A Lionel Si Casanova

A Lionel Si Casanova
Chapters. 37 'A Address

Address? Reddick received the paper that Delvin gave him with a frown. The two look at each other.

Bruk! Reddick slammed his ass on the couch. Then put the paper on the table. For a moment he thought of something else. Then I looked at Delvin.

"What about you?" reddick asked realizing that someone was hurt because of this meeting.

"I? Why?" delvin asked as he grabbed the paper. He turned his head only at a glance, then looked back at the paper in his hand.

"The person Lionel should know best is you, but he doesn't remember you."

"Hm ..."

"I know you must be disappointed." Reddick knew full well that their relationship was so close.

"Maybe there's something that makes Lionel unable to recognize me, Red. I just need to believe there's an explanation for that." Delvin said by trying to relax. Reddick doesn't talk about it anymore.

"What about that address? What does he mean he gave it to you?" ask Reddick.

"Maybe he wants us to figure out how he lives now. He just kept saying you were luckier than him. There's something that would explain how he lived the life of a Reddick." Delvin concluded.

"It seems appropriate. So when are we gonna find that address?"

"Now we can find him." Delvin seriously said that. It seemed like this man wanted to know Lionel's state sooner. She's anxious. "But it doesn't seem too rash ... Maybe today is not a good day." Delvin changed his mind.

"It's fine if you want to know about Lionel."

"no need. We have a lot of work." Delvin stood up to take the tablet and began to put on the face of a competent secretary. Then read Reddick's schedule today.

Since Lionel did not show up, Reddick left for the address the man gave him. He's not alone, there's Delvin beside him driving.

"Have you asked your men to look after Bellina and her mother?" reddick asked, looking at his phone.

"Yes. Don't worry."

"Sorry Delvin. Even though our trip is only an hour away, I'm anxious if I'm not sure that my wife and my in-laws are safe."

"I understand." Delvin knows Reddick loves his wife so much.

"thank you. Then how do you behave when you know Lionel's life."

"I still don't know" Delvin replied as if discussing this made him sad.

"I'm sure it must be because of something he can't remember about you. Because if our conditions are the same, he should be able to remember all the things when he became Lionel first even though it had entered into Reddick's body" said Red explained. Delvin just smiled.

After traveling about an hour, Delvin arrived at a village on the outskirts of the city.

"Is this place really?" ask Reddick in doubt. Delvin was silent, looking around.

"If the address written is correct, this place is what is meant," said Delvin convinced. "We'd better be straight to make sure."

"Yes, we better ask people," Reddick agreed. They came down and approached the stall on the side of the road. Delvin came closer.

"Excuse me." Everyone inside the shop looked at him almost simultaneously.

"I want to ask. Is this address right here?" delvin asked as he handed the paper containing the address Lionel had written to the old man. Everyone took a look at the paper that Delvin was carrying.

"Yes. This is the area." The old man nodded confidently after reading the address.

"Yes. This is the address on this paper" Delvin told Reddick.

"So .. Do you know this guy?" Now it's Reddick's turn to show them a picture of his face. All of them looked up at the photo inside Reddick's phone. He got the picture from Bella's phone. Yes, Reddick stole it from his wife.

They're shaken. No one knew Reddick's face. Delvin and Reddick are planning on getting out of there. When there was a man of great stature entered the stall. He saw Reddick who still did not enter the phone containing a photo of him until this man saw him.

"Hey, why are you holding harold's picture? Are you his family?" asking the man made Delvin and Reddick turn his head quickly.

"Do you know this guy?" ask Reddick.

"Yes. You're not the bad guys who want to harm him, are you?" the big man asked doubtfully.

"No, we are his friends, " said Delvin.

"Friends?" The man looked at Delvin and Reddick alternately. It was as if he wanted to find out for himself how these two men in front of him actually were.

"So you know the man in this picture?" delvin asked.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Can you take us to this guy's place?" asked Reddick who refrained from being rash.

"Is that important?"

"Our meeting with the man in this photo is very important. It's like a life-and-death gamble" Reddick said seriously. This old man was silent.

"All right then. Come on, you're coming with me." The man took them both out of there. By following the man, they arrived at the exact place where the address was.

Reddick and Delvin blink when they see a mountain they rarely see, the garbage mountain. Their foreheads shriveled as the wind blew rather fiercely. The smell of garbage in the air makes them forced to close their noses quickly.

"You're definitely not used to this scent." The big man smiled. Reddick and Delvin admit that this is the first time they have seen a mountain of trash this high. They were not offended by the man's reaction.

Then they walked into the courtyard of a house made of neatly arranged boards.

"Is the man we're looking for here?" ask Reddick.

"Yes. Harold lives here" said the man. Delvin and Reddick looked at each other. Although the name the man called sounded foreign, but they were sure that it was Reddick. They went into the house following the man.

"Who?" asked an old old mother to emerge from behind the curtains that separate the rooms.

"They're Harold's friends, ma'am," said the man. Reddick and Delvin were stunned. The old mother's eyeballs looked towards the two of them. Delvin, who knows who Lionel is, gets a surprise. Who're they?

"Oh, huh? Please sit down." The mother invited them to sit on a chair made from used car tires. There are many other items made from recycled garbage. It seems they are making the right use of the existing trash. "Harold is still out. I'll be home soon."

Who are these guys really? Why would Lionel stay with them?
