49. Lionny Duty

Since becoming the CEO of Sanjaya Group, Bobby settled in Jakarta, living and taking care of his father's legacy there. There has been a major overhaul of the corporate organizational structure undertaken by Bobby.

In a large family meeting, Bobby has appointed several people who will be placed in a certain position even though if judged by experience, obviously this person has not had a big chance.

Robert frowned and said astonished, “Dad, I just finished college, how could I be made manager.” There was a faint snort coming out from his nose.

Hearing a sentence like a rejection, Bobby gasped and said loudly, “Many people out there who even just want to be a security guard, while you want to refuse the position of manager?!” with a stare.

Chyntia turned to Robert and said, “You must obey what your father, Robert, said. If not now, when will you learn? You're the only boy. You are the Sanjaya Family's great hope in the future.”

Bobby continues, “Urus is your grandfather's old house, Lionny. You are the beloved grandson of the late grandfather.” Although the talk was good, there was still a sense of displeasure towards his own son. Robert and Luchy could not possibly forget their jealousy.

Lionny said, “Dad, later we will collabs with one of the new companies in Jakarta. The company also works with the government. If Sanjaya Techno wants to advance like any other IT company, we should be able to cooperate with them.”

So far, no major achievement has been successfully inscribed by Sanjaya Techno except running a mediocre project. Until now they have never won a tender held by the government or foreign parties on a large scale.

Bobby sighed harshly and said firmly but in a low tone, the impression of a failure but wanting achievement. “We should be able to cooperate with that company. Do I need a Dad who takes care of it in person and meets his CEO?”

Lionny shook his head and replied, “No need, Dad. Let us take care of it. I'm the one who should step in.”

Bobby doubtful. Against his own son Bobby lacks trust. “You are still a new secretary, Lionny. You haven't lobbied a lot of big guys. So far your job is only to serve Mr. Anggara in the office.”

Bobby's words are right. Lionny only works more in his own room and attends some small meetings. Lionny hasn't had enough experience in lobbying the big guys. If he's the one who's up to this task, Bobby clearly doubts Lionny will make it.

However, Lionny convinced himself. “I will get a contract of cooperation with that company, Father. If we succeed in working with them, we will be able to use a software design them, then our company will be easier in getting project.”

Lionny's goal is good, but Bobby isn't sure Lionny will make it through the process. Bobby says trivially, “Let Leon, the new IT manager, who takes care of this cooperation.”

Highlight Lionny's eyes sharpen. “Dad, if I never tried, forever I never could. Don't you want me to be able to grow quickly in the company? Don't you expect me to advance?”

Suddenly, Robert interrupted, “Kakak, just follow what Dad ordered. You're just working. Still a matter of months. What if you fail to get that contract?”

Luchy who does have envy with Lionny also interjected, “You do not have much experience, Brother Lionny. If you still force yourself, you will be embarrassed.”

This cooperation will be a turning point for Sanjaya Techno to rise. Before other companies take this cooperation contract, they must steal the start first if they want to be more developed than other developers.

Obviously Bobby Sanjaya will do everything he can. Whatever he will do to be able to work with the company.

And for Lionny, despite having a fairly calm personality, but after living a bad household story and being forced into a hard work environment, makes him more active and courageous.

Bobby deliberately coughed to stop the mouth war. “Good. I'll give you a chance, Lionny. If it works, I'll believe you. But if it fails, forever you have to tell me what Dad said!” firmly Bobby.

Lionny got up and said, “Alright. I will take care of the cooperation with the Nano-ID. I'll get that cooperation contract.”
