Kobold and Plan I

Behind the bushes we lurked.

Whatisit? What other creatures are these?

Obviously they are not human. They have a hairy body and a face similar to that of a dog. They can stand on both feet.

Are they werewolves?

" What are they, Archilles?" Saying slowly.

" They're kobolds, sir."

" Kobolds? "

" Right, Sir. That's the name of their race as far as I know. "

" Can they be spoken to?"

" They can talk. However, they are flesh-eating creatures, sir. So, I think they won't want to talk to us. We used to be in conflict with them."

" so. Then, are they strong? Do they have special skills or something? "

" They are strong, sir. For my ability I believe their smell and movement is quite troublesome. "

That's right what Archilles said. They seem to be sniffing something in the air.

Our smell should not be able to be smelled in their direction because the wind is moving towards us. However, it seems like their smell is sharper than I thought.

At the moment they don't fully know our position but I don't think it will last long.

There's 6 kobolds. I know enough there are 3 dog-like that I have had or have seen. They all somehow get dressed like humans.

With 2 large ones there wearing armor and 4 others wearing fairly shabby clothes. Definitely those 2 people were the leaders of their group and the other 4 were just ordinary members. They all used swords of a size that was not too big.

Shift my eyes. I saw something different with them lying unconscious. There were 4 people there.3 people seemed to be similar to Elves while 1 more person was a middle-aged man. Their clothes were tattered and some were covered in blood. For that middle-aged man I guess it has been lifeless. But for the other three I don't know because it's not very clear when I see it from here.

" That! " Suddenly this Elf girl panicked.

" Do you know them?"

" 3 of them are friends from my village. "

" Is so. They seem to be having bad luck. "

" sir? "

" What? "

" ... "

Helping them?

The three kobolds didn't look very strong and that one despite having a slightly larger size, but I don't think it would be too far away from the three of them so it's possible I could still deal with it.

But, the problem was the two who stood wearing armor there. Besides being big, they also look strong. 2 people that make me doubt.

" Sir?"

Will just me and Archilles be enough? After all given my condition, am I strong enough to fight?

" sir? Hey Mister! Hm-"

Ah shit!! One of the creature's ears reacted and he started looking here. I quickly stuffed the mouth of this noisy girl.

" We're backing out!"

" Hm hm "The girl shook her head a sign of disapproval.

" enough! Shut up or I'll leave you here! Let's hurry up Archiles!" Hardikku with a soft voice.

I began to carry this Elf Girl over me.

Slowly but did not waste our time leaving the area.

" Fruit. Why are we backing down! What are you really thinking!! " He immediately shouted and voiced his protest when I had opened his mouth.

" I was thinking. Quiet down!"

I need to hurry before they can find me. Their smell is sharp and they look strong.

" Archilles? "

" Yes, Mister?"

" As you say. They look strong and their smell is sharp. Anything else I need to know?"

" They're pretty nimble. Besides, I don't think their hearing was good enough. "

" does? It seems we can't beat them! Better get them!"

"No way! "

The face of the Elf Girl seemed to be shocked and could not believe what I had said.
