In fiction, there is no harm in the author writing a storyline that is too fast and strong like that. It's just, the reader needs to be herded in understanding the development of the character. Interesting, if in Chapter 1 suffer and in Chapter 2 immediately happy, but there are some readers who are not satisfied with the plot that easily. Presumably, Robert had been inspired by the groove-accelerating mechanism.
