"It's been a long time, Afra Afifah!"
"Aah!" afra cried out instantly as she woke up from her sleep.
Hah .. hah .. hah
"What ... is that?" afra said as she tried to catch her breath, "what ...is a dream?"
----------------------------------------------------------
It's been two years, and now I'm ten. Even so, I already have high thoughts. At least, I don't think I'm stupid. Perhaps, I am an innocent child .. and do not know many things.
I'm now used to thinking kri .. kri .. critical. Ah, yes! Critically.
"Dad! Good morning!"
"Good morning, dear Afra!"
It seems hard to say. Dad told me that I grew up well and became a curious child. That's a good thing, that's what my dad told me. Even so, I'm still like before. The child is quiet, innocent, but always wants to know things.
"Well! You look so cheerful, and also more beautiful!"
"I could have, hehe."
My father said this is still plain, and I think so too. I think I'm too obedient too. I didn't even know it was a bird that chirped every day. I think it's the wind.
"Today you're going out, right? Want daddy to accompany you?"
"Yes! Go, Dad! We go out together!"
Better now I just focus on enjoying my time with Dad! I'm not very good at telling stories, so I'll let you tell them.
---------------------------
Yes, and yes. This is better. No me, no you, no we— ah, never mind!
It's a bright morning. And now, Afra is running around with her father. Yeah, they're playing chases. Trees that always make the atmosphere feel cool and also bright sunlight make everything feel better. No, maybe it's really good.
"Come, go after me if you can!" the father shouted running on the spot and looked back, precisely at Afra who was still trying to chase after him.
"I ... can still .. pursue dad!" said Afra who was getting tired running with her breath already panting.
Afra finally stopped running because of fatigue and the father immediately approached him.
"Okay, we'll rest first, yes" said the father, extending his hand to Afra.
***
"Dad, Dad! That, look!" afra shouted while pointing towards the moving bushes.
An animal came out of the moving bushes. Afra got up from her seat. His eyes widened looking at the small brown-haired animal.
The father woke up from his seat, "Afra knows what animal it is?" his tan was answered a quick nod by Afra.
"That's a rabbit, right?" afra replied while pointing towards the animal with short ears and two front teeth looking longer. Its four legs also look small with their long bushy tails.
The father chuckled, "it's a squirrel, Afra."
The squirrel ran up and climbed into the tree next to him when he realized he was being noticed by Afra and his father.
***
The sun is beginning to set, and it has shown its reddish-orange light. The breeze blew and felt colder than the previous one, or rather colder than the cool breeze in the morning.
Afra and the father had now arrived in front of the tree house. They had already walked home after being content to walk around and play.
The father was ready to go up the stairs and was waiting for Afra who still saw the sunset.
"Afra, come on in. Soon night!" said the father in a soft tone.
"Yes, soon night .. and the stars will begin to shine, Afra."
"Aah!" Afra turned to her father. Not because his father had called him before, but because 'that voice' was heard again.
"Let's go in, the sun's setting!" pinta the father softly while smiling at his son.
"L-yes, Father," Afra replied as she followed her father who had climbed the stairs.
---------------------------------------------------------
Time is unique. Sometimes slow, sometimes fast, and sometimes also. Although it is always moving at the same tempo, it still feels different.
Tap
"Who?" Afra looked to the side, and….
Tap
"What's that?" again he turned his head in the other direction, and there was nothing.
Is this the dream? inward Afra thought and tried to remain calm.
"Yes, Afra," whispered a black figure who suddenly appeared behind Afra.
Afra's body instantly could not move.
The figure stroked Afra's hair and left something that felt liquid and lumpy. Afra felt her hair feeling wet with something that did not feel like ordinary water. However, his body still could not move even though he could still feel it.
Afra looked at that figure's hand that was in front of her eyes at the moment. His fingers look dark red, with his pointy fingernails taper off.
"A–what did ... you do?" tanya Afra ventured, "who's k-au—"
The figure immediately closed Afra's eyes with her red hands. Afra's breath was panting. His body started to shake and his heart was racing. His blood flow felt so fast that it made him feel pain. Suddenly, though….
"Pacify yourself, and see what's in front of you right now!"
Instantly, Afra could instantly feel her body being moved. And that black hand disappeared. Afra's gaze returned, and he was shocked to see what was in front of him at this moment.
A mirror, Afra's inner self after seeing a mirror that conjures up a reflection of her.
Afra looked at her reflection in the mirror closely, and saw a black figure standing behind her. He looked back, and….
Nothing, inner Afra.
Yeah, there's no. Afra only saw a dark room around her. Yeah, dark room without end.
"I'm actually ... Where is .. now?" asked Afra softly.
Somehow ... Afra's mind felt empty. He felt nothing and could think nothing.
Suddenly, Afra felt a cold breath in her ear, and whispered that voice.
"You're here, with me. And we'll see tonight now!"
Afra was wide open to hear the whisper of the voice, the voice of the black figure.
"A–what are you saying?" afra asked in surprise and began to creep in fear.
Hihahi
"Open your eyes, Afra Afifah …!"
