Intrigued by Thomas's confession to Julien's, Nick is ready to pay someone to spy on Julien's. Maybe that way Nick will get the information with the clear will Julien's. Not only pseudo-information conveyed by a Thomas. But Nick must be able to really get the right information about Julien's.

The man Nick assigned to spy on Julien's is one of the staff at his own restaurant. Mike Miller, a German-born man was to be assigned by a Julien's to spy on a Julien's. Maybe Mike will keep following Julien's to get accurate information on Julien's having two wives.

If what Thomas says is the truth. It's not impossible it's going to be big news that's going to ruin Julien's career. Maybe everyone in France will hate Julien's for committing an illegal act. Having two wives is an act not permitted under French law. Until Julien's could potentially get punished for what he did.

Mike who had done the same task, did not mind to run the task that is actually not in accordance with the field. He still felt it was a not-so-difficult job, so Mike could do the act well. Like what Nick assigned him.

Nick believed all of Mike's words. Mike has done that before. So it would not be difficult at all for a Mike to spy on a Julien's who is considered to have a second wife. It had to be dug deeper by a Mike. So Nick can get information that matches what Thomas tells him.

But Nick also asked Mike to be more careful. He must keep paying attention to the principles of prudence in carrying out his duties. Otherwise, Mike will likely be known to a Julien's. If that happens, Mike could potentially be thrown in jail. Spying under French law is illegal. So Mike must be careful with the action. Mike should be able to pay attention to many things when doing the action.
