Bonchap 5 - Shouldn't Be Selfish

Ricky looked at Anindita who had just removed the hair tie that tied her long hair. Anindita then opened her nightshirt until now she only wore baby blue lingerie made from satin to the knee.

Anindita then walked towards the bed where Ricky was waiting with a smile on his lips. Ricky then spread his arms, as if preparing his arm to be the headrest of his wife.

Anindita then spread her body with her head leaning against Ricky's sturdy arm.

" How is Rama today? Has he been able to adapt to his school?" ask Ricky, because today is Ramadan after starting elementary school.

" Yes, he was very happy because he could be in a new school, but many of his Kindergarten friends who also went to school there. So Rama has not had much trouble adapting to them" Anindita explained.

" Thank God then. Then how about Arka? Dessy said what?" ricky asked, because these days Arka looks cranky and thuggish.

" It's okay, it's because of the effects of Arka's teeth that have started to grow a lot." Anindita explained what her sister-in-law had said.

" That's all? No problems with Arka's health?" Ricky was really looking at Arka like his own son.

" Dessy said it was like that." Anindita glanced at her husband.

Ricky nodded his head to understand what Anindita was explaining.

" Anin, we've been married for over a year, haven't you had any signs of getting pregnant yet?"

Anindita swallows her saliva when Ricky asks about pregnancy. She never told me about the contraception she used during her marriage.

" When I made a mistake, you immediately became pregnant with Rama. When married to Mr. Arya, not long have you been pregnant Arka."

" Sorry, Mas. I'm using contraception." Anindita immediately made a confession about her decision to delay pregnancy.

Ricky looks surprised by Anindita's confession, even a clear grunt is heard in Anindita's ear.

" Why are you using contraception? Don't you want to have another child from me?" Ricky's tone now sounded serious. He even changed his position until now sitting down.

" I'm sorry, Mas." Anindita regretted. " I just don't want to rush into pregnancy because Arka's still a kid." Anindita mentioned the reason.

" Why didn't you say that to me before? Why not discuss it first when you want to make a decision about this?" Ricky looks disappointed with Anindita's unwinding to him.

Anindita just fell down to hear Ricky's words. He felt wrong that he did not refute Ricky's words.

" You know what, Anin? Our marriage is not just a joke. Not just taking responsibility for my past mistakes. But because I really want to build a household based on mutual trust and open to each other."

Ricky then got out of bed.

" You go to sleep first." Ricky tells Anindita to go to bed first, while he steps out of the room towards his study.

Anindita looked at Ricky's back who was walking away from her sight. She truly felt that her husband was currently in a state of anger. There's nothing wrong with her delaying pregnancy because Arka was a child, the problem is she's not honest and doesn't ask Ricky for his approval first. That's what made Ricky feel disappointed in him. And the anger of Ricky who moved away from him instantly made Anindita's heart sad until without feeling a drop of tears dripping on her cheek.

Anindita then took the sleeping Ark from her box. He then stepped into Ramadhan's room. Anindita saw her firstborn asleep in bed. Then he shifted the sleeping position of Ramadan after placing Arka first in the middle of the bed. After that he joined his two children on a single mattress measuring one hundred and twenty centimeters. Anindita held out her arms around Arka and Ramadhan's body, while tears continued to flow down her cheeks unstoppably.

Meanwhile, in his study, Ricky was seen leaning his body into a chair with his legs crossed on the table. She was very disappointed with Anindita's attitude because of Anindita's unilateral decision to delay the pregnancy without her consent.

After half an hour of contemplation in his study, Ricky decided to return to his room.

Twenty minutes later Ricky waited for Anindita to return, but his wife was not seen entering the room until Ricky turned to the door. Ricky then got up and stepped outside the room to head towards the kitchen where he suspected his wife was currently there.

Ricky frowned when he did not find Anindita in the kitchen, so he decided to go back to his room. Arriving in Ricky's room looking at Arka's bed box, he did not find any children. Ricky then turned his head toward the door that called to Ramadan's room.

Ricky opened the door of the connecting room with Ramadhan's room slowly, of course he did not want to wake his son who might be sleeping. And when the door opened, he found his wife and two children sleeping in a narrow bed.

Ricky breathed deeply. There is regret in Ricky's heart because his attitude was too excessive so Anindita chose to sleep with her children.

Ricky is now walking closer to Ramadan's bed.

" Anin, wake up ... Why are you sleeping here?" Ricky patted Anindita's arm trying to wake her sleeping wife.

" Anin, let's move! Poor Arka and Rama sleep narrowly crammed like this." Ricky woke Anindita.

" May ...."

Anindita wakes up after Ricky wakes her up for the third time.

" M-mas ..." Anindita looks surprised because Ricky is now at her side.

No different from Anindita, Ricky was shocked because he found Anindita's eyes that he made sure if Anindita cried earlier, and he was the cause of Anindita crying.

Ricky's hand then cupped the beautiful face of Anindita until now his finger wiped the tears that are still left in the corner of Anindita's eyes.

" I'm sorry, Mas. I'm not being honest with you about the contraception I'm using." Anindita recited her regret.

" I'm the one who should be sorry, Anin. I should have understood you. I shouldn't have been selfish. I'm sorry, are you?" Ricky is now showering Anindita's face with a kiss, to make Anindita even sobbing, because he thinks if Ricky will be angry turns out it did not happen.

" Hey, why are you crying? I've already apologized. Let's forget about the talk, okay?!" Ricky then hugged Anindita and drowned Anindita's body into her arms until Anindita felt calm and stopped sobbing.

" We're back in the room now." Ricky then lifted Arka's small body back and brought the child Aryan flesh-blooded child back to his bed box. After that he also laid his body on the bed by hugging Anindita's body as if to give comfort to his wife.
