Chapter 82 - Traitor

Yami sits on the floor, trying to recuperate after she duels with Riyu.

In his current mind he was thinking about his past.

In the past, when he was a child, he had someone he could call a senior, a true friend, a teacher, a parent, a family, and his hero. And that was his grandfather.

He learned from her and admired her.

However, even people seem to have their own limits. And indeed, Yami's grandfather seems to have entered the end of his life. Not only because of his age, but also because of the scars inflicted from the various fights he had fought.

Yami asks Riyu why she can't, at least, lend him the Battlesuit she's researching.

Yami does know the taboo for a researcher to lend something that is not yet completely safe, but still Ryu understands his grandfather's situation especially when he tells him that before they fight.

“Simply I don't trust your family.”

Ryu said bluntly.

“What do you mean? What is it about that ridiculous dispute, you should know that-”

“No-no. It's not about that,” Riyu cuts off Yami's words and replies, "It's actually more troublesome than you think.” Riyu sighed heavily.

“What do you mean?”

Yami looked confused by what Ryu said.

“To put it simply, I don't want to give that battlesuit because there are indications that there are some people who want a coup in your family, and it will be done by one of the people who is in the Kuro Family. I don't want that battlesuit to fall into the wrong hands and cause even greater trouble."

Yami was surprised to hear Ryu's reply. He seemed to be in disbelief at what Ryu said.

Riyu takes out a document from her and gives it to Yami.

"These are some things I managed to get. You can see it for yourself,”

Yami read the document then frowned again and again.

In the document, there is no evidence as to who is behind all the chaos going on in the Kuro family, including the chaos between the Kuro family and the Akahasans.

However, one thing is certain, from the document Yami knows that the culprit is within the Kuro family.

And that was referring to one thing, someone wanted to replace him as the next heir of the Kuro Family Head so that made Yami unable to become the Kuro Family Leader.

"Yami, I know you just want to give that battlesuit to your grandfather. But the side effects are really too dangerous. Riyu knows that Yami only wants to give the battlesuit to her grandfather, but she explains that the side effects of the battlesuit are really dangerous.

Let's just say the Akaasa family gave the Battlesuit away, Riyu felt that someone would be forced to use the Battlesuit would happen in the near future, and that bad feeling was getting closer.
