Chapter 27 - New King of Axenia

Lova threw her body into the bed. He put on an empty look. Now he does not know how to. Already unable to go home, Lova will soon lose Nathan.

"Do I really have to let go of Nathan?" muttered Lova with a sad face. He was in a prone position while hugging a pillow. "If so, but why does my heart feel unwilling." he continued.

One night's gone. For the first time Lova was unable to sleep. He thinks of the house and Nathan too. When the girl turned her head towards the wall clock, the needle already showed at half-eight in the morning.

Lova changed position to sit. Put on an empty look. He was tired of living in Eden Night. Lova really had to do something to get away from the cursed place.

"Ah right! Master Jade! Yesterday it seemed like she was interested in helping me get out of here" Lova said. He's out of the room immediately.

Lova's looking for Jaden. From the room to the places that the man often visited. However, Lova did not manage to meet Jaden. Now he had to ask Madam Jessy.

"Jade's on some important business. He'll probably be gone long enough" Madam Jessy replied as she stared in search. "Why? You don't usually look for Jade first. Are you going to tease her too? Just like you did to Prince Nathan? Because lately I've seen you've been close to Jade, too" she continued.

"Of course not. I don't have to bother doing it. Because Mr. Jade is the most basket-eyed man I've ever known. No need to be tempted he will be tempted" said Lova. He smiled briefly. Then leave Madam Jessy.

Lova breathed a heavy breath. He sat in the main room of Eden Night. Then I drank the beer from the glass. His face immediately grimaced with bitterness.

Lova's attention was directed towards the television. The funeral of King Renald happened. From there Lova can see Nathan. The man's face looked puffy. Showing a deep sadness.

Unlike the Titan and Finn who seem flat. Obviously the two brothers had no close relationship with the king.

Lova's pupils dilated as she watched Princess Alana attend. He looks sad. At least the expression of Princess Alana seemed sincere compared to Titan and Finn.

"It seems that from now on you won't see Prince Nathan again. I'm sure he'll be busy taking care of Axenia" Madam Jessy said. He sat down next to Lova.

"I think so," Lova responded flatly. He refused to even look at the other person.

"I told you, you should know yourself" said Madam Jessy. I don't know how many times he mentioned that phrase.

Lova. Those annoying words made him even more careless. He left the main room.

The days of Lova as usual. Without Jaden, especially Nathan. Everything feels boring. Until finally the announcement from the royal side began to spread.

From what Lova heard, Nathan was elected as the successor of King Renald. The day of confirmation will be prepared by the kingdom. Even by the people of Axenia.

Now Lova is on the balcony alone. He folded his hands over a barrier made of trellis. Lova let out a long sigh many times.

Lova gasps. When something cold hits his skin. He looked up. Lova smiled as she watched the snow fall from the sky.

"Winter?" Lova smiled as she opened her palms wide. He was like a child who first saw snow.

Lova's eyes were rounded when she saw a rectangular-shaped object hovering in the air. From its shape, he could guess what it was. Sparks of light also shone around the rectangular-shaped object.

"This is the second card" Lova added. He raised one hand into the air. Then reach out to the tarot card that happened to be floating towards him.

A card bearing the image of a monstrous horned creature was already in Lova's hands. He felt a bit horrified when he saw her. In the tarot card itself the card is often called The Devil.

"It turns out the cards aren't as beautiful as they appear to be" Lova commented as she kept the tarot cards in the bra. Unbeknownst to him, from behind there was someone coming. She put on a coat for Lova.

Curious, Lova wanted to turn around. But the figure behind him did not allow. The man hugged Lova tightly. That's when Lova can smell her signature scent.

"You think?" Nathan's Response.

Lova smiled broadly when she could hear that voice. Now he's taking off Nathan's embrace. Then turn to face the man. The face he had longed for was now present before his eyes.

"I miss you" Nathan said. His eyes radiated a twinkle of admiration.

Lova, who was initially pleased by Nathan's presence, suddenly felt troubled. Because he remembered Titan's plans for Nathan. Lova didn't want that to happen.

"I heard you were chosen to lead the Axenia kingdom. How you feeling?" ask Lova.

Nathan stopped smiling. He threw away a moment's face. As if something was bothering him.

"Yes. But honestly, I never wanted that. I just want to live free" Nathan said sincerely.

"But I think you're the only Prince who deserves to be king" Lova said.

"How can you be so sure? You've never even met Titan and Finn."

"I just feel sure." Lova touched Nathan's face gently.

"Listen. I came here with the intention of taking you away. Come with me to the palace and be my queen" Nathan said. Makes Lova's eyes break the pattern.

"I? Your queen? You're kidding me, aren't you?" Lova was in disbelief.

"I wouldn't be happy to be king if the queen wasn't you. I don't care what people say!" said Nathan.

"But you know that I..."

"I told you I don't care!" Nathan insists.

"No, Prince. It's wrong! You better go home now. I can't go with you" Lova refused, shaking her head and taking off Nathan's coat.

"Lova! You why? You love me too, don't you?" Nathan was disappointed.

"Eitherway. I'm still confused by how I feel." Lova replied. He didn't even dare to look at Nathan.

Lova was forced to reject Nathan's invitation. Because he knew Titan would do something to Nathan if he was desperate for a serious relationship. Lova was sure, Nathan would definitely bear the scorn and embarrassment of dying. Remembering Lova is not from a respectable person.

"Lova! Please... Don't do this. I know you did it because you didn't want to embarrass me." Nathan held Lova's hands together. Look on expectantly.

Lova was just silent. Simultaneously, Jaden appeared from behind Nathan.

"Prince! Looks like you should get home soon! I hope you don't come to Eden Night anymore" Jaden said. Nathan turned around in a stare.

"Mr Jade!" exclaim Lova. He ran over Jaden's arms.

Nathan, who had intended to argue with Jaden, disengaged his intentions. He was very surprised by what Lova did.

The same thing Jaden felt. He was confused by Lova's attitude. One thing is for sure, Jaden's heart is pounding very fast.
