A Cup of Black Coffee

A Cup of Black Coffee
Chapter 38

I left the two women I loved at home. I have to go to the police station to find out what happened to Dad.

"Siang sir," I said to the police officer on guard.

"Hey, how can we help you?" ask him kindly.

"I want to ask the case of Mr. Ibnu who was arrested earlier, sir," I replied.

I don't want to see Dad first. I'd better go see the officer to find out what the real problem is.

"Sir Ibnu whose address is in Suka Raya Village, is not it?" he asked, looking at the computer in front of him.

"Yes sir, right," I replied.

"Please go to the investigator. The room is at the end of the hallway, just follow it, there will be a signboard," he explained.

After saying thank you I then passed to the investigator room as he instructed.

Getting there, I knocked on the door. After being allowed to enter, I continued my steps to meet the officer who looked more assertive with sharp eyes. It was as if he was busy with some files on the table.

"Please sit down, can I help you?" ask him flat.

The officer wearing Tanu's identification was looking at me sharply.

"I want to know the case of Mr. Ibnu, I happen to be his eldest son," I replied calmly.

"Sir Ibnu yes, I briefly find the file. A new person is arrested today, right?" he asked while busy looking for the file in his desk drawer.

"Right sir," I answered briefly.

After finding what he was looking for, he then explained it to me.

"Sir Ibnu was reported for fraud, this case was previously revoked, but the person turned out to report this incident again" he explained.

"What fraud is it, sir?" my question is not to understand.

"Investment fraud, the complainant felt deceived by Mr. Ibn with embezzlement funds. It used to be revoked and ended peacefully, but now the case is continued again, because he said, Mr. Ibnu did not make their peace agreement," explained Mr. Tanu.

"May I know that man sir?" ask me to know.

"The name is Mr. Heru" replied Mr. Tanu briefly.

"Do I know his address, sir? I want to know my father's problem with him, if it can still be solved in a family, then I will go that way," I explained.

Mr. Tanu without many words then wrote his address on a piece of paper.

I have to go see this Mr. Heru, to find out about my father's problems. Who knows, he wants to go back to solving their family problems again.

After meeting the chief investigator, now my goal is to see my father in the air.

I waited in a chair arranged only for one to come face to face.

Dad arrived with the attendant's escort and with his hands in handcuffs.

Her face was so dirty. When he saw me, the look in his eyes was emitting an unseen anger.

"Based on a brat!" it means after we sit facing each other.

"Don't make a fuss, if we don't we'll ban you from seeing guests again!" sniffed one of the officers.

There were four officers standing guard in the detention meeting room. There were also some visitors who were visiting other prisoners.

Dad was wearing a prisoner's orange outfit.

"What's the matter actually, Dad?" I was curious, ignoring my anger.

"If you don't act, we won't end up like this Ragil!" snapped it.

"Can you shut up and obey them? They're powerful and we won't be able to fight them!" mean it.

"I've met with Yah's investigators and they explained that if Dad was involved in a fraud case, then why did you blame Ragil? Obviously it's Dad's fault!" my answer is not to accept.

"Who do you mean? Mr Heru?" my question is not to understand.

At first I thought you were in jail for my father-in-law's report. But apparently by a man named Heru who I did not know him at all.

"No, he's your father-in-law!" fierce reply.

"What does Heru have to do with Ragil Yah's in-laws?" I still don't know where this conversation is going.

Father sighed harshly before answering my question, "your two who have mediated the father case, being annoyed by your behavior towards Hulya. Your in-laws are out of hand, making Heru go back to the case" explained the father.

Only now do I understand what this problem has to do with someone named Heru.

"Is that the guy you consider a best friend? After what he wanted he couldn't get and then he betrayed me so?" my lips.

Dad looked at me sharply, "you hurt his daughter, obviously he's retaliating for the treatment Hulya got for you!" maki daddy.

I sighed, "she's pregnant with someone else's child Well, who here is being hurt?" many weak.

Again father threw away his face, "be patient for a moment, they only ask for time until the child is born, after which they will set you free" he said.

I was asked to give up again to save their self-esteem.

"Let's just be calm, I'll help you as much as possible. Ragil will meet Mr. Heru who knows we can find another way," I told him.

Two officers approached us and told us that visiting time was up.

When my father got up he looked at me sharply, "we're just Gil's little guys you won't be able to fight them" he said grudgingly and left me.

I don't think my father and father-in-law are best friends? Then why my in-laws can do this to a father whose incident is his best friend.

What a frustration they can't force me to finally put pressure on my family.

Totally inexhaustible. Now all the depravity of their families I know, of course a misfortune I can enter in their circle.

I'm not discouraged, I continue the car to the residence of this man named Heru.

The two-story house is quite beautiful, the house looks quiet, until a motorcycle driven by two men came down and opened the gate.

I rushed to meet them. Both were surprised to see me.

"I'm sorry, is this Mr. Heru's house?" I asked two different men of this age.

"I'm Heru, what's wrong? You who?" ask him kindly.

A middle-aged man of this father's age looked unpretentious. But I don't want to be fooled again just judging someone by his looks.

In fact, my family-in-law who looks wise and honorable also has a very terrible nature.

"I am Ragil, the son of Mr. Ibnu," I obviously introduced myself as I reached out.

Mr. Heru's eyes seemed to be in a pattern when he found out who his guests were.

But he still welcomed my hand and invited me into his house.

The house looks quiet and a little dusty. The young man I thought his son didn't talk much.

"Please sit down, I know your purpose in coming here. I made a drink first, yes" he said.

Wanting to prevent it but he was quick to leave me alone in this living room.

There was no cynical look, nor was it upset, when Mr. Heru greeted me. He looked tired for whatever reason.
