A Cup of Black Coffee

A Cup of Black Coffee
Chapter 2

I parked my iron horse in a parking lot not far from my printing shop.

The employees were waiting in front, as well as Hendi, my friend and partner.

Yes, we opened this business together, even though I spent more capital.

However, Hendi was the man behind the success of our printing press.

"Tumben late?" the question is relaxed, although there is a little tucked into worry.

"Nganter wife first," I explained with a smile and handed the Shop keys to her, as I was sure she must have forgotten to bring the keys again.

"Tumben," he answered softly. But I can still hear.

His shoulder was targeted by boxing in return for being the one who was hurting me. He threw his lips back.

I stared at the phone that was always quiet, my message history with Hulya was even very concerning.

There was never any question there, there was only a last message saying that I wanted to go somewhere yesterday and only reply ‘ya’ only.

"Cie ... Cie, just met you when you missed? Call the bro!" sindir Hendi's.

I have five employees including Hendi, we always alternate whether in eating or performing worship obligations.

As my boss never shut up, I also intervened in taking care of printing.

This afternoon as usual I will eat with Hendi, no one feels in stepchildren because they also know Hendi is my partner, my confidant.

"I'm sorry, instead of meddling, I saw that you were dreaming a lot, but there's a problem?" it was in the middle of my daydream.

Does it look like that? But what can I tell Hendi? Tell me I'm a pathetic husband?

The husband that his wife never loved? I can't open my house of disgrace, maybe not now.

"Ah no, please," my dear.

"Your house is fine, right?" scabbed again.

I frowned in wonder, why could Hendi guess like a psychic?

"What the hell Hen! Well, if there's a problem, it's still this newlywed!" I said while chuckling trying to cover up the nervousness.

"Thank God, said the first year of marriage is heavy, because we only know the true nature of our partner" he said flatly.

"Curtain! Kaya has just frowned! That's why marriage, so know how fun it is," I sneered.

He snorted, "that's why I learned so much first, so that I know if I'm ready yet to make a household. I don't want to know if I'm married when I'm not ready for everything" she explained.

Hendi was so mature, he even thought more about marriage before stepping in that direction. Not like me who is unprepared and then stepped without hesitation.

"What should you prepare?" manya curious.

"Many bro! Material and mental as well, of course," he answered quickly.

"But as you say, a year of marriage is the beginning of a household ordeal, meaning that it is also useless if later you are also surprised about the nature of your partner," hecku.

"Yes, not least if I already know first, is a little I know the nature of good or bad, yes it is my version, not a reference as well," he said.

"Why? Are you surprised by your wife's attitude?" guess who was on target again.

I think he's fit to be a psychic, maybe he's a sensitive person, unlike me.

"What the hell is it about being your macem-macem!" grunting.

"Well, I'm just a nanya, if you want to tell a story, tell a story, you know how rich I am, right?" seriously bargaining.

After lunch we decided to rush back to the store. There was no conversation during our trip, not that I was angry, just a lot of things I was thinking about.

Like me with Hendi, he never forced me and always gave me space to myself, without asking questions.

.

.

Coming home from work, as usual, Hulya was already at home. He was busy in the kitchen, preparing our dinner.

Looks like she's been focusing on cooking until she doesn't notice my arrival.

I'm sure he was surprised because his white face paled instantly. In just a moment, before long the hue of his face came back again.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to surprise you" I regretted and approached him.

He took my hand and kissed her as usual.

"Oh, thankfully I don't hang!" his gerrick.

My wife is like a wife in general, maybe, if she is in the house, she wears home clothes like negligee and other relaxed.

But when out of the house then his entire body will be tightly closed with a hijab that is also wide.

"This time I cooked chickpeas mixed with shrimp mas," he explained.

I just smiled, whatever he cooked I would spend without complaining, even if it wasn't my favorite meal.

"Then Dek, mas bath first yes," said I was about to pass, after kissing his forehead.

At dinner we did it quietly. There was no chatter, my wife was too stiff, I was confused about opening a chat.

Suddenly an idea came to my mind.

"Emmm Deck, how about we go to Abi and Umi's house this weekend?" take me.

Usually a wife will be enthusiastic to hear her husband take her home to his parents.

But that doesn't seem to apply to my wife. He always sighed before answering. It seems he refused to go to his parents' residence.

"Just last week we went there, ma'am, what didn't papa? Or go to mom and dad's?" bargain dodged.

It was only last week that we went to the abi and uminya house, but I myself have a mission to find out who Azam is.

Who knows at abi and umi's house I can find another clue.

"You reluctant?" tanyaku carefully.

"Ah en-enggak mas, no papa if you want to take Hulya home," he replied pretending to be enthusiastic.

Now that I think hard about guessing all his attitudes, I know he hides his feelings more often.

Like this time, I know he was disappointed with me, as seen from the way he sighed.

The days I spent with the relationship grew colder. Maybe I am the new one, but nothing has changed with our habits.

At the end of the day, we finally realized the plan to visit my in-laws.

We were greeted warmly by my mother-in-law.

"In the end you obey us to visit every weekend Yes," he told Hulya.

"Yes mi, forgive us who can not keep asking us, when do we have time together if every weekend we have to come here?" hulya gerutu who precisely in sahuti kekekan my in-laws.

What'd he say? Two hours? It's easy to say. I don't think we ever spent any time together.

"Where have you filled Hul?" abi asked when we got to the family room.

There abi was waiting together with mas Zhafran and his son and wife.

"How are you Gil?" she hugged me after I touched Abi.

"I'm still confused by your name Gil, Ragil means youngest, while you're the first child" ledek my brother-in-law Zahra.

I did not mind the tearing of my sister-in-law, I then greeted the little toddler who was busy playing his toys on the carpet together with his caregiver.

"Hello handsome," I asked him to interact.

"Come on Hul, let's cook dinner!" take umi to my wife and be followed by my sister-in-law.

"Something seems to be impatient about the baby" said my sister-in-law, teasing us again.

I saw Hulya throw away her face, she seemed to be unhappy with her brother-in-law's joke.
