Aishiteru, Takah!

Aishiteru, Takah!
Chapter 22's

Shinoda and the other personnel had been able to leave the police station while Taka and I were still undergoing questioning. While here, there was something that bothered my mind and made me want to ask Taka. But unfortunately, we have not been allowed to talk to each other by police officers. At the police station, I became aware that the news about this case had spread in the community. Several newspapers and electronic media picked up the title about a vocalist of a famous Japanese band found unconscious because of drugs."

After a day and a night at the police station, we were allowed to go home. Police said Taka was negligent because taking the drugs did not match the dose, causing him to lose consciousness. This can be understood by their side because Taka was the first time taking the drug. Taka was considered not know exactly the dose of the drug, because his statement said that he took the drug as much as five times, whereas the dose generally only three times within 24 hours.

The officers thanked us very much for the cooperative actions we took.

As I was leaving, I, who was still curious about one thing, asked the officer. "Do I know who reported this to the police?"

The policeman paused for a moment before replying, "I can't tell you about the identity of the whistleblower. But I can tell you if the complainant is a woman. She herself was checked in another room last night, and she was allowed to go home."

I thanked her and clasped Taka's hand, walked out of the police station.

Shinoda and the others greeted us in the hotel lobby and asked us to rest. I am already very sleepy, want to immediately lay down on the bed.

"Thank you very much" Taka said softly and hugged me from behind as we just walked into the room. "Thank you for helping me."

I turned around and hugged her tightly. "I want to ask you a lot of questions, but my body is very tired. Taking a shower and then going to bed will be a lot of fun."

Taka laughed and let go of his embrace. "That sounds good."

I put the bag down and rushed towards the bathroom.

"What's going on?" manya curious.

Shinoda and the others were already in my room and Taka after we had showered and also slept for quite a while. They brought us a lot of food.

"Yes, after dinner, I saw Taka say goodbye to a short nap and asked to be woken up when it was his turn to re-record" Shinoda added.

I looked up at Taka and waited for his turn to tell stories. "I took the medicine after dinner because Rinai ordered it like that. As I was heading to the room, I met Mina-ssi and her friend."

My breath was choked and I suddenly felt tight.

"They asked me to have a drink at a nightclub not far from the studio, but I refused. I told you, I don't drink. After all I just took medicine and it would be dangerous to drink alcohol afterwards.

I went into the bedroom and slept until someone finally heard me screaming and I felt like I was being taken somewhere. I wanted to wake up but somehow the drowsiness that was very much back pulled me to sleep. I only realized fully when I was at the police station," explained Taka.

My room became quiet because no one spoke after Taka finished telling the story.

"Do you know who called the police?" I asked who was responded by all of them.

"I've asked people in the recording studio, but they said it wasn't their side that reported it" Toru replied.

I nodded slowly, "Before leaving the police station, I asked one of the officers about the figure who reported this incident. The police kept the identity of the whistleblower secret, but the officer told me one thing that the whistleblower was a woman who was also examined with you in a different room."

"Only Mina-ssi and her friend, the only woman in the recording studio, Rinai-san," Shinoda said. "We can ask him why he did this. Directly reporting it to the police without knowing what really happened will be very fatal as it is today.

Negative news has emerged, even though Taka only consumes flu medicine. We have to make a press conference as soon as possible to tell the truth to the people. But, we should also keep asking Mina-ssi. It would be unwise not to ask, as his name would be mentioned at press convergence. Otherwise, the public and media will find out for themselves who the whistleblower is, and when they find out the truth, Mina-ssi will be the target of public outrage for making a rowdy."

Everyone seemed to agree.

"Shinoda-san was right. I want to know why the girl hastily reported to the police, even though the medicine my husband was taking was just cold medicine" I added, exhaling.

Shinoda looked at me for a moment, "We'll all meet him Rinai-san. This news is detrimental to us so that the recording schedule is postponed until an unspecified time. After meeting with Mina-ssi, the press convergence from our side will be held while waiting for the press convergence from Mina-ssi's side for clarification."
