36. He's mine

Hearing Morgan's narration of how Alina's status now leaves a bit of turmoil in Bryan's heart, aware of the mistake he has made it feels inappropriate to assume Alina has betrayed his love. Almost eight months had passed, it was only natural that Alina would now rise up and seek new happiness.

But no matter how hard Bryan tried sincerely, the fact is that he could not take it for granted. Angry, jealous and hate all those flavors mixed into one. And within seconds all the stuff in his study room became an impingement.

Morgan lets Bryan vent his emotions, because he knows exactly how the man feels about Alina. He himself had already reminded earlier that Bryan was not playing with fire, and asked him to rethink the consequences he would receive. At that time Bryan remained strong with his stance.

Bryan thought Alina would still be his because she loved him so much. Unfortunately, no one knows the destiny of one's life, when God wills, none of them can stand in the way.

" Cry if it can make you relieved bro, make sure after that there is no more violence left, you have to learn to let go," morgan advised while patting Bryan's lethargic shoulder with a face wet with tears. He was calmer than before.

" If I hadn't followed Sarah's advice in the past, I might still be able to make things right" Bryan rubbed his face.

Morgan nodded in agreement "You know Alina is forgiving, maybe she'll get angry and hate you, but sooner or later I'm sure she'll understand,"

Bryan laughed at his stupidity, now all this regret is pointless.

" I'm sorry, you can't go in, sir, or I'll call the authorities, you've been arbitrarily in our area," the outside voices astonished Bryan, he went to check.

The door to his office was pushed rough. It appears that three men forced their way in regardless of the warnings given by the two companies.

Bryan frowned cluelessly, while Morgan was glued to the spot.

" Max," muttered Morgan softly.

" I'm sorry we tried to prevent them sir, but they didn't bother me, I'll call the police now" one security told Bryan with a stiff English accent, most of them are Indonesians who work in Singapore.

Realizing Morgan's expression, Bryan felt that this had something to do with the problem.

" No need, you can go. They are my guests" he said.

The two guards nodded and left the room.

Max stared intently at the figure standing behind the table, he stepped closer with a look that could not be separated and Bryan had not had time to read the situation. Max immediately launched a blow

Bugh..bugh.bugh!!!

Bryan, who was unprepared for the attack, fell to his floor.

" Max, what are you doing!" morgan tries to prevent it, but Adrian and Adam's hands move quickly to hold the man.

" Just leave it, Max just gave a little greeting introduction, your friend will not die," said Adam chuckled.

Bryan shrank the blood coming out of the corner of his lips, he caught his breath and got back up, this time with resistance he countered Max's attack, but Max was more skilled in martial arts. None of Bryan's attacks hit the target, and once Bryan lost focus back on Max's feet nestled in the heart and near********* the man.

" Aarrrgh!!" Bryan again lay on the floor while holding the sick part of his body.

Morgan could not bear to see his friend's terrible condition, but he could not do anything about it.

Max crouches down to Bryan, he pulls the collar of the man's shirt, forcing him to sit on one of the chairs.

" It's nothing like the pain you inflict on a girl who's so sincere with you" Max said.

"You're who heh," Bryan said stammered. The pain in his body made him grimace.

Max is displaying an evil smile.

" Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Maxime Arlingga Yogatama, the future husband of the girl you left the day before her wedding,"

Bryan choked, so he was the man Morgan was referring to, the man who was able to make Alina melt and fall into his arms.

" Tell me why you can do it" asked Max again with an intimidating glare.

"It's none of your business" Bryan snorted back at Max with a look of anger. No matter how much pain she bears, hearing Max is Alina's lover, all her blood flow is flowing fast.

" Well, having the guts turns out, you know what you're doing can ruin your life, manipulating death is a serious crime, don't you think Commander Adam?" max sarcas.

" Of course Max, I'll make sure the layered chapter will put him in jail, '" Adam said.

Bryan and Morgan gasp, but Max takes the police with him, and Gerry may have told him everything. It is only fitting that these few days the man could not be contacted.

" Just go ahead, I don't care anymore" Bryan challenged. He knew that what Max was saying was a bluff, if indeed the man was about to imprison, he would have done it from the beginning.

" Don't you think I'm bluffing you respectable Mr. Bryan, I'm just stalling, your wife is pregnant isn't she? and I still have a heart so that you can witness the birth of your son,"

Bryan is surprised how Max can read his mind, and how the man knows his personal life.

" What do you want, don't involve my wife, I won't stay silent if you disturb my family,"

Cheih, Max spit on the floor hearing Bryan say.

" If you think you're a family man, you don't deserve that."

" It's up, but don't bother my family, or you'll regret it" Bryan threatened back.

" Don't try to threaten me, you don't know who I'm dealing with, I'm not someone like you who exploits someone else's weaknesses to gain ambition. And I'm sure what you're getting now is part of your ambition, right?"

" It's not like you think, it's just a mistake,"

" Oh yeah? then you admit that leaving Alina was a mistake and you regret that?"

Bryan was silent, Max let go of his hand

" You're right, I'm sorry I hurt Alina, if you want me to apologize to her, will I?"

Max smiled a cynical smile.

" No need because he doesn't need it anymore, stay away from him and never show your face in front of him, "

" Are you afraid Alina will come back to me?" bryan's teasing felt like he had the wind.

" Fuck," said Max again cringe Bryan until the man has trouble breathing.

" He will not come back to you, for he is mine, only mine,"

Bryan laughed sarcastically

" If you're that sure, what else are you afraid of, unless you still doubt that Alina loves you,"

Max grits the molars, his jaw muscles harden.

"I've never been afraid, because I know how Alina feels about me, you can feel victorious because now you're living in the girl's fond memories, but soon those memories will be a grain of dust, no longer left,"

Bryan was silent, Max's last sentence left him stunned. Being hated by Alina was her biggest fear, which is why she committed this crime.

Max throws Bryan to the floor, then fixes the tuxedo. He felt he had enough of making calculations with the man.

" We're leaving" he asked Adam and Adrian. Before exiting Max looked at Morgan with a meaningful gaze. Morgan gulped at the look of anger there. He thinks he's the next target.

But Morgan was wrong, Max just kept quiet and passed away leaving the room with a cold, enveloping aura.

Morgan breathed a sigh of relief. Hurry up, she approaches Bryan and helps him stand up.

" I'll get a doctor,"

" No need" Bryan intercepted

" You look pathetic,"

" I deserve it, though,"

Silence hit them both, Morgan thought about what Max would do to him later, considering all this time he acted as if he did not know.

" I don't think he's a random person, he's got all the information about me"

Morgan nodded.

" He is the CEO and heir of Mulia Jaya Group, "

Whats?

Bryan. His roar turned pale. What destiny is he living. Hope to get out of one problem. He was caught in another complicated situation.

" What's up? why do you look so surprised,"

ask Morgan wonder

Bryan exhaled a breath that felt tight to the chest.

" My wife, Adinda is Max's cousin,"

Morgan was no less shocked to hear that "***, how can it be?"

" Her father Adinda is Hardi Arlingga's younger brother, the owner of Mulia Jaya Group,"

Bryan tried to recall the conversation with Adinda on the phone last night, if she wasn't mistaken
