Army Angel: The Dark Side

Intermission Part 5

Knowing that the Emperor did not object to the common language used, provided the language was polite. The five of them felt relieved, then each of them followed speaking,

"All right, I'm next. My name is Michael Dennis. I'm from America, a 20-year-old student."

Following the same steps as Yuki, the young man who had short blond hair and wore armor that was similar in design to the cross knight introduced himself and followed the pose that Yuki showed.

''Is it Mr Denis? Thank you for introducing yourself.''

Note: Mr & Miss here does not mean to have a higher or equal standing. Mister & Miss was only used to show the emperor respect to his interlocutors but the emperor's standing was still higher than theirs.

'' My name is Hashimura Rei. I am also from Japan. 16 Years old and an archery athlete!''

As he said, the arrow weapon with a beautiful complicated interior was in his left hand. Having a slim body and not too high Rei introduced himself.

'' Then let me introduce myself. My name is Albert Derkavista, you can call me Albert. I am from Hungary. 22 Year old. I am a bodybuilder athlete. "

The man who carried a large shield in his left hand and a 1m long sword in his right hand that was in harmony with his great stature came forward and introduced himself while bowing his head indicating his respect for the Emperor.

And the last one,

''My name is Alexander Midigretifov. You can call me Alex, I'm from Germany at 21, a student of literature."

A bespectacled man holding a beautifully patterned stick in his left hand came forward and introduced himself.

"Thank you for introducing yourself. Without further ado, as if you had been told of the present state. So is there anything you want to ask? "

" I'm sorry about your Majesty? But what is the benefit to us if we help this country and risk our lives? ''

''You will have honor, wealth, and office under my auspices. This country is a country that recognizes the loyalty and achievements that a person has no matter from which circles it comes. So if you prove the achievements and loyalty you have, then we will give you the right gift! "

Hearing this, the five of them were slightly delighted and looked relieved simultaneously.

'' What gifts will we receive later? "

"You can receive gifts in the form of territory and the position of nobility or position in this Empire. But it all depends on the achievements the five of you have achieved!"

"So so. All right I understand. We are promised wealth and prosperity huh?''

"More or less like that."

Hearing this answer the five of them felt very happy. Ignoring the fact that they can't go home, in fact they have no problem.

Not that they have no family or friends waiting for them, but the fact is that they are people who have the desire to become Heroes and live in a world where war and magic are like this.

A world they can only imagine in their imagination every day. However, their wishes have come true today.

Not only that, they were also promised a good and prosperous life when working for the Empire. So they no longer need to worry about food, shelter and work.

It is like two birds with one stone. Their desire to be a revered hero can be realized and their lives will be assured.

'' Is there still anyone asked again?'' The Emperor asked them, but they were silent which meant no more questions. Seeing this, the Emperor continued,

''If there is no question. Nowow. Will you be the shield and spear that will protect and serve me? ARE YOU WILLING TO PROMISE YOUR LOYALTY TO ME AND THIS COUNTRY? "

''WE'RE WILLING!!'' X5.

The five of them shouted in unison to answer the Emperor's request and shout, then the five of them knelt down with their heads lowered.

The light shone on the Emperor and the five heroes. A contract of cooperation of summoning has been successfully made.

The meeting was over and the heroes were ushered by the servants into their respective rooms. The emperor told them that their training started 2 more days so they could rest during the time lag.
