Daytime.
"Delvin, is there a call from Bellina?" ask Reddick for the umpteenth time.
"No."
"Why didn't he call you?" ask Reddick worried. Delvin was silent while watching the man who had been his friend for a long time in surprise.
"Don't he just want to call you? So there's no way he's calling me." Delvin felt certain that the woman could not call him because she just wanted to call Reddick.
"Yes, but maybe he's thinking something else" Reddick said.
"What's wrong with you? Since coming home from Reddick's house when the man died, you've changed into someone else" Delvin said. Reddick straightens up.
"There's no way I could be anyone else in Delvin." Reddick held his chin. Actually he panicked even though he knew no one could find him inside Lionel's body.
"Of course I also thought like that at first, but you're getting different. Not Lionel the woman lover. I don't understand what it is. You've changed. This time all your world is about Bellina." If normally Delvin stopped the question immediately, now he was a little urgent. Unlike when Delvin asked him, this time he was waiting for an answer.
"Everybody can change, right, Delvin?" Reddick had a good reason.
"Not like you." Delvin each put on a serious look.
"Do you believe in a second life?" reddick asked, leaning forward.
"What are you talking about? You drunk?"
"It seems you don't believe. I'll tell you all if you believe that." Reddick pulled his body.
"Don't joke. Just tell me you don't want a story," snorted Delvin who was just in response to a smile by Reddick.
Is there a second life relationship with him that is now changing? Is he really someone else? Despite denying disbelief, Delvin was curious.
Geck! Geck! The door on tap made the two look at each other at the same time.
"Lake in!" delvin's orders. A company employee emerged from behind the door.
"There's Miss Bellina."
"Bellina's? Where's she?" Reddick enthusiastic.
"Miss is downstairs. I'll tell you to go upstairs."
"no need. Let me pick him up myself. Thank you." Thank you." Reddick had to pick up the woman himself. The employee went out of the room. "He's still awkward with me."
"Here is stirring. While there it looks stiff. If you're a real couple, you're a weird couple. It's just that I know your marriage is a charade, so I understand how clumsy you are." Delvin joking.
Reddick just grunted softly.
...***...
"Bellina," said Reddick. The woman looked. "Why not go straight to my room? You can ask for delivery to my people."
"No. I'd better get picked up by you. I don't trust anyone else." Bellina said that with a poignant face. Maybe the Reddick family's cruelty traumatized this woman. He can no longer trust just anyone. "We'd better leave soon, Lion,” pinta Bellina is not calm. Reddick looked around. They were all still watching these two humans.
"I can fire them all that makes you uncomfortable Bellina" Reddick said seriously.
"Don't joke."
"You don't believe it?" ask Reddick. Bellina did not answer. Reddick pulled out the phone and pressed the button. "Hello Delvin's. Can you go to the security room? I need a copy of the cctv tape in the lobby. The time around my wife's arrival until now ..” said Reddick made Bellina gaped at the man in front of her.
"W-what did you say Lion? Stop that." Reddick's hand caught Bellina to stop calling. Reddick glanced at his wrist at a glance. Then I looked at Bellina.
"I proved my words serious."
"Can we just go to your room?" pinta Bellina fast. "I just want to meet you, not see the commotion."
Reddick was silent for a moment. His eye bead glanced again at his hand that Bellina caught.
"Sorry,” Bellina said as she let go of her hand. "No need for that. Let them think what they want to think. I don't want to see a commotion."
"We're going to my room." Reddick complied with Bellina's wishes to prevent her from firing employees who were looking at them with a gossiping gaze.
Reddick's chest was pounding just because of that touch. Which is not a sensual touch. Only like that was able to move his heart.
Meanwhile, Delvin who was on Reddick's phone was confused. "What's he saying? Copies of cctv footage? He then interrupted the conversation without warning. What's Lionel really doing?"
...***...
After arriving at the front door of the study, Reddick opened the door for Bellina. He walked into the room to be greeted with a smile by Delvin. This man stood up to let the woman sit down.
"If Bellina comes, I'll go out" said Delvin. Reddick nodded. The man stepped towards the door and exited.
Reddick's foot stepped towards the intercom machine on the table. "Make a warm drink for my wife" Reddick said. The name felt strange in Bellina's ears. He felt uneasy as the lips of this man called him wife. "In front of others we must be really like a couple." Reddick knew about it. He saw Bellina's body restless as the name of the wife came out of his lips. It is a code that he needs to be careful in using the term.
Even so Bellina simply nodded. He's not mad about that. When he noticed, there was still a trace of crying on this woman's face. Reddick knew it when Bellina cried in her grave.
"You can just call me if you want anything." Reddick wanted to hide his joy at meeting Bellina, but his face was quite honest about this.
"I want to talk about something important."
"Say. I'm ready to listen to you." Reddick prepared himself to be a listener. Whatever Bellina wanted to do, she would be fully supportive. That's why he was given a second life.
