Saturday morning, Mr. J came out of the room. While answering a call from Arvin.
"Hmm, just set it according to the schedule!"
When he was done, Mr. J decided on the call. And when he raised his head, there was already Renata in the dining room together with Zayn.
Renata greeted her husband with a bright smile, "Good morning!"
Mr. J smiled slightly. Then sit down next to Renata, "Good morning, Dear."
Renata leaned her face to give Mr. J a kiss, "Today's breakfast toast with a glass of tea."
Mr. J's forehead shriveled. In fact, he prefers a glass of black coffee over tea.
"Green tea is much better than coffee" said Renata, who was aware of her husband's dislike, "Because it can warm you more in winter like this."
"Hmm," muttered Mr. J as he nodded. Although he did not like it, he did not get angry, nor did he reject the things Renata had given him.
"Ehmm," Zayn cleared his throat, trying to bring up his attention on the dining table that seemed invisible, "The princess is forbidden to make out at breakfast."
Oh, come on, both of them don't remember if there's a single guy here.
Mr. J glanced at the cynical Zayn, just as he was, His brother seemed to be on a day off work, "Who are you that forbids."
Zayn snorted, "You have no fear, yes."
"Fearful?" Mr. J asked as if it was a joke, then smiled cynically, "That's right."
That's Jefra Tjong, there's nothing to fear. Except, fearing her Renata leave. The man loved his wife very much. How he ventured to express his feelings.
Renata's laughter broke out in the air, "You guys are indeed really familiar."
"Akrab from where!" deny Mr. J and Zayn at the same time.
"Truly familiar and compact," she clapped her hands.
The two men were looking at it.
Then the three of them started the breakfast quietly.
"Sir Zayn didn't go to the hospital?" asked Renata after finishing her breakfast.
"This time I want to go to the hospital. Father will be home this afternoon" Zayn replied after sipping his warm tea.
"Is Father-in-law okay?" ask Mr. J, who has not had time to visit Rendra at the hospital.
"Your heart disease is now quite severe, now it has turned into a coronary heart," replied Zayn.
"Is that dangerous?" ask Renata.
"Of course it's dangerous" Zayn replied while watching Renata's expression. The estimate was correct, his sister was still concerned with the father, "But it can still be overcome with the drugs that have been prescribed by the Doctor. If the drugs aren't effective, the doctor will run the surgery."
Renata was filled with excitement, an unpleasant feeling attacking the recesses of her heart. Either way, Rendra was his father in this world. There is a blood bond that cannot be broken. Although many times Renata condemned Rendra's treatment so far.
Suddenly Renata felt a soft touch on his hand, The hand with the solid fingers of Mr. J was holding his hand. As if giving strength. It seems, the husband is aware of the confusion he feels.
"Renata, do you hate Dad?" Zayn asked a question suddenly.
Renata was silent, not answering. However, repeating Zayn's question in his mind.
Hating Rendra?
"Angry, disappointed, and hate are at first glance the same but also different" said Renata smiling bitterly.
"Yes" said Zayn.
Renata looked up and said, "Anged and disappointed are two almost identical human emotions. However, very different. Anger is an overflow of emotions and a form of release from a mismatch with what is expected. Anger is simply an expression, reaction, and response that arises spontaneously. But, usually it can still be forgiven..."
"...While disappointed, the level of anger itself. It's like it makes no difference. However, the one thing that disappointed me was something more horrible than being angry. That is, disappointment is difficult to forgive. It takes time and takes a long time."
Renata took a breath for a moment before continuing his explanation, "Then hate, it is a strong emotion and form of dislike. There is a desire to avoid and eliminate it. Hate is the highest level of anger."
"So which level are you at?" now it was Mr. J who asked Renata.
Renata tries to express what she is feeling now.
"I've been angry with Dad, I've been disappointed with Dad a lot, and I hate Dad. But, I don't think I can do that right."
Zayan was silent listening to everything his sister said.
"Honestly, for everything you did to me, I immediately declared that I hated you."
"But somehow my heart is not in line with my brain. My heart desperately refused to hate Dad, when my brain told me that Dad was worth hating. My heart says, however, he's still my father, the first person who should be a figure, and in fact I still love you."
Mr. J was stunned to hear Renata's confession. And so did he feel for Theo. Yes, however Theo is his father, that's why the mother gave the message not to hate his father.
Why do they have the same feeling? Both suffer because of the injustice of the Father.
"Therefore, my brain relented and I realized that I didn't hate Dad. But I'm disappointed with what he's been doing all this time" Renata continued, after pausing his words for a few seconds.
Then Renata turned to Zayn who was looking at the side of his face, so that their views were linked up for a while.
"Regardless of her haughty and heartless attitude, I actually have my own point of view as a girl. I catch that Dad was originally soft-hearted for still loving Mom up until now."
"Actually, he only considered Santy to escape the feeling of slump after Mother's death. Dad just lost his way after losing his soul mate, and didn't accept something that made his love go away, which was me."
Renata knows very well what it would be like if the most loved one were to leave for ever. That's what he used to feel when Jefra died on a mission. Heart crumpled to pieces, even he was so sick and ended up dying. Leaving his son who was crying at that time.
"I'm amazed by Dad's love for Mom, which is really big and maybe infinite" Renata said, turning to the side to look at Mr. J.
As for Lord J, he somehow felt his heart being smashed by a thousand daggers. He also felt that he had forgotten something so precious. But, what?
Then Renata looked back at Zayn, and gave his best smile.
"Remain..." Zayn called out Renata's name with a trembling voice, "Excuse Brother. From the beginning I promised to make you happy. In fact, you are always sad and crying. Brother hopes after this you won't feel that sadness again."
"You take it easy, Zayn. Now there is me who will make Renata happy and erase her sadness" concluded Jefra Tjong.
