Chapter 53

Today is Ragil and Hulya's second court call.

Maya looked at her tidy son this morning. They still took turns to keep Tyo in the hospital because the middle-aged man did not want to be far from his son and wife.

Usually Ragil will rest and alternate with her. But today is different, the son was neat even though he had just returned from the hospital.

"Where are you going? To your printing shop?"

Ragil has told his whole life to Maya and Tyo, therefore Maya knows if his son is an independent man and also hardworking.

Ragil shook his head and sat down before his mother while scooping food onto his plate.

"I want to go to Mah's religious court, attend my divorce hearing."

Maya nodded in understanding, she had also ordered people to investigate all her son's past and she was not surprised by Ragil's words.

"You have a lawyer for you. Your problems will soon be over, baby, after this you have to live happily."

Maya's eyes were dewy, she clasped her son's hand gently.

Their conversation was interrupted because their court call was about to be made.

There Baskoro provides evidence of Hulya's affair, as well as the arrival of witnesses who are Rizal as the chairman of Rt and Abu as the village officer.

Ragil was quite surprised because Baskoro did not discuss the issue of witnesses at all.

But he was happy, because Rizal and Abu already knew their problems.

Hulya's lawyer looks frustrated because her client is at a point that is impossible to evade anymore.

Shortly the presiding judge read out his verdict at the time.

"Considering all the evidence and witnesses brought by Ragil's brother. We have decided to grant the divorce of Ragil Saputra's brother to Hulya Maulida's sister."

Three beats confirmed the verdict. Ragil gave thanks in his heart, while Hulya could only cry and try to be calmed by her mother.

"The divorce can be taken next week, Mas Ragil" Baskoro said.

"Thank you, sir" Ragil greeted his lawyer and he thanked Rizal and Abu for coming to witness.

There is no discussion about the gono gini treasure because, Ragil handed over the only property in the form of a house he had for Hulya.
