Lontara 52: The Sleepy Death Forest

Andros just looked at the sky and breathed out and took it out, thinking that telling Vein the matter was the right thing. It is also impossible to face such a big problem alone.

"Actually, something is lurking in the central continent right now" Andros said as he threw the stone into space, it darted so fast that it would be invisible again.

"You mean?" Vein looked at Andros with a question mark.

Andros explained that he and Weiss had visited a location in the 'Paradise lost realm. The place was inhabited by one of the Magic Beasts that was as strong as Weiss.

There they met, Uhr. Spirit Beasts are sacred owls that can predict the future. Weiss initially invited Andros there to practice but Uhr told him the continent was on the verge of collapse.

A sleeping power has risen and will wreak havoc in it. Uhr said the chaos could be stopped if someone found the power and destroyed it.

Vein frowned hearing that.

 

Raiden and Scar rode their horses down the forest periphery, the sound of birds was clearly heard from outside the location, this was the most eastern location of the Geateria Kingdom.

Precisely on the edge of the Sleepy Death Forest, this vast forest became the boundary between the Geateria Kingdom and the Easter Kingdom. This region includes dangerous areas, which also causes the absence of villages around here.

As the name suggests this forest is dangerous because this forest makes people who enter it can not come out alive. Not to mention the presence of Magic Beasts as well as other creatures within this forest.

Even a Mage can be killed easily within this forest but Raiden and Scar are the Three Star Wizards. Not much can harm them.

"This forest has a special magic field, my eyes can't see into it"

Raiden closed his eyes. His sleeves fluttered in the wind, while his Firearms were adrift on his waist as well as his long hair tied up in fluttering.

"So, what are we gonna do?" Scar followed behind him with a broad sword on his back.

Cigarettes thick still stuck in the lips occasionally he exhaled smoke from the corner of his lips.

"To face the White Shadow, we need as much help as possible. Come on!"

Raiden drives his horse away from the forest, followed by Scar. They drove the horse in the opposite direction to the forest. To find the nearest village to find information, he could not just enter the forest because if they were trapped they would be easy targets considering the White Shadow knew he was being targeted.

They continued riding until, The sun began to set and a village was seen. The rain started to fall and they entered the village there were only two guards at the village gate.

The village guard was not a Magician and carried a sword on their waist. They stop Raiden and Scar's horse, they become wary of seeing the broadsword on Scar's back.

"Gentlemen, is there any business in our village?" Ask one of the guards.

"We're travelers, need a place to rest. You guys got any lodging here?" Raiden is doing both.

"Yes, but the entrance fee is three bronze masters"

Judging from the appearance, these two guards were village youths. Judging from the treatment of these two villagers seemed to look friendly.

Raiden took something from under his cloak and threw a piece of gold at them. The young men received the gold with a tremble.

The boy to tears received the coin, the value of a gold can guarantee his life up to a full year.

"You are, if you have a lot of money you should buy a little good wine from your cheap wine"

"I'd rather this wine than any other wine."

Scar only sighed, then looked around. This inn building is integrated with a bar that has many customers
