About Fany
Part 3: Flashback (2)

2010

In a kindergarten, children play happily. Fany is one of those happy kids. He grew up to be a sweet and cheerful child. Living only with a mother and all the shortcomings make Fany behave more mature. When the other children were accompanied by the parents while at school, he was always alone. From the first day of his entry, he refused to be accompanied by his mother, saying that he was a brave boy. It makes Divya grateful because her son can be independent, and he can work calmly.

Bruk!!!

"Oh," a kid accidentally bumped into Fany until they both fell.

Fany stood up and cleaned her slightly dirty skirt, but she was shocked when the child who hit her started crying.

"Youngpam... Mama!!" the woman called Mama ran to help her.

"Honey, I could fall anyway" said the woman as she helped her son stand up.

"Fany pushed me," Fany was shocked as the boy pointed at her.

"Huh? No aunt!"

"You can't be so naughty!" the woman spoke out loud enough to make the people turn their heads, "quickly apologize."

Fany's forehead frowned, "but Fany was not wrong, Dea who ran away and hit Fany, we both fell really."

The boy named Dea shook his head, "Fany is wrong, Ma."

"You don't know how to apologize, do you? At school to be smart even be a bad boy, this is the effect of not being noticed by parents," said mama Dea very hurt Fany.

"Wicked aunt! Dea was wrong, why were my parents wronged?!" fany's screams made the Kindergarten teachers scatter out.

"Dare to yell at your parents, huh?! You don't have a father!" mama Dea shouted no less loudly.

"Already, mom. Relax first, Fany is still a child," said one of the Kindergarten teachers while hiding Fany behind his body.

"Please tell Fany's mother that her son is rude, ma'am. Let the woman can educate her child better," said mama Dea.

Fany could only cry behind her teacher's body. He was just a little boy, but had already gotten maki abuse from an adult. Luckily his teacher did not report this to Divya because they knew what Divya and Fany were like, they also knew that Fany did not push Dea. Fany remains a cheerful child and hangs out with her friends, though she gets ridiculed from her friends for being poor and fatherless.

At a young age, he had to learn to survive in the cruel world, all the hurtful words directed at him had grown angry in his heart, but it also made his mind stronger.

2019

Fany is now in the 2nd grade in one of the best Junior High School in her city. Every day we travel 8 km to get to school on a bicycle. He lived his daily life sincerely, even though in his heart there was a speck of envy in his friends who went to school delivered by his parents, or riding a motorcycle even though they were underage.

"They had a good life, no need to worry about bicycles," the thought often came to his mind, but soon he tepis, "let alone, they must not be as strong as me."

Arriving at school, as usual, he went straight to the cafeteria to leave the fried food that his mother made this morning.

"Good morning, Mrs Denok," Fany said to Ms Denok, the canteen's guardian mother.

"Yes, Mom," Fany immediately arranged the fritters she brought on the cafeteria table.

"Udah ma'am, I went straight to class, yes, already wanted to enter," Fany immediately ran to the class without waiting for a reply from Bu Denok. The canteenkeeper just smiled at Fany, he was happy to see Fany who was always cheerful when he met anyone.

Arriving in class, he saw all his friends busy writing something.

"There's PR?" ask Fany to one of her friends.

"Well, you haven't done it yet, Fan?"

"The ant! What PR?!" Fany panics, and she joins her friends who copy Berly's math PR, her avid best friend.

"Extm..."

A person's silence makes everything in the class turn towards the door.

"Eh Bu Rara," said Dion, the class leader to Bu Rara, a math teacher who gives PR, "the bell has not sounded, ma'am."

"Then?" Bu Rara was indifferent and waltzed in towards the teacher bench.

All the disciples just fell silent while looking at the movements of Bu Rara, they all did not dare to move.

"Gather your PR right now!" said Mrs Rara sharply.

All the students flocked to hand over their assignment books at the teacher's desk, no matter if they had finished PR or not, including Fany. He had already resigned to what punishment would be given to him.

Sure enough, Fany and three friends who had not done PR were punished for respecting the flagpole in the middle of the field during math lesson hours, which unfortunately today there are 2 hours.

"Fan, you can't do PR anyway" said one of his friends.

"Yes, even though you are an avid student, ranked 2nd in the class again" chirped another friend.

"Why am I ranked 2nd? Gini gini I am also human, can forget," said Fany lazy.

"Eh ssst shh, diem all, Ms. Rara same our homeroom teacher nyamperin," whispered one of her friends who saw their math teacher along with the homeroom teacher walking towards them.

Fany who saw him frowned confused. It's just a punishment, why their homeroom teacher came along. Punishment like this is common. Somehow his premonition was bad as the two adults started to approach, plus Bu Rara's fierce face turned into a wistful look towards him.

"Fany," call her homeroom teacher.

At that time, he hated to hear his name called, let alone hear the homeroom speech after, "your mother is no more."

At the age of 14, he lost his mother in an accident. Divya becomes a hit-and-run victim while going to buy cloth to the market, and dies on the spot. Complete is the suffering of Fany, live a kara, without any relatives who can take care of him.

Several times he was offered a neighbor to go to an orphanage, but he refused. There were also those who offered him a job, of course he refused, because the people who offered him a job definitely demanded him to quit school. He knew people were sorry for him, but he was very offended by the offer of those people. He is just a teenager who has emotional instability, he increasingly feels his life is unfair. He was angry with everyone, he was angry with the world, he was angry with God, he was angry with his father who had abandoned him and his mother.

With his mother's savings, fried money he made himself to leave to the canteen mother, as well as aid funds from the village, he survived on his own in the small rented. Until the time he graduated Junior High, he immediately moved to high school in the city, and he lived in a boarding house near his school.
