST DIE!!!"
"Ra, now!"
Whahuh? I stared unblinkingly at the half-woman man of the well drifting towards us. The hand with the long fingernails stretched out was about to suffocate.
"Ra, Now!"
"What, Inspiration? Now what?I don't know what you mean! You think I can read minds like you!" I growled to myself, It could make me even more confused under these circumstances.
Inspiration to open his voice, but too late. That long hand first strangled both of us.
But I saw that both of Ilham's hands were holding the wrists of the half-well woman's man, his gaze just kept pointing at his hands as if I should do the same.
I remember Himmi and Dela. When they were possessed and I was sure that the one who entered them was the creature that was in front of me now. Because I remember her white eyes.
Their wrists yes, their wrists blistered when I held them. Is that what I mean by Inspiration?
I grimaced in pain, as his long nails began to pierce into the skin of my neck. Looks like her nails have torn the hijab I'm wearing now.
Quickly I followed what Inspiration did. My fingers began to grasp the hand that was now strangling my neck.
Nothing happened for a moment, but a few minutes later, after I was almost out of breath and in pain. The creature in front of me began to loosen its chuckle.
"Ja-don't be in le-pas, Ra." Inspiration tries to remind me. My body feels no longer able, my chest feels tight because no oxygen enters my lung cavity.
My grip began to weaken, but one hand of Inspiration immediately grasped my fused palm.
A loud moaning sounded. It is not from me or from Inspiration. But from the creature before us both.
His body squirmed as if it was overheating. He was about to pull his hand out of my hand. But Ilham tried so hard that my hand would not let go.
"DARK!!!"
I close my eyes tightly. The smell of the scorch began to smell. Followed by the smell of roast meat.
I ventured to open my eyes. Because that giggling I no longer feel.
My eyes were perfectly rounded when I saw the body of the creature before me begin to peel and blister.
The smell of charred plus the smell of rancid, the more concentrated I feel.
"REMOVE!!" The screams were loud, making my ears feel throbbing pain.
Now I can breathe oxygen freely. Because that hand no longer grips my neck.
"Ham, how? I can't stand the smell."
It felt like my stomach was getting nauseous, wanting to spit out what was inside.
"In a minute, Ra." Inspiration took her hand off my hand. But the hand of him next door still holds the hand of the creature. Maybe the goal is not to escape.
"You close your eyes."
"Make?"
"Any damn it!" I comply. And I felt my nose being squeezed hard.
Replex I opened my eyes again.
"Why pressed?!"
"Let's not be nauseous."
"Deliver! It's not nauseous, but it's stuffy!"
Inspiration immediately pulled his hand. I almost forgot that my life was about to drift because of the creature in front of me.
Uh, wait. I glanced at my palm which was now just grasping the wind. Where's that hand?
I just realized, no more moaning. No more screaming sounds. And there's no more stench in my nose.
"Ham..." Lirihku, while glancing around.
I only saw the clothes that the man was wearing, now scattered in front of me. Where's she?
My eyes grew even more glare when I saw a grave in front of me glow. It was the grave that had been a big question mark on my head. Because only that grave doesn't have a tombstone in this cemetery.
"Thank you for setting me free."
The cemetery was dark again. Did that sound come from there? It doesn't feel possible.
"Rome." That soft voice made me realize that here is not only I and Ilham but also Iqlima.
I saw Iqlima sitting limply by the tree where he was bound. Since when did the bond come off?
"Ma." I ran up to him, he was not too far from me and Inspiration.
"Ra! Don't men...!!"
"HOW DARE YOU KILL MY FATHER!!"
