Episode 42

During the trip we all fell asleep. Arriving at the gate of Tanjung Beringin Village my mother woke me up.

"Sister, wake up we've reached the village gate. Where's your boarding house??" ask mother.

"Yes mom, just keep going, ma'am. House mom boarding passes by the side of the road bu about 15 km away from here ma'am." My answer.

"Yes go to sleep again when I wake up." Say mother.

I went back to sleep, because it was still quite far from the gate. My other friends woke up.

A few minutes later, Ruth said.

"Mom, near the stall, next door is our boarding house." Said Ruth.

"Oh, isn't this kid??" ask mom to make sure.

"Yes ma'am." Answer Ruth.

When we got to the front of the house, Alex's motorbike was parked on the terrace. The door of the house is wide open. My mother and father walked in front, we followed from behind.

"Please go in, sir." Said Alex.

My mother and father came in and sat in the living room, I went straight into the room to put my things down.

I walked from the room to the living room, I saw at the table that there was food, snacks and fresh drinks.

"Who provided this??" I glanced at Alex.

"Who do you think besides me and Jonathan." Answer Alex.

"Tumbent.." My speech.

"Sit's sitting there, eat us all." Said Alex.

We all sat in the dining room with my mom and dad before they went home.

"Where are your host??" ask mother.

"The mother was staying at her mother-in-law's house, because her in-laws were sick. Sometimes he would come by the house." My speech.

" Oh, you guys don't macem here." Said my mother.

"Yes ma, we're just focusing on working on ma's report. In this house we only sleep the rest we work outside ma." My words convinced my mother.

"Good." Answer mama.

"Why don't you use your mom's plates and glasses??" ask my mom to come back.

"We rarely eat at home like this ma, just this time so we are reluctant to use plates and cups of boarding houses, anyways like this can also eat right." My speech.

After eating and taking a short break, my mom and dad said goodbye to go home, they gave me some extra pocket money and hugged me saying.

"It's fine here, brother, if you are sick again father and mother will take you home. Understood." Saying Father.

"Yes yeah." My answer.

Mom approached Alex and said to him holding Alex's hand.

"Don't think too much about Alex, don't feel guilty like you said it wasn't because of the rain she was sick. If you continue to feel guilty, I want to give you a job. Take care of your daughter all the time here, I leave her to you because I see you guys seem close." Mom said, looking at me and looking back at Alex.

"Good ma'am, be careful on the road." Alex said with a smile.

"Ma, what the hell is ma." My speech.

As soon as my mother took off Alex's hand, my mother immediately joined me to get out of the boarding house. Outside she hugged me back and whispered to me.

"Well you know you're interested in him and his gaze for you is also different, mama is experienced dear and more mama is your mother." Said my mother.

"Mama..." I said a little loud.

My mother laughed and got into the car with my father. My mother was a little jaily and moreover she was very able to read me, whatever I felt mother always knew quickly.

My mom and dad were walking home, and I was a little bit outside embarrassed to go inside because of what my mom said to Alex.

The others just smiled, including Alex who also smiled.

I just glanced at Irene cynically.

" I went into the room first huh guys, I want to rest." My speech.
