Part 13: Sorry Fany, Mom

Fany chose to immediately tidy up his belongings so that later he could rest without any burden. He was again amazed when he realized that the place where he made clothes was no longer in the closet, but a walk-in closet. Only, his clothes were too few to arrange there. Not very aesthetic, he thought.

Everything's sorted out. And finally, he put a small frame containing a photo of his late mother on the nightstand next to his bed.

"Mother, I'm sorry Fany," slowly tears her eyes, "Fany feels that Fany has betrayed her mother by living with her father and family. Fany's really sorry, ma'am."

Her tears grew, "but Fany couldn't lie that Fany was tired of living alone. Fany wants to continue studying at Fany's dream university calmly, without having to bother thinking about the cost."

"So, please don't be mad at Fany, Mom" Fany said, smiling at her mother's portrait.

Then, he went to the bathroom in his room to wash his face. After that, he went downstairs for lunch.

"Eh Fany" Zara said as she watched Fany climb down the stairs, "come on, sit down."

Fany approached Zara who was setting the dining table.

"Can I help you?" great-grandson Fany.

Zara turned her head, then smiled, "it's done. You sit down, wait for the others to come down, and we'll eat."

Fany simply nodded, then sat down on one of the chairs. He saw a lot of dishes served. However, he did not see a single maid here. Did Zara prepare all this alone? Fany didn't know if the bundle was this craggy.

"Fany," David's voice made him turn his head, "have you finished cleaning up the room?"

Fany just nodded. David who saw it just smiled. His son was still reluctant to speak to him intimately.

"Well, it's been gathering, nih," cried Radit who immediately occupied the seat next to Fany.

"Then, let's eat now, hunt down the cold food" Zara said.

After that, Zara brought rice to her husband. Fany looked at it with a sad look.

'It should be the mother who is in that position, ' her inner self.

But soon, he touched his thinking. He did not want to let go of crying in front of them if he kept thinking about his mother.

"Eh, I can take it myself," exclaimed Fany as Zara also picked up some rice for her.

Zara smiled, "it's okay, honey."

Fany felt awkward when treated like this. Finally, he continued his lunch in silence. Not caring about everyone who occasionally talks in the middle of that lunch. His mind was still upset, how could his father get a harmonious family like this, even very good to him.

"Oh yeah, you're gonna have a test soon, Fany?" ask David.

Fany turned and just nodded her head.

"What if you go with the bimbles?" continued David.

"No need" Fany replied briefly.

"Why? You don't have to worry about the cost, don't worry about the same father," said David.

"I can still learn by myself, no need to be dumbbell," replied Fany.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to the stand? Even though you're smart, but it's even more effective if you study with a tutor" says Zara.

Fany shook her head, "no need. I don't want to be too tired, anyways starting next week there's already a dumbbell from school."

"Well, if that's what you want. But later if you have difficulties, do not hesitate to talk to father, yes," said David.

Fany just nodded.

...----------------...

Krieg... Krieg...

The break bell rang, Fany immediately got up from her seat and headed to the canteen. However, just arrived at the door of his class, it turns out there was Berly waiting for him.

"Eh, wait for me?" ask Fany.

Berly nodded with a sweet smile, "barb, yuk."

"So, what's it like living with your dad?" ask Berly to open the conversation.

"Lumayan," Fany replied as she continued to eat her meatballs, "so far it's safe anyway. They didn't show me any bad qualities, or not."

"Thank God that they're not evil at all, you are" Berly replied.

Then, they returned to eating the food quietly.

"DOR!!"

"Let'soo!!"

Fany and Berly glared at Rangga who suddenly appeared and surprised them. That guy really made them almost hangers.

"Live bosen lo?!" yelled Fany while beating Rangga's arm brutally.

"Ouch! Yes-yes, my goodness," said Rangga. Don't forget Fany's punch even though it's messing around, but it still hurts.

Then, he sat down next to Berly and picked up Berly's meatballs.

"What the hell lo?! Buy yourself there!" sulek Berly who did not receive one pentol of his own was stolen by Rangga.

"Dih, stingy is very much a girl," said Rangga.

Berly snorted angrily, "the money's a notch, still a malak, huuu."

Rangga only grinned the horse, while Fany was already laughing out loud. He likes to see his friends not getting along.

"Udah officially became a member of Mr. David's family," Rangga teased Fany.

Fany smiled obliquely, "yes dong, wallet safe nih boss, my life so prosperous."

The three of them laughed together.

"It includes romance too, right?" ragga.

Fany was silent. The two friends who saw this also stopped their laughter.

"Why, Fan?" ask Berly.

"Don't you really get fooled by a big-ass grandpa, huh?!" exclaiming Rangga with a loud voice made some students turn their heads.

Plakk

"Effort to scream too, can't you?!"

Rangga held onto her slightly hot cheek after getting a slap from Berly.

"Gue forgot," murmured Fany.

Rangga and Berly looked at Fany, "huh?"

"Gue forgot that I wanted to be betrothed," said Fany in an anxious voice, "how are you?"

"It's right, you're right now," said Rangga, "not to think of it first, anyway."

"Whose father you haven't talked about the matchmaking?" ask Berly.

Fany shook her head, "just 2 days to live with her. I'll talk about it the same as me."

"Udahlah Fan, cancel the lo deal. You are only 18 years old, the time is ready to marry anyway," said Rangga.

"Can't do that, dong. From the beginning of the deal if I stay with my father, I will be betrothed. If I don't want to be fooled, it means I have to get out of that house" Fany replied.

Though not. After all, if Fany does not want to be betrothed, David will not dispute that either. Fany likes to have wild assumptions.

"Judah, accept fate, long time I follow confused as well," said Rangga with a tired sigh.

"Yes, follow the plot first, who knows if you are fooled by the same handsome guy, pinter, rich, who dreams of you really," said Berly trying to entertain Fany.

He didn't like to see a pessimistic Fany like this. Although the overly optimistic and weird-minded Fany was quite annoying, it was better than her best friend being moody like a person who had no passion for life.
