Lontara 25: Old Friends

The man opened his eyes. He got up and rubbed his eyes and sighed softly.

He put on his straw hat and stood up and took his sword. He lit a cigarette and then sucked the smoke slowly. The dream brought back memories he hated most. The sun had not yet risen yet but it was nimbly moving up the mountain leaping over the rocks and the ground.

The man was standing on a high mountain, he smoked his cigarette and exhaled it, the sun was still ashamed to come out of the horizon line and the air was so cold up there but the man seemed unaffected by the coldness of the mountain peak.

He's waiting for something. Scar had been a Demonic Beast Hunter for decades, he had killed so many high-level Demonic Beasts with his sword.

From inside the mountain, something screamed. He turned off and threw away the cigarette he was smoking and removed the chains wrapped around his body and connected it with a sword that had a unique shape from his back basket.

Jdar!!

Something big and had wings coming out of the mountain body and then making a creepy sound, Scar coated his chain with his magic and threw it towards the Monster Bird at high speed.

The sword stuck at the foot of the Demonic Beast. The beast screamed and flapped its wings more forcefully to make Scar drawn into the air but what happened next shocked him.

Scar did not budge, he pulled the chain up and pulled the chain slowly making the large bird approach, the bird shouted loudly and then shot a large fireball from its mouth.

"Curtain, Sacred Earth Magic - Gaia's Hand!" Scar took out a high-level earth Magic in the form of a rock giant hand from behind him and struck the fireball.

That Demonic Beast was Crimson Blood Bird, a One Star Wizard-level Magic Beast.

"From you!, Ugly Bird!!" Scar pulled with his full strength. The bird was attracted then Scar twisted the chain in midair. The bird swirled in space with Scar at its center, his huge body so easily swiveled by Scar.

"Hraaaagghhh!" Scar directly slammed the bird into the body of the mountain until a large crater was formed on the side of the mountain. The bird lay limp before slipping to the foot of the mountain.

In the magic world It is impossible for one to destroy a mountain if it reaches the level of the Three Star Wizard like Scar, he is one of the famous heroes in the magic world only he limited himself in fighting and did not want to be involved in any events related to the magic world. Unless it had to do with Demonic Beasts.

It was not known what the reason for killing so many Demonic Beasts was but, thanks to it, the population of Demonic Beasts could be controlled. With such strength he should have gotten a high position in the big sect but he refused all the invitations raw when such a position was very much desired.

Scar pulled two swords from his waist, and landed in front of the bird.

"Come, let's play a little bird for a while" Scar played his sword and advanced.

That Crimson Blood Bird was letting out heat from his body, both of his wings had been broken so he had no other choice but to fight back.

"Good, comfort me a little!" Scar advanced with both of his swords.

The hot air from the Monster's body made Scar's movements limited but above him, Scar took out his Ice sword and shot out a cold aura from it.

They exchanged several hundred attacks, although it looks balanced actually Scar only toyed with the Crimson Bird. If only he was serious then now that Crimson Bird was dead.

"You're happy to play with your prey, Scar. Or the Infinity Sword Master ." A man's voice rang out behind Scar, he already felt that someone was watching him but he knew very well who was watching him therefore he did not care about him.

Scar looked then at a man with a Big Revolver in his hand, the weapon emitted smoke as it had just been fired.

A man wearing long clothes that only covered the left part of his body as well as big pants. The right part of his body is left open and shows his muscular body. On his waist hung a gourd jug and a place for his revolver pistol. Both of the young man's eyes were closed. Although he looks young the same age as Scar he uses certain magic that keeps him young.

This young man is known by the nickname 'Blind Snapshooter' . A Hero of Three Star Wizard with a unique way of fighting, he has a weapon called a revolver. Although a shooter he always closes both eyes and never misses.

She smiles at Scar but is only coldly stared at by Scar. He did not want to see his old friend.

"What do you want Raiden!?" Scar pulled back the chain and reinserted his sword.

"What if we were to clash with each other's abilities?, hadn't we met for a long time?. I wanted to test the Magic that made you famous as the 'Infinity Sword Master' "the young man smiled yet he was still seen closing his eyes.

"Currently, you challenge me?. Even if we are old friends, I will kill you here. If only you hadn't left us that time, she would still be alive now?!" Scar pulled out two of his swords.

The young man only smiled in response to Scar's remark, Scar mounted the horses and then took out a huge Magic.

"Look, you haven't even been looking for us for decades!" Scar attacked and was greeted by the young man.

They exchanged a few moves but the young man did not use his gun he only used the Sharp blades that were on both of his calves.

"Even you don't care if we're alive or not, where the friendship you mentioned was, where you were when we needed to be!. You instead went missing and let us face the Thousand Demonic Beasts, until.." Scar's breath seemed to be getting stuck because he remembered the past.

The young man was just silent while fending off Scar's attack.

"Take care of me, coward!" Scar kicked Raiden back a few steps. Then threw the entire sword in his basket into the air and stuck the four swords on the ground.

All the swords that were thrown were stuck on the ground and surrounded the two of them. Scar released massive amounts of magic energy.

"I'll show you why I'm nicknamed Infinity Sword Master" Scar took out his strongest magic.

"Heaven Sword Magic - Unlimited Blade Works!!" The entire sword floated in the air and there appeared numerous magic circles in the sky, each magic circle was issuing a powerful magic sword, each sword was a Magic Heirloom. But before Scar attacked he felt pressure preventing him from casting his magic.
