BATTLE CRY'S

BATTLE CRY'S
Lontara 39: Old Books

Scar frowned but according to him, Raiden slowly opened his eyes and then took out one of his eye abilities.

"Vision Field!"

When Scar looked into Raiden's eyes, his eyes also turned blue and he could see everything Raiden saw, he saw something wrapped in a white cloth floating in the air and disappeared.

Raiden closed his eyes and everything became normal, Scar blinked his normal eyes a few times.

"You can do such a thing, the strength of your eyes is very unique. But I think he heard our conversation, he found out we were after him."

"Yes, we'll hunt him down before he manages to gather strength"

---

"Andros you must see this!" Veins screamed loudly making Andros' meditation come to an end.

Andros ran to the origin of the voice of Vein. He saw Vena widening her eyes in front of the door of a small room.

"What's up?.... Huh uh?" Andros also widened his eyes.

A small room is like a room with a bed, a table and a chair. But there was a black-robed, hooded figure sitting on that chair.

The figure was sitting while facing a thick book with a quill pen in his hand.

Andros approached the figure with a heart while the Veins behind him were alert.

"Excuse me, senior." Andros touched the shoulder of the figure then like powerless his head drooped backward and showed his face that only remains bones.

The body was already completely bone without any flesh, it seemed like this corpse had long since died.

"It looks like this person is the owner of this library." Vea.

"Yes, it seems so." Andros picked up the thick book that was in front of the body.

He cleaned up the dust and read the cover.

"Last Swordsman" Andros read the cover and sat on the dusty bed and read the contents.

Andros' face changed when reading the book, he got some enlightenment from the story in the book.

"It!!"

---

The more Andros read the book the more he could not stop because of the story in it. While the Veins who were watching also could not stop.

Thanks to this book Andros learned that the ancestors did not initially use magic but used inner power like himself. He also knew that this library contained science from his time.

Then the kitten in Vena's pet sizzled towards the bottom of the table like he saw a threat.

"What's Rin?" Ask Vena and then lift the cat up.

It leapt towards Andros and nimbly avoided that large lump of blood-red liquid.

"What is that thing?" Andros was on guard while Vena stood behind Andros.

The viscous liquid moved and then jumped back to Andros, with agile Andros avoiding any lunge of the object.

But what makes Andros astonished is that Vein like it was not cared for by the object, the liquid just attacked Andros.

Andros saw a glass jar in the cupboard and picked it up, when the liquid jumped Andros opened the jar and put the viscous liquid in it and closed the jar.

"What's that thing?, disgusting."

"Come" Andros took the book out with Vena to the lakeside lodge. Andros intended to finish his reading first.

Andros read each sheet at the nearby Venas but Venas attention was not entirely on the book but partly on Andros' enthusiastic face.

While the black cat named Rin was stroking himself on the hand of Vena, meowing slowly. They are both amazed by this story but Vena shakes her head slowly because she finds a resemblance between Andros and One character in this book.

At the end of the book is a page written by blood..

'Chaos is everywhere in the world, peace is a mirage in the hot desert, the lives of human children drift every day, wounds form every minute and blood is shed every second.

The price of human life feels no more precious than insects, they slaughter each other Just for strength, I'm no exception.

I painted the Canvas of my life with the Sword as the Brush and Blood as the Ink.

I once found a warmth within a person but ruthlessly destiny took him away from me.

I who am fed up with this world take up arms but not to the enemy or the wicked, but to this world.

With a sword in hand I incarnate into Despair and finish it all to nothing.

With a sword I betrayed everything

With a sword I took it all away.

This is a story about the birth of a monster, a Human-Fangled Monster. the birth of the Swordsman Who Hunts the other Swordsman.'

After a long read of closing the book with a long sigh, he imagined it was in the position of the swordsman. He hates to admit that the author's view has a point, The hole in the human heart cannot be satisfied. So that they will continue to look for something to close the hole.

Greed and selfishness are hard mental illnesses to heal, and peace is a precious gem that not many want while revenge is a forbidden fruit that everyone longs for.

How do we escape this deceitful world?, the only path is death. And that is the path that the writer takes. The bloody path he must take for a better future.

Andros realized that the Search for power was a never-ending circle of sin. On the cover of the book it is written.

'when you get to the top you won't see victory over it, you'll find that you're just standing alone. you will see only endless blood and crying and an eternal emptiness.'

Andros only sighed repeatedly until an authoritative-sounding voice appeared from behind.
