Arsya walked with wide steps through the corridor to get to her apartment. Behind her was Alisha who desperately ran to follow her husband. His hand dragged the large suitcase he had brought from Surya Bagaspati's residence. Alisha struggled on her own without asking for help from her husband because she knew he would not care about her.
His breathing was sober when the heartless man opened the door of the apartment. The man even entered on his own without letting the woman who had been following him since.
There was nothing Alisha could do but rub her chest to hold back the upset and increase the patience. Even so Alisha still entered with the suitcase she dragged in her right hand.
"Gue there is no other room in this apartment other than the main room, because the other room I have made for my workspace. So like at Mama's house, you can use my room for a while." Arsya pointed to the main room in question.
Alisha followed the man back to enter the main room.
"Rules that you should remember well during your stay here. I don't like dirty places. Understand!"
Alisha nodded.
"Gue won't limit what you want to do, but one thing you should remember. Don't ever embarrass me!"
Alisha nodded back. He circulated his gaze, scanning the room that from today would be his residence. Arsya left his wife without saying goodbye.
However, before he actually went out of the room, Arsya flipped over his body and said, "One more thing, don't you ever think of eating jengkol if you still want to stay with me!" Words more akin to threats were uttered emphatically before Arsya actually left.
"Ok, I'll obey. After all I'm just a hitchhiker" Alisha said to herself.
Not wanting to dissolve in his mind that always feels sad, Alisha prefers to immediately see where she has to arrange the contents of her suitcase. Then he thought about cleaning up. He believes this apartment has not been cleaned because a week before they lived in the house of in-laws.
Finished doing all the work and has made this apartment neat and clean Alisha feels her stomach demands to be filled. Unfortunately when he opened the refrigerator, there was no material that could be cooked. It contained only canned drinks and also hard bread that had dried so long.
He was just looking to eat outside. Previously he saw the contents of his wallet which turned out there was only a hundred thousand pieces of money.
"When this money gets what, huh?" think Alisha.
If at his place of work first a hundred thousand money he can use to eat alone at least two meals. Because he eats more often in warteg or other roadside food stalls that are affordable for an employee like him.
But if here, in this apartment classified for the upper middle class he can buy what in the restaurant in this apartment. He couldn't possibly ask Arsya for money, nor did he know the man's mobile number.
"Ah .. Come on, I'm out first. Who knew I'd met a cheap food stall." Alisha rushed down.
When he was trying to find a restaurant, his eyes caught a mini market not far from the apartment. He also thought of shopping there. With the one hundred thousand dollars he had, Alisha could already buy eggs and instant noodles, as well as sausages.
He could not wait to process it because his stomach was already very rumbling. No kidding, Alisha cooks two packs of instant noodles at once plus two eggs and slices of sausage. It was inconceivable how full he was after finishing his own cooking.
"Uh .. very full." Alisha rubbed her full stomach. Just this time he ate greedily, because the last time he ate breakfast at his in-laws' house. Tonight he can eat with fullness.
Alisha bent her body, putting her head on the table. Intended to rest for a while before he entered the room while waiting for his stomach felt somewhat relieved.
Maybe because of tiredness and satiety, made Alisha fall asleep.
At about eleven in the evening, Arsya had just returned home. The first thing he saw was his wife sleeping in the bar stool. The man approached, looking at the empty bowl but still able to show if the contents of the bowl were instant noodles.
The man walked out of the refrigerator. There was nothing there but drinks. He also looked at the condition of the kitchen. There is only one cookware that is a used pot of cooking noodles used by Alisha. In the kitchen, he had no cookware. The pot that Alisha used was Jimmy who bought it. Because sometimes the manager was starving in the middle of the night while staying at Arsya's apartment.
"Hey, wake!" reworked.
Alisha's eyes felt heavy to open because she was really sleepy but the shock she felt forced her to open her eyes.
"Yes ...." Alisha immediately tiptoed while staring at Arsya's face in front of her.
"Ma-mas ... Arsya," said Alisha.
"Wake up, or are you going to sleep here?"
Alisha realized she was still in the kitchen. He immediately got up and brought the bowl as well as the glass he used to the sink.
Seeing Alisha washing her cutlery Arsya left her to the room. After finishing her cutlery Alisha followed to the room, the goal was the bathroom to change clothes and brush teeth.
How shocked Alisha was when she opened the bathroom door and found Arsya there too.
"Sorry, I don't know if anyone's inside." Alisha hurriedly came out and closed the door again. Before long the man came out with a towel wrapped around his lower body.
Alisha rushes in and locks the bathroom door as soon as Arsya comes out.
"Ish .. I'm stupid, why don't you remember if I'm living with that guy right now." Alisha patted her own eel. He stared at the glass in the bathroom and looked at himself. Take off the hijab she was wearing and put it in the laundry basket. Then wash your face and brush your teeth and change clothes. Do not forget he berwudhu because remember not to perform the prayer isya.
Forgetting to bring a clean instant hijab dressing, Alisha chose to cover her head with a towel. Then come out to take the mukena.
As he held the prayer, Arsya asked, "Lo shampooing these nights?" All of that was asked because he saw the winding of the towel on Alisha's head.
"Yes?" Alisha is confused by Arsya's intentions
Arsya touched her own head. From there Alisha came to her senses with a towel on her head. "Ah, this is yes, no, it's just that I forgot to bring the hijab."
After hearing his wife's answer Arsya chose to refocus on the phone in his hand. While Alisha immediately put on the mukena and performed prayers.
As soon as it was done, Arsya who had placed herself on Alisha's sofa went straight to the bed. It meant the same as at her in-laws' house if the man would give up and lend her bed to Alisha.
Suddenly the lights are extinguished by Arsya, making Alisha return in fear. He held onto the blanket that covered his body. Why the lights are always turned off, it makes Alisha feel uncomfortable.
"Mas, are you sleeping?" Alisha asked herself.
"Hem."
"It's okay if the lights are on, I can't sleep with the lights turned off."
Instead of answering, Arsya who was upset by Alisha's request actually got up from the sofa and came to the woman. He stood in front of Alisha.
"Mas ... Arsya, what do you want, Mas?" Alisha is getting scared to see Arsya in front of her.
