The Story of Ricky

Ricky chose the attitude to hug Anindita because the woman was crying after hearing her words. She guessed that Anindita felt offended and upset at him because of the sentence he said to her. It was unthinkable for her if Anindita felt sad to be reminded of her husband who had left her.

Ricky was completely unaware that the woman was currently in a deep confusion. When she feels heavy to be abandoned forever by her beloved husband, suddenly there is a man who blatantly declares to marry her for the sake of Arya's request who is present in the dreamland of the man. Even Arya's departure has not even forty days, how could she think of making a return home.

" I'm sorry I hurt you, Anin."

Anindita realized that at this time she was in the arms of another man to make her quickly escape from the arms of Ricky's burly body.

" You eat now, yeah. Rama would be sad if his mother was sick like this." Ricky then took back the bed tray he had prepared in front of Anin. He then arranged a pillow so that it can be used to lean.

" You lean on me, let me feed you." Ricky then took out a plate containing rice and omelets, he also took a bowl of soup. " Eat ..." Ricky spooned the rice that he had mixed with red bean soup into Anindita's mouth making Anindita stunned to stare at the spoon filled with rice and side dishes, then he looked towards Ricky who nodded his head asking Anindita to take her bribe. Although with a somewhat hesitant attitude, Anindita finally opened her mouth and wanted to receive a few spoons of rice fed by Ricky.

" It's ..." Anindita held back Ricky's hand that wanted to feed her back because she felt full.

" You just ate five mouthfuls, which is full for two, you and your baby." Ricky protested against Anindita who asked to stop eating.

" I'm full already." Anindita.

" Eat the soup then." Ricky then spooned the soup containing chunks of carrots, broccoli and kidney beans.

" Eating vegetables like this is good for pregnant women." Ricky was finally able to get Anindita's mouth open and received spoon by spoon the vegetable soup he had prepared for Anindita.

After giving the mineral water, Ricky then took a plate containing oranges that he had peeled.

" Had eaten the vegetables, now the fruits were left." Ricky has now pointed a small fork into an orange that he has taken off one-on-one.

" I'm full already." Anindita refused again because she was full.

" Little bit, eat the fruit! You heard Rama asking you to get well soon?"

The sound of the bell rang to make Ricky put the plate containing citrus fruits back on the tray.

" It must be Dessy, I open the door first." Ricky leaves Anindita's room for the living room.

While Anindita then sighed long, facing Ricky like before made her heart beat fast and her heart pounding until she closed her eyes trying to dispel all the feelings that appeared in her heart.

" Assalamualaikum, Ms. Anin ...."

Anindita opened her eyes and turned her head towards the voice that sounded from the direction of her bedroom door. He saw a beautiful hijab woman enter his room.

" Neurova ..." Anindita said the greeting spoken by Dessy.

" Sir Anin, what pain?" tanya Dessy who walked closer towards Anindita was followed by Ricky behind her.

" The body is hot, the head is dizzy too." Ricky answered his sister's question.

" I asked Ms. Anin, Brother! Not ask the brother! Has he changed his name now?" Dessy insinuates her brother, but what Dessy says not only makes Ricky shunned, but Anindita also feels ashamed.

" Or is Ricky's brother retired as his assistant Kak Dirga, and now his personal assistant Mbak Anin?" Dessy's still insinuating Ricky.

" If you tell me to check on Ma'am Anin, yes Brother leave here, dong! Why is Brother still here?" ask Dessy. " Look like a standby husband, halalin first dong, so!"

Dessy's last insinuation both made Anindita and Ricky both gasp and the two humans were equally misbehaved. Ricky also chose to get out of Anindita's room than he would continue to be humiliated by his sister continuously.

" Anin's mom how are you?" dessy asked after Ricky disappeared from the room.

" I'm fine, Ma'am, just a little dizzy." Anindita.

" It must be because of Ricky, huh? Forgive my sister, yes. He's been in the singles for too long so he doesn't know how to deal with women."

Anindita frowned at Dessy's words. How can Dessy guess if Ricky was the one who made his head suddenly dizzy. Though yesterday afternoon after saying goodbye to Lucy for lunch, Anindita is still in good condition. But since hearing the conversation between Dirga and Ricky, Ricky's remark that if the man intends to marry her and will seize Ramadan makes him instantly shocked.

" I'm sorry Brother Ricky if all this time made Mbak Anin's heart upset. Ricky is actually kind and very responsible to the family. At least that's what my mom and I felt. Ricky was fifteen years old and I was only ten when our father had a work accident and died. Since then, Ricky has focused on making a living replacing our father. Although finally Mr. Poetra, the big boss at the company where our father worked raised us as his adopted children. But that doesn't make Ricky just sit back and hold hands."

Anindita looked at Dessy with a frown. He did hear a story from Kirania about the past Ricky who became the adopted son of Dirga's parents.

" Sister Ricky always diligently studied and worked, although at that time Mr. Poetra guaranteed our family life but Ricky was not ashamed to make a living since entering High School. The morning before school, Ricky worked to deliver newspapers. After school, Ricky's sister works odd jobs at the printing press sometimes at the brooding place."

" But despite helping to make a living, Ricky never forgot about education. Therefore, when he graduated High School, Mr. Poetra finally raised Brother to work in his office. Until finally Ricky managed to reach the position as Executive Assistant in the company of Mr. Poetra because of tenacity, honesty and also loyalty shown by Kak Ricky so far."

" Since adolescence in the brain Ricky just study and work, until finally Ricky's brother forget about his personal life and never close to a woman."

" Until one day Ricky came to my house and said that he had forcibly taken the chastity of an innocent kindhearted woman."

Anindita took a breath that felt so tight to hear Dessy mention about the events that happened almost six years ago.

" Sister Ricky to his tears because he really felt guilty for what he did to an innocent woman. Since that incident, for years Ricky continued to try to find the woman who had been the victim, until finally Brother Ricky was reunited with the woman who turned out to be Mbak Anin."

" Sister Ricky was so happy when he told me that you guys he'd found." Dessy then clasped Anindita's hand.

" I know what Brother Ricky did was a commendable thing. But I hope Mbak Anin can forgive Brother Ricky, because all this time Brother Ricky has been struggling to find you two to be responsible for what he did first."

Anindita swallowed her saliva, I don't know how many times she heard the story of Ricky who had been looking for her, but until now it feels like her heart is still difficult to knock with Ricky's sincerity to him all this time.

" Geez, I was told to come here because I was told to check on Ms. Anin, why so rambunctious like this, huh? If Brother Ricky knows, later he can grumble again. Sorry, Miss Anin." Dessy chuckles because she is preoccupied with telling her brother until he forgets his duty to check on Anindita.
