40. Adinda's Story

Max makes use of two days of free time to strengthen his emotional closeness with Alina. Max wanted to take Alina to Bandung, but Alina refused under the pretext of not being able to leave work. Automatic Max intervened asking permission on Mr. Leo, of course Alina's boss did not mind. Alina remained adamant. Observing the heartwarming expression the girl showed, Max could guess the reason behind the rejection. But he waited for Alina who said lancung.

Alina had already asked for Max's account number on Adrian before but the man was as scheming as Max, arguing that he did not want to be fired for informing his boss' account so that Alina could not bear to force.

Max smiled, "If I were the same sister, I would never know if there was such a beautiful angel as you,"

" Fuckin' dreadful," snorted Alina , she was seriously even invited to joke.

"That feeling can not be forced Alina, I love Dinda as a sister, not a partner," continued Max again as he moved from sitting and raised some paper bags

" Yuk's home, it's late."

Alina wakes up to the preoccupation of listening to Max, she forgets time. Somehow he was still curious, this time he wanted to know more about the story of Max's love journey before meeting him. And it looks like tomorrow he's going to lure Max back into telling stories.

" Where are we going tomorrow?" ask Max once they're in the car.

" Obviously don't want to go again,"

"If so we're just in the apartment, friendly," Max raises his eyebrows.

Alina grimaced, "It's good, it's what you want,"

Max chuckles and kisses Alina cheek at a glance.

" Or do you have another idea?" their faces were so close that Alina's heart beat twice as fast.
