About Fany

Part 12: New Home

Fany stuffed all her clothes and belongings into a suitcase along with two large cardboard boxes. Today is the day she moves into her new home. Since last night, he couldn't sleep. He felt anxious thinking about everyday life in his new home, what if everything was not going according to his expectations.

After saying goodbye to the boarding house mother and her friends, she put her belongings into the trunk of the car assisted by Radit. Father and his mother could not come to pick him up because they had to take care of something in the company, so it was his stepbrother who came to pick him up.

Shortly after, the car began to drive towards their new home. Along the way, they were silent because there was indeed no topic to talk about. How not, they had only met once. Fany also still does not like her new father and family.

"Dec," call Radit to break the silence.

Fany immediately turned his head and stared fiercely, "bluh, what the hell call me 'Dek'?! disgusted to know no, just call a name can not, anyway?"

Fany sighed harshly, "whatever."

"Btw, have you eaten yet?" ask Radit.

Radit immediately turned the car into one of the ramen restaurants. Fany who saw Radit's behavior immediately looked at him with an annoyed look. This stubborn half-brother too, he thought.

Radit ignored Fany who was mummified unclear, he even got out of the car and invited Fany to enter the restaurant, with a little coercion of course.

Eventually, Fany follows Radit into the restaurant. They both ordered two bowls of ramen and occupied one of the empty tables.

Not long after, two bowls of ramen were served on their tables. Fany just crossed his chest while looking at Radit who focused on eating ramen with pleasure. The ramen itself had not been touched at all.

"Cih," cried Fany without cause while turning the eyeball lazy.

Radit glanced at him, "gue knows you hate me because I'm part of your father's family" Radit stopped his meal and looked at Fany, "but I sincerely ngangge lo kayak adek myself. I always wanted to have a girl."

Fany laughed lightly, "lo don't even know my nature yet, but you've done me as adek lo girl? Are you sure you can be my brother? I'm not sure if I'm the same as your dream image."

"Lo himself is too, right?" reply Radit.

Fany's forehead frowned, "do you mean?"

"Lo doesn't know anything about dad, but you want to be invited to stay together. Sure you can?"

Fany straightened her body. He did not reply to Radit's words. If before he was quite sure that his father would not do him any harm, but now he became restless after hearing Radit's words. The man knew his father very well, surely he knew what his father's nature was.

"What's the matter with dad?" ask Fany.

Radit shook his head, "there's nothing, anyway. Good dad, really. I just want you to realize that you're not much different from me, too trusting with instinct."

"Maybe now you're safe because your decision to stay with us is just right. I, my father, and my mother really do not think of you as a family. But, it could be in the future you do the same thing, which is to believe the same people according to your instincts, the difference when it turns out he is the wrong person. I suggest you be more careful."

Fany just stared at Radit trying to digest her brother's words. Although his face showed indifference to Radit's words, his mind still accepted the advice he thought was not wrong.

Not wanting to drag on in his own mind, Fany immediately ate the ramen. When they finished, they continued their journey.

On the other hand, David and Zara are waiting for the arrival of Radit and Fany in the living room of their new home.

"Mas," call Zara.

David sitting next to her looked up.

"You seriously want Fany's match?" ask Zara.

David sighed, "initially I said that Fany agreed to stay with us. But, after I thought about it, there's no harm in me finding a suitable partner for him."

"Do you have a candidate?"

David nodded, "do you know Mr. Alex, the owner of that famous real estate company?"

"Yes obviously I know, lah," replied Zara, "he was your friend back then, right? We also had dinner with his family several times. I think his house is also in this residential neighborhood, right?"

David smiled, "you're right. I met him a while ago at a golf club. There we talked a lot, and he kept telling me about his only son."

"He often fights with his son because he and his wife do not like his son's girlfriend. Finally, I took the initiative to get to know Fany and her son. If they get married, our company and Alex's company will be easier to work with."

"Huh?! Is that really you, Mom?!" surprised Zara, "why is Fany's soul mate the same person who already has a girlfriend anyway, Mas?!"

"I'm the same as Alex, honey," said David trying to calm Zara, "Alex will make her son let him cut off his girlfriend, then marry her to Fany."

"Are you sure, Mas?" zara said anxiously, "i'm afraid Fany will suffer later."

David nodded steadily, "i already know which son Alex, he now holds an important position in his company. He is a smart and responsible man. I'm sure he's the right guy for Fany, and he won't hurt Fany."

"Alright, hope your choice is right" Zara replied.

After that, they heard the sound of Radit's car that had reached the yard. They rushed out to greet Fany.

"Fany!"

Excited Zara as she ran over to Fany. Fany, who had just gotten out of the car, turned her head. When her stepmother wanted to hug her, she immediately shuffled back, so the atmosphere became a little awkward.

David who saw it immediately tried to melt the atmosphere, "welcome to your new home, son."

David smiled and walked over, "you must be tired, huh? Mending you go straight in. Let me have your brother take your things to the room."

"Come, son," Zara asked.

Fany just nodded, then he followed Zara into the house. They headed for the room that Fany would occupy on the 2nd floor.

Fany stepped into the spacious white room. The feeling of awe that he had been trying to hide since he first stepped into the main door, now he could not hide anymore. His eyes sparkled looking at the entire room that looked beautiful and clean. Zara who saw him secretly smiled, she was happy to see Fany liked her room.

"Excuse me, the suitcase will pass~" said David who carried Fany's suitcase, followed by Radit who brought other items.

Zara who was at the door only laughed. While Fany who stood covering the road immediately moved aside so that they could put her things in the room.

"Now, it's up to you to rest first or arrange your things, later at 1pm we eat together below" said David.

Fany just nodded.

"Yes, we go down first, son," said Zara.

Then, the three of them left Fany in her own room for the girl to rest.
