Did Something Happen That Night?

Ricky woke up when his phone rang. He immediately flinched when he found the name that appeared on his phone. He immediately turned his watch which has now shown at 09.10 minutes.

" Hello, where are you now, Rick?" A man's voice was heard from his cell phone.

" I'm sorry, Mr. Dirga. I'm still in Malang."

" You're still there? Didn't I ask you to attend the ten o'clock meeting?"

" Yes, Sir. I'm sorry I have a little trouble here."

" You got a problem? What problems??"

" Emm, last night I hit people, sir. And I have to clean it up first."

" Then what now? Already settled?"

" Yes, sir."

" Hurry back to Jakarta if all is in order."

" Good, Mr. Dirga."

After Dirga, the boss of Ricky was done calling him, Ricky immediately went to the toilet in the hotel room where he was staying.

Ricky stopped his movement by linking the buttons to his shirt as he stared at his body in the reflection of the glass. He sighed deeply as he recalled last night's incident.

What happened to that poor woman? And he himself did not have time to find out where the woman lived, even he himself did not know where the scene was last night.

" I'm sorry, Miss. .. I promise I'll find you as soon as I can."

Anindita was pensive on her bed. He had no idea what would happen to him the next day after last night's tragedy.

" O God, why do you torment me with such a problem?" anindita cried bitterly as she hugged her knees and drowned her face there.

Anindita glanced at her phone which read, Koh Leo's name appears on her phone screen. One hand she wiped her tears, one hand raised the phone from Koh Leo.

" Hello, Koh ..." Anindita answered the phone call from her boss.

" Nin, said Yahya you are sick? What are you sick with? Last night coming home from the store you looked healthy and well. Did something happen last night, Nin?" ask Koh Leo to worry.

" I'm okay, Koh." Anindita tried to deny.

" You don't lie to Koko, Nin. Yahya says your eyes are puffy, you've been crying? If you have a problem you just tell, do not hold it yourself. Honestly last night when you came home, the feeling of Koko was a bit worried to see you go home alone through a dark and lonely road where you live. Are you really okay with this?" Koh Leo was unsure of Anindita's confession.

" I-yeah, Koh. I'm okay." Anindita tried to convince her boss. Koh Leo is known to have a very humble attitude to its employees. His empathy for employees who are being hit by accidents is also very large. No wonder if his efforts are blessed until the longer the more advanced.

" Your voice is like crying. Yahya said look at your eyes, now Koko heard your voice sound like you were crying. What's the matter, Nin?" Hearing Koh Leo's words made Anindita unable to resist sobbing. Suddenly, Anindita's cry broke.

" Nin, hey .. Why are you?" Koh Leo raised his tone. But there was no answer coming out of Anindita's mouth only the sound of Isak crying continued to be heard.

" What's wrong with you, Nin? What's the problem?" Instantly anxiety struck Koh Leo's heart, but the question returned to neither get an answer.

" Mi, Mami .. follow Papi to Anin's place." Koh Leo called Sandra, his wife who had just arrived at the minimarket owned by Koh Leo.

" What's the matter, Pi?" ask Sandra.

" We're gonna find out right there now." Koh Leo immediately grabbed Sandra's hand. " Yahya, Koko wants to go to Anin's place first, drop off the store, yeah."

" Anin why, Koh?" Yahya was immediately visibly riled up when Koh Leo said he was going to Anindita's house.

" Koko will tell you later" Koh Leo said. " Koko tipped the shop," he continued.

" Okay, Koh." Yahya answered. Before finally Koh Leo and Sandra rushed to Anindita's residence.

" Nin, Anin .. open the door, Nin." Koh Leo banged on the door of Anindita's rented house. " Nin, it's Koko and Cici." Koh Leo kept knocking on the door.

" Do you need to break it down, Pi?" ask Sandra.

" What then, dong? Anin didn't open the door." Sandra started to worry. " What if Anin kills himself, Pi?"

" Don't just talk, Mi." scolded Koh Leo.

" Nine, Anin ...! Nin, open the door, Nin ...!" scream Sandra.

" Fast hour usually goes to his people's work." Someone's talking from the alley.

" Do you know where Anin works?" koh Leo asked deliberately asked like that to the man in front of Anindita's contract.

" In the convenience store if not wrong." The man disobeyed.

" I'm the owner of the minimarket and today Anin did not leave." Koh Leo explained.

" Oh, is this the boss? Then maybe he's hiding because he's being billed for rent." The man said as he passed away leaving Koh Leo and Sandra.

But soon after the door to the living room of Anindita's rented house opened.

" Nin, what's wrong with you?" Sandra directly barged inside as the door opened and saw Anindita's figure that looked very chaotic. " Your body is hot gini, you know. Let's go to the doctor." Sandra asks her husband to take Anindita to the doctor but Anindita refuses.

" What's wrong with you, Nin? What's the problem?" Koh Leo asked the same question.

Sandra immediately led Anindita to sit on the carpet in the living room.

" What's the matter, Nin?" Sandra rubbed gently on Anindita's back.

Anindita did not answer just speechless as she continued to sob.

" Nin, did anyone hurt you?" ask Sandra.

" Is the person who owns this contract being rude about charging the rent?" Koh Leo asked his wife.

Anindita shook her head slowly while wiping her tears.

" Why are you crying?" Koh Leo was getting curious.

" I'm fine, Koh." Anindita keeps covering.

" You don't lie, Nin. You were called crying. What's actually going on? Don't cover up if you have a problem." Koh Leo still urged Anindita to tell the truth.

" Nin, let's just talk in your room, yuk." Sandra helped Anindita's body to stand up.

" Pi, let Mami talk to Anin first." Sandra chose to have a one-on-one talk with Anindita and asked her husband to wait in the living room.

" Nin, same story Cici, actually why are you like this? Koko said last night you went home alone and were fine. Why are you like this now."

Anindita bit her lips trying not to keep shedding tears.

" Nin, even if you're just a store clerk, but we already think of you as family. So you don't mind Cici talking about your real problems."

" Has anyone harmed you, Nin?" Sandra asked in a pretty careful tone.

" Hiks .. hiks ..." Anindita's tears broke when she heard Sandra's question.

" Nn ..." Sandra clasped Anindita's hand which was hot with fever. " Same story Cici, did something happen that night when you came home from the store?" Sandra herself felt thumping as she asked that. Somehow an uncomfortable feeling rippled through his heart.

Anindita swallowed her saliva by enduring the tightness in her chest.

" I-I'm, I-I'm being told*sa, Ci." With a trembling tone Anindita said the misfortune that befell her that night.
