The creature looks to be in front of him at this time. The creature then turned towards him and looked at him with a sad look.
"You ...really beautiful" said the person in a soft tone. But at once a cruel smile was created on her lips, "until I .. wanted you, Afra!"
"Well!" afra shouted immediately waking up from her sleep. Breath gasping. The shadow of the creature is still visible in Afra's mind.
The creature was very clear in Afra's mind. A creature that looks like a human, but its nails look long and taper. And also, the blood that soaked the place where the creature stood. There is only one that Afra cannot remember from the creature. His voice, and also his face.
"What ... is that?" afra said with her breath still panting.
Suddenly, Afra's heart skipped a beat. His head hurt, just as it had been in his first strange dream. Only, this time Afra felt herself— no, her breath seemed to start disappearing. Whenever Afra tried to breathe, her breath always disappeared after she exhaled. Or rather, Afra seemed unable to take another breath after he exhaled.
"Well!" yells Afra in pain. Both hands he put on his forehead. His eyes were covered with his hands.
Even so, the pain is still felt. Not reduced and not added. Only, what makes it painful is .. the image of the creature that is still clearly visible in Afra's memory.
Crick
The sound of Afra's bedroom door opening. You can see the father standing at the door. His face looked panicked and worried, but Afra was unaware of his father's presence.
"Afra! What happened to you?" asked the father as he approached Afra who was still sitting on the bed with her legs covered by a blanket.
His father used to call Afra by her name. I don't know what that's the reason.
Afra was still holding onto her forehead and covering her eyes with both hands, "aah!" screaming pain.
The father sat on the bed and held Afra's hand and placed it on his forehead. Afra was immediately surprised to see her father holding both hands and sticking them on his forehead.
"A–Dad..," call Afra with her voice that is beginning to disappear.
"Afra!" his father answered while hugging Afra's body with tears.
Afra began to feel the pain that disappeared after the father hugged her body. It was just that, the shadow of the creature was still cast in his mind.
The father then let go of his embrace.
"Are you okay, Afra?" ask the father to worry.
Afra just kept quiet and stared blankly at her father's eyes.
"I'm ... okay, Dad," Afra replied in a soft voice and smiled sweetly.
I can't— no, I can't tell dad. After all, you'll never understand what I want. Especially with what I said! Inner Afra.
The father then held Afra's head and stroked her hair, "forgive me father, Afra. Dad can't—"
"Dad don't have to apologize! I just have to keep my promise!" cut Afra in high notes.
It was also if father could really keep it, inner Afra again.
The father was really surprised to see Afra's attitude, but the look on his face still looked worried. He lowered his hand, holding Afra's head.
"Dad wanted to take you out too, Afra! But ..." said the father seriously "if you—"
The father could only lower his head to hear Afra's scream and saw her lying on the bed and covering her body with a blanket.
"Dad just wanted to say .. If you don't get out of the room and get ready, dad won't take you out, Afra!" said the father in a soft tone.
Afra was surprised to hear his father's words and immediately got up from his bed, "what's right, Dad? Can I get out?"
"Yes, Afra. I will take you out, in accordance with my father's promise to you before," replied the father sincerely.
Afra smiled happily at her father's answer and hugged him tightly, "thank you, Dad!"
The father smiled at Afra who was cheerful again. It seems like the choice this time was really right. She could not let her own child, Afra was in the house and always locked herself in the room.
"Then I will wait for you in the living room" said the father, stroking Afra's head.
Afra let go of her embrace, "yes! I'll get ready to go out, Dad!"
The father got out of the bed and went out of Afra's room. Afra sat on the bed and looked out the window. The view of the trees and the breeze that he would soon feel. Afra was really very happy.
"Yeah! I'm going to go out!" said Afra happily.
-------------------------------------------
In every sorrow, there will be pleasure. Just have to wait and not break the rules. Although it feels heavy and painful, but the bird that is released from its cage will certainly be happy. His hope that had never been heard was finally able to materialize.
Afra was getting ready to go out. After bathing and changing his clothes, Afra met his father who was waiting for him in the living room.
"Dad!" call Afra to her father who is sitting on the sofa in the middle room.
The father smiled looking at Afra who was really excited to go out. Afra's appearance was now completely different from Afra who had previously been locked away in a room. Not because Afra was now wearing a white dress, but because of the look of her face that looked cheerful and really happy. Unlike the previous one that always looks sullen and expressionless at all.
"Come, we go see the outside world!" the father said as he got up from the sofa.
"Yes" Afra replied cheerfully.
The father walked towards the entrance of the house followed by Afra who walked behind him. The father then opened the door. The sunlight was seen coming in after the door was opened. Afra was amazed and very happy after seeing the outside world that previously only he could see from his bedroom window. Shady trees, air that feels cool with a gentle breeze that blows. Afra did not think that the outside was really very broad and beautiful.
"Come on!" the father said as he walked out and down the stairs. Afra was a little surprised to see there was a ladder leading down.
Afra had not thought that his house was a tree house, or rather he did not know anything about his house. Especially about the twisting stairs that blend with the trunk of a large tree where the house is located.
"Do you want daddy to be fat, Afra?" ask the father, extending his hand. Yes, actually Afra only need to walk down the stairs and do not need to hold on like a ladder made of rope. But Afra was a little scared.
"Ti–no need, Dad! I can do it myself!" afra replied trying to stay calm and unafraid.
Afra took her foot up the first step, then the second, and the third.
It turns out .. this is fun, inner Afra.
Afra began to walk down every step of the stairs with confidence and preceded the father. The father smiled at Afra who was really happy and returned cheerful, "this is indeed the best choice for her."
