Vena, Andros and Uncle Ozo continued their journey to a nearby village or town in order to rent a horse-drawn carriage to speed up their journey..
"Ughs.. Hungry..." Vein was heard complaining while holding her stomach.
"Would we rest for a while, Uncle?" Ask andros
Uncle Ozo agreed and they took shelter under a shady tree that had a shallow river nearby.
Vein immediately ran towards the river and drank the water straight away while Andros and Uncle Ozo just smiled faintly at the stronger Hazel holding back the hunger and thirst from Vein.
Hazel just approached a thicket of shrubs and saw a small flower growing at the shoots.
"Hey, Andros. What if we go hunting. It seemed that in the forest it had some small animals that could be eaten" Vein pointed at a Forest across the river.
"Good idea" Andros stood up and then Uncle Ozo also offered to hunt but was subtly rejected by Andros. So while waiting Uncle Ozo will teach some basic things to a Magician to Hazel.
Uncle Ozo lent him a small knife he had wrapped in his arm to Andros. Although not fully recovered Andros has been able to move freely, only he has not been able to drain the energy into his body because it has just recovered.
Andros and Vena went straight through the forest. As long as they walked there was no sign of wild animals nor Magic Beasts, so they decided to go deeper.
And when it got deep enough they found an ordinary jungle chicken. Veins immediately sparkled his eyes, if only here were no Andros he would definitely drool.
Veins directly chase the chicken without stale bases, Veins can easily compensate for the speed of the chicken but not an easy thing to catch it.
When the Vein had caught the chicken it easily slipped out of his grasp. Vein continued to do that whereas Andros only watched her from afar while chuckling.
"Ah, I'm sick of you!" Vein threw her needle and stuck it in the chicken.
The chicken was lying on the ground limp and something came out of its mouth, a strange red and foul-smelling liquid.
"Ups, I poisoned him" Vein patted his forehead.
They lose their food, Andros advises Vena to pay attention because all the hidden weapons belonging to Veins have poison.
They started to walk back to find other animals. Andros walked leisurely while watching his surroundings while Vena was dissolving in his own thoughts while occasionally glancing at Andros.
He began to ask his reason for practicing as a Magician all this time, at first he found out that he had a talent in poison magic and his father painstakingly found him a Grimoire to study because Grimoires for elements other than the five basic elements were hard to obtain.
Then force him to study Poison Magic. At first he only studied half-heartedly, but since his mother's death something changed inside him.
He became cold and sadistic, at first he liked to do experiments on small animals but the longer he began to experiment on humans.
He thought back to what had happened and thought if he was born as an ordinary peasant boy in a small village and lived without fighting and killing. He thought such a life was not bad, From his little heart he wished it had happened.
While Andros also dissolved in his mind, he had already lost several times almost his life. He reconsidered to be the Princess' bodyguard. For that he must be more diligent in practicing increasing his inner strength and mastering the entire technique of the Hundred Swords Book.
He had no regrets about not being able to use magic like Andria but not being able to use magic was no reason to be weak to him.
Then they heard the animal. Andros and Vena settled into the thicket and looking at the origin of the sound, their eyes widened looking at such a beautiful Magic Beast.
A gazelle with snow-white fur and horns released a dim light like a starry night. The gazelle looks mighty with black eyes staring hard.
Andros was amazed by the beauty of the Magic Beast while Vena instantly regained consciousness and chased after the antelope hungry.
Andros was about to stop Vein but not fast enough, Vein directly out of the bush and only realized if he did not have a weapon that was not laced with poison. Andros immediately patted his eel, and the antelope was startled and immediately ran.
The frustrated vein did not want to lose its prey and chased after the antelope. Andros also does not want to release their prey because this forest is very difficult to find other animals.
Andros used the science of lightening his body and chasing the antelope, they continued to chase and the longer they lost track of the antelope.
"Where's he going?" Ask Vena with a stingy breath
"I don't know either, the antelope is very fast." Andros wiped off the sweat, his body slightly fit after running like this.
"Andros, look there's a cave!" Vein pointed at a cave located not far from them.
They both set foot into the mouth of the cave, they tried to look inside but could not see the end of this cave. Even Andros had sharpened his vision using deep energy.
"Would we check inside, could it be that the Magic Beast was hiding there?" Ask Vein
"It seems kind of dangerous, we don't know what kind of creature is in there." Andros tried to think realistically.
"But it's a pity that we didn't catch the animal. We've been in this forest hours and only found two animals."
Andros stroked his chin then told him if Vena or himself sensed danger they would come straight out of the cave and Vena nodded in agreement.
They both walked through the cave with a simple wooden torch made by Andros.
Andros clasped Vena's hand tightly while the other hand held the torch, so that if he felt in danger could directly pull Vein out.
While Vena instead of being vigilant even looked at the hand of Andros who grasped his hand. He returned Andros' grasp gently and tried to calm his beating heart.
Andros felt the deeper they walked there was a strange urge on him that was like telling him to come in.
By sticking his hand on the hand of Vein he steadied the step in deeper.
