Chapter 10 - Nemesis

“You are really impolite not.”

My grandfather shook his head, as if disappointed with what I had done.

“Uhuk uhuk, I have a fiancee? What nonsense is this?!”

I ignored his complaints and got straight to the point.

However, before I could complain again, I could feel a terrifying aura behind me. When I sensed it, I started peering at the source, and all I saw was the terrifying Maya.

“Akasa Master, can you explain what you said?”

“Glup.”

We gulped at the same time, feeling a terrifying aura coming from Maya.

They thought that human life was the price to exterminate Eternite.

In his slogan, they might seem like people willing to sacrifice themselves to exterminate Eternite, but they were too extreme to sacrifice anything indiscriminately.

They openly opposed the Five Great Families because they thought that we should sacrifice ourselves for the world. That's so ridiculous to me.

And although invisible, their ambitions were greater than even the Five Great Families could have imagined.

I clutched my palm tightly.

I may not have met them in person, but they are still part of my family.

For the Akaasa family, including me, family is everything and cannot be bargained for anymore.
