About Fany
Part 6: The Rangga

As usual, the canteen is always crowded during rest hours. That made Fany who initially wanted to go buy food decided to stop her steps. His mood was chaotic and he did not want to be in the crowd, especially since Berly did not go to school today, he was getting less excited. Then, he decided to turn towards the stairs that lead to the top floor.

Fyuhh....

Fany breathed a sigh of relief as she reached the rooftop. He headed to the guardrail to enjoy the view of the city. Being in an open space alone like this made his body and mind relax.

"Room here?"

Oh, it doesn't seem like he's alone here.

Fany looked back and found Rangga walking towards her

"What's this guy doing here?" ask Fany.

"Well, this is where I am" answered Rangga while standing to the left of Fany.

"So, play public place claims at will," said Fany.

Rangga just kept quiet and chose to circulate his gaze forward.

"Will not go to the cafeteria?" ask Rangga.

"Males."

"What's not a lager?"

"Not really."

It seems that Rangga was carrying something in his right hand, "Nih," he also offered a box of chocolate milk.

"Make me?" ask Fany.

"Sir, make a cake next to lo," replied Rangga.

Fany was surprised and immediately turned to the right. Of course there's nothing. Feeling lied to, he immediately beat Rangga's arm.

"Lo's fraud!"

Rangga who got a small blow repeatedly just laughed, "yes make you, bego."

Finally, without hesitation, Fany received the milk and drank it straight away. It's like the nature of Fany, if you want to take it, if you don't want to say.

"So," Rangga paused his sentence, "Golden Garuda University, huh?"

Fany rolled a lazy eyeball, "yes, I know it's too expensive for me."

"Not that," replied "Keep, what's your plan?"

"What plan?" confused Fany.

"It's planned to go to college there."

Fany seemed to think, "Huft."

Rangga immediately turned to look, "huh, kok gatau?"

Fany sighed harshly, "what Ms Sri said is not wrong, there is no guarantee that I will get a scholarship there. Even if I enter my national championship certificate, there must be many other camaba who have a more prestigious championship than mine."

Rangga continued to listen while watching Fany's face that turned sad. He could see a look of confusion, sadness, and anger in the girl's face.

"I've been studying for a long time, easy life if you have money, and if you don't have money at least you have to pinter. Unfortunately I don't have those two things."

"But you can pinter," interrupted Rangga.

"not enough. At least I have to be super genius if you want to get a scholarship from Garuda Emas," continued Fany.

Actually Rangga did not understand the way Fany's mind. Less clever what else Fany is, as far as he knows Fany is one of the most outstanding students in his school.

"So!" exclaim Fany firmly, "gue has dreamed of entering Garuda Gold since long ago. I've been preparing to get in there so far. Study every mallm to pass the test there, nabung certif race let me be accepted. And if it's a matter of cost, let me think while going, there must be a way out."

Rangga just nodded in understanding. He was quite amazed by the spirit of this girl beside him.

"How was Lo?" it was Fany's turn to ask.

"Gue doesn't want to go to college" replied Rangga with a bright look ahead.

"How does BK answer?"

Rangga squealed softly, "cih, kayak usually. At first I said 'I appreciate your decision' but at the end of the day it's maksa."

Fany listened carefully to Rangga's explanation. He was quite interested in talking about something like this.

"My parents asked BK to let me go to medical school. Papa, mama, my brother, they're all doctors. They always meant me to be a doctor too. In fact, papa paid the secretary so that the value of my report card is raised," said Rangga made Fany rather surprised.

"The family lo pinter all dong, but kok lo naughty really, anyway," Fany returned with his spicy mouth.

"Gue also pinter tau," replied Rangga did not accept, "just males the same as a naughty cover."

Fany chuckled softly, "keep on dreaming what?"

Rangga shook his head, "nothing."

"Seriously nothing?" reply Fany while looking at Rangga from the side.

Rangga kept shaking.

"There has to be dong" said Fany, "the dream doesn't have to be a job. Can you want to travel around the world with money ortu lo, it's also a dream."

Rangga clenched Fany's forehead making the girl grimace while rubbing her forehead.

"Gue just wants to live my life without stress" replied Rangga.

I don't know why Fany can understand Rangga's words. According to him, Rangga was quite depressed by the demands of his family who wanted him to become a doctor, while the child was a very unruly type. One of the factors that made Rangga grow into a rebel.

"Life is funny, yes" Fany kept silent for a while before continuing, "when I need the most money, what I have is freedom. Whereas, when you want freedom, you even have a lot of money."

Rangga nodded, "lo want the tukeran to live with me not?" chirps.

"Click, at least his brain is not empty" replied Fany, "you want to not have parents? Every time you open the door, no one welcomes you from inside the house."

Rangga shook his head slowly, "not really, gini-gini I also still love my mom."

Fany chuckled, "it's like you've never been a troublemaker again now."

"Gue is not that often also makes a tantrum," Rangga walked towards the old bench near the stairs and sat there, "jailin people can also be tired."

"Then anyway?~" said Fany in a contrived tone to mock Rangga.

Faintly heard the entrance bell ringing, they had to return to class immediately.

"Eh, come on in, come on back to class" said Fany in a hurry to the stairs.

"Lo just there, I want to be here," replied Rangga indifferently.

"Basic delinquent, just penitent already want to skip again," said Fany while continuing to step away from the rooftop.

Rangga did not reply to Fany's words, he instead secured himself in the chair while removing a pack of cigarettes and sipping it. Talking to Fany made her keep pondering about her future. Rangga is a smart child, since childhood he likes to read. However, that all changed when her parents started to organize her academic life.

During this time he continued to avoid the demands of his parents who wanted him to enter medical school by doing juvenile delinquency. He wanted to make his parents know that he was not a submissive child who could be arranged as they pleased.

However, today Rangga realized that he could not continue to shy away from his parents. He will not forever be an unstable teenager. One day, he will be a grown man. Even if he doesn't want to be a doctor, he still has to have a career. That was something that Rangga had never thought of all this time. He doesn't know what he really wants.
