Episode 52

Alex and I went to a different cafe, not the usual one where we hung out with friends. This time the cafe was outdoor with decorative lights, although there was an indoor place as well, but Alex and I chose to sit outside.

"Well, what a great cafe, you know where Lex is??" my many.

"Here I'm going to get some food, I saw good, so I brought you here. Tired of it all the time, I want a different atmosphere." Answer Alex.

"It's good, next time you have to bring other friends." My speech.

"Okay, let's bring them here." Answer Alex.

"So what's Lex talking about??" my many.

"Order a snack and drink first, gausah hastily Jo." Said Alex.

"Judah if that is it." My answer.

"You want what??" ask Alex.

"So much as important snack." My answer.

"Fried potatoes with fried calamari??" ask Alex.

"Don't squid dong, what kind of cheese sticks??" my proposal.

"Hmm yaudah if so, he said it was up to you." Said Alex.

"Where's the drink??" ask Alex to come back.

"Chocolate hazelnut is cold." Answer me with a smile.

Alex waved to his waiter, and he ordered snacks and drinks. While waiting for our order, Alex said.

"Actually I told my uncle about our experience, I asked the captain because it was strange why we continue to be disturbed. But I don't tell you what you've been through with Pakde, even your dreams I didn't tell you. But when Pakde told me what he saw with grandfather everything we've ever seen and felt for ourselves, he said, and Pakde also told me that there was one friend of mine who dreamed and said that the dream had been brought to the supernatural. It's still a guess, sirde says you've been targeted to become a mash." Said Alex.

I, hearing Alex, was astonished and confused.

"What the hell is Lex, kidding, right??" my many.

"I'm not kidding." Answer Alex.

"So what do you mean??" my many.

"Pakde and grandpa said you had to meet them to be given an antidote for you to be kept away from such a thing." Answer Alex.

"So we're going to Grandpa's?? everything??" my many.

"It's not just you and me." Answer Alex.

"Yes, we both." Answer Alex.

"I don't want to." I'm firm.

"Why??" ask Alex.

I was quiet for a while, how I wanted to go there I didn't really believe in such a thing and again me and Alex just got to know, how can I believe that even though I like it.

"Work Lex, we pray together." My speech.

"Jo, this is for your safety. I purposely brought you here so that other friends wouldn't know this, only me, you and Jonathan would know. Please believe me." Said Alex.

"Why can't friends know about this??" manya suspect.

"There's a time for Jo, if they find out right now I'm afraid they're freaking out. You know how Anggi and Tasya, especially Irene who is close to you she will be confused if you know you have been targeted. I'll tell them everything when I'm done giving you an antidote and we're not there. Trust me this time." Alex assured me.

In the middle of our conversation our order came. I just kept quiet hearing Alex say. I drink my drink, though, to be honest I was afraid of dealing with such a thing and again it makes no sense for me to be able to until a human would hurt another human being with such an untouchable thing. Where could it possibly happen, I kept arguing in my mind.

"Okay, I'm not gonna mean Jo. Think first if you're willing to tell me, we're going to my grandfather's house." Alex is back.

"Yes just like that, give me time to think about it." My answer.

"All right.." Said Alex.

I was confused whether I should obey him or not, while I could not tell other friends to ask for solutions, especially to mom and dad they could also panic. I assure myself that everything will be fine, I just need to buy some time until this PKL is over I'm sure everything will be fine.

Alex and I snacked and drank without saying anything else, as if Alex knew I was thinking about it.

I who had lowered my head was startled by Alex's voice and touch.

"Jo, can't you??" ask her while touching my hand.

"H-huh, no, no, no Lex." Answer's surprised.

"It's hard to think about, just relax. Okay." Okay." Said Alex.

"OKAY.." Answer me with a smile.

"After this we go home." Said Alex.

I nodded in agreement.
