Chapter 9 - Not Wasting Time

"We're just going for a little while, madam." said Lova. Attempt to convince. Actually, if he could, he wished that they could escape.

"Once no, still no." Madam Jessy.

Nathan slowly looked towards Lova. He suggested that we go next time.

"No! I don't want to wait!" push Lova down while stomping one foot onto the floor. Everyone was shocked by his attitude towards Nathan.

"Lova!" reprimand Madam Jessy with frown. According to him, PSK women like Lova do not deserve to behave so to royal members.

"It's okay, madam..." Nathan wasn't angry at all. She liked Lova's attitude now.

Hearing the debate, Jaden approached. His arrival made everyone fall silent. Even Nathan himself.

"You can go. But on one condition. I'll come with you guys" Jaden added. Makes Lova flabbergasted in disbelief. Failed already the girl's plan to escape.

"But-" Lova's speech came to a halt as Jaden raised a hand in front of her face. The body language was as if it was telling Lova to be quiet.

"If refusing. Then you better not go" said Jaden.

Lova grunts violently. He had no choice but to agree. He had already taken Nathan away.

Nathan smiled as he watched Lova's face. He immediately grabbed the girl. "It's okay. I know you want to breathe fresh air out. We can talk about my problem later," he said.

Lova nodded her head. He and Nathan stepped together towards the exit. Taken by Jaden from behind.

Since it was allowed, Lova stepped out of Eden Night. He was immediately welcome to Nathan's luxury car. Lova and the man sat together in the back seat. Jaden was sitting in front with the bodyguards driving.

From the back of Nathan's car was another car. The car was loaded by a palace guard who specifically escorted Nathan wherever he went.

"You enjoy your time. Let's just say I don't exist" Jaden added without looking back.

Lova shrugged her shoulders. He turned to Nathan and said, "Did you hear anyone talk?"

Nathan chuckles at Lova's behavior. His hand slowly hooked the long strands of Lova's hair to the auricle.

"Why are you so adorable now, Lova? You're more cheerful than the days before. You're making me feel more at home by your side" Nathan sighed in a sensual tone.

I don't know why Lova's heart is beating so fast. Especially when Nathan's face was so close to the niche of his neck. The man's breath hit the entire skin of Lova's neck. Makes the blood all over her body ripple violently.

Lova reflexes inching backwards. He felt really strange about what he was feeling.

"Sorry. I-i..." Lova dazed. He doesn't know what to say.

Nathan just squinted his eyes. His forehead was puzzled. The same thing Jaden did. The man can watch Lova through the rearview mirror.

"You okay?" ask Nathan.

"I think so. M-maybe it's because I'm hungry. Yeah, I think so..." Lova gave her reason. He tried to hide his nervous face.

"Then let me take you to a nice restaurant. I'm sure you've never tasted fancy food," Nathan said. He ignored Lova's strange attitude. Then he ordered the driver to go to the restaurant.

Lova smiled wryly. He actually ate a lot of fancy food. Especially when he was in his life. Just when he hasn't entered the world of novels yet.

The car has reached its destination. Nathan and Lova get off together. The two walk side by side. Behind them were Jaden and some of Nathan's bodyguards.

"Is it okay? What if someone sees?" ask Lova.

"It's already night. After all this restaurant is famous for its patience to maintain customer privacy," replied Nathan who continued to lead Lova into the restaurant.

"It seems you've been here a lot" Lova responded.

"Yes, indeed. If I wanted to eat quietly, I would have come here. This restaurant is often visited by members of the kingdom and famous people," explained Nathan.

While Lova and Nathan were engrossed in conversation, Jaden was busy scanning the surroundings. His attenuation should be directed towards a familiar figure standing in front of the cashier's desk.

"Why? What-" Nathan's words interjected when Jaden sigap shows the position where Titan is.

Nathan speaks a thousand languages. He immediately told Jaden to go to take Lova. As a result, Jaden dragged Lova to run away from the restaurant.

"Mrs. J! Why are we running? Can't you see I'm wearing high heels?!" lova protested with a frowning forehead.

"We have to go. Before..." Jaden did not finish his sentence as he managed to see two people running towards him and Lova. "Damn!" sumpat Jaden while again pulling Lova to run.

"Hey!" lova's screeches were a big complaint. He really has trouble running. "At least let me take off my shoes first!" cetusnya with a pretty loud tone. But Jaden kept him running into the sidewalk.

While running, Lova tried hard to take off her shoes. Until one of the shoes managed to clear. But the running is getting harder. Because the footing height of the left and right feet so drastically different.

"Mrs. J!!! Can we stop?!" exclaim Lova.

Jaden paused for a moment. He's clucking pissed. Then Lova entered a shop.

Simultaneously, the two men who were chasing Lova and Jaden stopped. Because they managed to find Lova's shoes left behind.

"Look! Aren't these the shoes of the woman we were chasing?" said one of the men who was chasing Lova. His friend immediately nodded. Now they are back in pursuit. The two continued to run past the shop Lova and Jaden entered.

Seeing the person chasing him away, Jaden came out of the hiding place. Coincidentally he and Lova took cover behind a line of clothes hanging.

"By the way, why are they after us?" tanya Lova was curious. Staring sharply at Jaden with the tip of his eye.

"Because you were seen holding Prince Nathan's affection!" jaden replied with a face that looked angry. His forehead is crinkling deep.

"The prince himself told me to hold him!" sahut Lova stepped back. He tried to avoid Jaden who felt so threatening.

"I knew. But you should be more careful. If you want to do that, look around first. You have to because the customers you serve are not just anyone! He is a member of the kingdom!" tukas Jaden was impressed like a nag.

"The Prince said the restaurant was a safe place." Lova shrieks.

Jaden rolled his puffed-up eyes. He pulled Lova's shoulder. Until the girl stood closer in front of him.

"Look! If our identity is discovered by the people of the kingdom, then we die. You should know that Prince Nathan's routine visit to Eden Night clearly violates the royal rules."

"So that's why the Prince told me to leave immediately?" Lova concluded. He got an answer from Jaden with a nod of the head. "People of Prince Nathan. He must have had a hard time living freely" he commented. He took off his lost heels next door.

Jaden doesn't care. He gripped Lova's hand tightly. Then take her away. Jaden will certainly bring Lova back to Eden Night.

On the way to Eden Night, Lova thought about Nathan. He remembers that the men who killed Nathan were Titans.

'I'm sure the people who were chasing me earlier were the Titan Prince's men. Doesn't that mean Nathan's time of death will be near. I hope they don't know who I am. Perhaps it is best to hide, Lova surmised. He still held onto his heels that lived next door. Letting both his legs stand barefoot.
