The conversation between Almeer and Sora turned formal when they entered Almeer's room. The sparkle in Sora's eyes continued to stare at the handsome-looking man who was at the end of the table as the meeting leader. The cells in his brain were so contaminated with everything about Almeer that he didn't care if some of the people in the room were discussing something serious.
The face of Almeer who always smiled in front of Sora was now invisible. Something new for Sora when he saw Almeer was very serious, his gaze was so sharp, his mouth was arguing with Prany to find a bright spot between the two companies so that later no one would feel harmed each other.
A smiley Almeer with sparkling eyes or a resolute Almeer with sharp eyes, both are so dazzling, awesome and able to take over the world of Sora.
Why is that guy so quick to make my heart beat so hard? I don't even have enough patience to fall in love anymore. Inner Sora.
"Ra ...," Laura nudged Sora's elbow.
"Hmm?" Sora replied without taking his eyes off Almeer's face.
"Needing, Ra. Nud." Whisper Laura.
Sora sighed and lowered his head, pretending to write something on his agenda book.
Long time in the room that makes Sora little understand what cooperation will be established between his company and the company Almeer. He was grateful that he would meet Almeer more often.
Their meeting stopped when the Ashar adhan reverberated. Their talks have ended in a cooperation agreement between the two companies. Prany was immediately said goodbye followed by Laura and Sora.
Almeer and his secretary escort Prany, Laura and Sora to the lobby.
"We're saying goodbye, Mr. Almeer." Prany said when his car had stopped in front of the lobby door.
"Together, Mr. Prany. Be careful on the road." Almeer.
Prany looked at Sora and Laura, "Let's go in as well." Prany.
"Good, sir." Laura answered, she and Prany entered in the back seat.
While Sora was still standing staring at Almeer unwillingly if he had to part ways.
"Come, Sora." Laura Pinta from the car.
"Yeah." answered Sora, his gaze still turned away from Almeer.
The man drew closer to Sora, "Half-five, zero-kilometer point of Jogjakarta." Almeer Whisperers.
Hearing that, the smile on Sora's lips returned. He nodded and received a faint smile from Almeer.
"I'll go first, Al." Sora said without a sound and got into the car.
Almeer nodded and let the car that was carrying Sora leave the courtyard of his office.
"Mas Almeer rich' knows the same deket new secretary Pak Prany?" tanya Yota, Almeer's personal secretary and assistant.
Almeer nodded, "Why?" ask Almeer.
"Normally the ones who do ngedeketin mas ukhti-ukhti are wide-hooded, but this one is why it should be different, huh? but if it's beautiful, it's the most beautiful."
Almeer stepped into the lobby, Yota immediately followed him.
"You see if she wears a veil that melts, Ta." Almeer.
"Mas Al have you seen?"
Almeer.
"Ooooh, so Mas Al has met the Khadijah of Mas Al?" ask Yota.
Almeer just stared at Yota expressionlessly, he continued his steps without answering Yota's question.
Meanwhile, the woman they were talking about was still unable to stop smiling considering that she was making an appointment with the person she had been waiting for a long time.
"Sora, you know Mr Almeer?"
Prany's question makes Sora have to remove Almeer's shadow from his mind. He thought for a moment to be honest or lie.
"We've only met before." Sora replied without taking his eyes off the streets of Jogja.
"I think you're a woman who has a special relationship with Mr. Almeer." Prany.
Prany's words made Sora look back at the back seat, "Pak Almeer already has a lover?" ask Sora.
"Maybe ...,"
Sora looked at Laura in search of the truth, but the woman only shrugged her shoulders giving no certainty. The sparkle in Sora's eyes faded for a moment, he looked back to the front bringing a disappointment.
"That's it, don't expect him too much." Prany said as if to know Sora's disappointment, "There are still many single men besides him. Find the closest one to you."
Sora tried to refrain from shuddering. It could be a spark of hell trying to tease him.
No response from Sora made the car quiet until they arrived at Actmedia office.
***
At exactly four in the afternoon Actmedia office hours have ended. Already getting some information from Laura about the zero-kilometer point of Jogja, Sora also departed with the spirit of four-fifths.
"Hallo, Deck." In the middle of her trip to the loby, Sora tries to contact Mina. "So late, yeah. Brother wants to meet with sister first. So don't wait for brother, will you?" Sora continued when the phone was connected. A few nods and short answers came out of his mouth before he hung up his phone.
Sora's conversation in the elevator was quite attention to other employees. But Sora's insensitivity makes the woman look arrogant in the words of some female employees there. A cynical look was fixed on Sora, making her feel uneasy and venturing back at that gaze.
"You know the insider here?" asked one of the short-haired women beside Sora.
"Why ask like that?" Sora asked back.
"It's weird why suddenly there are new employees enter and immediately get a position as secretary of the production team manager. While many other employees here already have experience and deserve it."
"Maybe my luck." Sora replied without any burden, leaving the people in the elevator dumbfounded.
Trings.
The elevator door opened and Sora went outside without greeting her seniors first. Of course it provoked the emotions of some people who could be said to be envious of him.
Sora stepped out of the loby, he saw Aga who was waiting for his car to come. Not much to say, Sora also stood beside Aga waiting for his driver to come.
"You're going home yet?" tanya Aga opened the conversation, looking at Sora who always looked haughty towards him.
"You?" Sora repeated Aga's greeting to her.
Aga did not respond, "Go to the parking lot, Mr. Khusno is waiting there." Aga.
Sora looked at Aga wanting to protest, but some of the office officials began to realize his existence and he knew that arguing with Aga made matters more complicated.
Sora finally left Aga in annoyance heading to the parking lot that was beside the building. It stole the attention of the short-haired woman who had been irritated by Sora in the elevator earlier. He ran small as if in a hurry to hit Sora's right arm.
"Aragh!" Due to the lack of balance, Sora fell down on the paving.
"Eh, I'm sorry." The woman who hit him reached out to help Sora.
Unthinkingly, Sora grabbed the woman's hand and stood up. He grimaced in pain to find his knee scratched. "Be careful dong." Grumpy Sora.
The footsteps could be heard approaching Sora, "Are you okay?"
Sora raised his face and saw that cold-faced man was putting on a worried face. Aga, the man leaned over to look at Sora's knee.
"What's wrong, sir." Sora replied, he glanced at the woman in front of him who was looking at him full of questions.
"I was walking in a hurry, accidentally bumped into this mbak." The short-haired woman.
Aga straightened his body, staring at the id card that was still hanging on the neck of the woman who was apologizing to him. "Arin ...," Aga read the name on the id card, "Other times be more careful. Don't hurt anyone else." Continue Aga.
The woman named Arin nodded, "Well, Mr. Director. Excuse me." Said Arin then hurriedly left.
"We'd better treat your wounds first, miss." Take Aga.
When he found his car, he immediately entered and asked his Khusno-sopir to drive him to zero kilometers in the city of Jogjakarta.
Hours of work make the car go slower. Over and over again he saw the clock in his hand. Almeer's allotted time had passed by a few minutes. He wanted to scream and even cry if he reached the location and Almeer was not there.
"Still far away, sir?" ask Sora.
"Udah deket, Non. live through one turn ahead of it only, Non. Patience, No." Answer Khusno.
"That's how I got down here, sir." Sora picked up his bag and looked back then got out of the car.
He ran a small walkway to find where the zero-kilometer point of the city of Jogja. He hoped Almeer would wait for him even if it was too late.
Until a crowd he expected if it was a place where Almeer made a promise. He doesn't know if it's gonna be that many. Of course it will take longer to find Almeer among the many people, considering he and Almeer both can not contact each other.
From end to end, Sora stared one by one at the man's face, hoping to find Almeer soon. One time he went around to steal the attention of young young men who spent their afternoon there. And the second time, it made them curious.
"Who's it from, Ma'am?"
"Only alone?"
Two men approached him
"Look at the guy, handsome, tall, has dimples—" Sora did not continue his sentence, he knew that the man would only tease him.
"Ooh, make a deal with guys, huh?" teased one of those men.
Sora did not want to waste his time and then left the two men behind. Unfortunately, the two men followed him. Studying Sora's steps on the right and left to make Sora uncomfortable and a little afraid.
Finally Sora decided to run away from the suspicious men and,
BRUG!
He hit someone's body when he was about to turn at a crossroads.
"Ma—"
"Sora!"
Sora closed his eyes, adjusted his breathing while tightly gripping the sleeve of the man's jacket he had been looking for.
"Why you?" ask Almeer worried.
Sora looked back, he saw that the two men who were teasing him had already walked in the other direction.
"There's a really bad guy, Al!" Answer Sora.
Almeer looked around, "Which one?" ask Almeer.
"Well, go, no." Sora pointed at the two men who had already walked away.
"You want me to go after them?" ask Almeer again.
Sora shook his head, "No, I don't want our time to be wasted because people don't matter."
Sora's reply made Almeer chuckle. "Well, we sit down first."
Sora nodded.
"Ouch!" Sora screeched as he just stepped up.
"What's sick, Sora?" ask Almeer worried.
Sora took off his high heels, there were some blisters on his legs that he might get when walking quickly when looking for Almeer earlier or when running to avoid two men who were trying to tease him earlier.
"Astagfirullah, Sora!" Almeer was surprised, "Sit down first." Take Almeer.
Sora nodded.
"You can still walk on your own, right?"
Sora who was hoping for more instantaneously nodded his head. "Yes." Yeah." His answer covered the small disappointment in his heart.
Almeer took Sora's high heels and took them, walking beside Sora to a bench embedded in the concrete sidewalk.
"You wait here, yeah, I'll buy something." Almeer said when he saw Sora sitting on a park bench.
Almeer's gaze was fixed on the red and slightly bloody scratches that were on one of Sora's knees. "You fell down too?" ask Almeer.
Sora looked at his knees and nodded, "Yes. Someone accidentally hit me." Answer Sora.
Almeer let out a long sigh, his face displeased at seeing the many wounds on Sora's legs. "I'll be right back." Almeer.
"Don't take it long."
Almeer smiled and nodded and then left. Not five steps, he returned and took off his jacket and placed it on Sora's thigh, covering his thighs and legs so that others were limited in noticing Sora.
"Don't open it." Almeer's message then ran away leaving Sora blushing in shame.
Long enough Almeer left Sora until finally Sora could see again the man was walking towards him carrying two cups of drinks and a minimarket plastic bag.
"Sorry, I'm old." Said Almeer, he gave a glass of drink to Sora.
Sora grabbed the drink and immediately gulped it down, "Thank you, yes." Sora said later.
Almeer sat next to Sora, opening the plastic bag she was carrying. A flip-flop he took out and he put it in front of Sora's feet.
"If not fasionable, but you need it to walk comfortably and hopefully the size fits." Almeer.
Sora immediately put it on, "Thank you, Al. It's comfortable." He moved his feet that were wearing sandals.
Almeer again took out a small bottle of antiseptic and some sheets of plaster. "You want to wear this?" ask Almeer.
"Antiseptic, yes."
Almeer gave Sora a cotton swab and an antiseptic bottle. "Pake it yourself, huh?"
Despite the mayun, Sora still nodded his head. He slightly revealed the jacket covering his knee and then cleaned the scars on his knees and small abrasions on his legs alternately with the antiseptic that Almeer carried.
"Other times make sure to be careful when you're on your way using this." Almeer.
Sora nodded, "I'm afraid you left me because I'm late." Answer Sora.
Almeer smiled and stared right in Sora's eyes who was still busy bowing to his feet, "No matter how late you are, I will still wait for you, Sora."
Sora gasped at the words coming out of Almeer's mouth, he looked at the beautiful-eyed man with a twinkle of happiness and a sweet-looking smile on his lips.
